About: While I've had pets my entire life, I've professionally cared for the animals of others for nearly 10 years. While I was in the Army, I fostered for a local rescue and did the basic training and socialization for young, abandoned puppies to get them ready for forever homes. While pursuing my BS of Animal Science at ISU (Class of '19) I worked at Lloyd Veterinary Medical Hospital with equines of all ages, and spent several years as professional Animal caretaker working at the USDA with small animals. I have experience with dogs and cats, young and old, as well as rodents and other small animal pets, geckos, and freshwater aquarium fish. I am semi-retired, and work my own hours part time so schedule is flexible and it's easy for me to fit your pet(s) into my daily life Your pets will be most comfortable in their own environment, and I am committed to caring for them in a way most similar to what they are accustomed to.

About: I grew up with all kinds of animals and took care of them when sick or when family or friends were away. I can continue training if needed. I love to take care of fur babies. I can confidently say when you get home your fur babies will be happy! I am a caregiver for the elderly with dementia my schedule varies but it is typically 12-5pm I can adapt to any set of rules you may have for your pets to help them be more comfortable and feel safe while in my care.

About: I have grown up with pets all my life, starting at the age of 7. My family currently has three dogs (one small and two medium) that I care for regularly. I am able to walk the three on a lease comfortably and have played a large role in training them. Although I prefer dogs, I grew up with a cat that I loved and cared for. I am able to provide compassion and care to a variety of pet personalities. With years of experience caring for cats and dogs, I understand how important it is to find a sitter/ walker you can trust. Whether your pet needs playtime, a dependable routine or just company, I’m here to provide loving and reliable care. I just received my Doctorate of Physical Therapy in May and am currently studying for the licensure exam that will be at the end of July. My availability is open as I have the freedom to adjust my study schedule as needed. I care for pets in their home by meeting them where they are at; literally and personality wise. With three dogs of my own at home, I am unable to watch your pet outside of their home. In caring for your pet in their environment it helps reduce stress and attempt to maintain any form of routine they have. I am considerate of multiple personalities and consciously make an effort to accommodate the pets needs. With dogs I have watched in the past, I attempt to give them familiarity with their routine, within mine and their comfort. I walk familiar roads/paths, feed them on their schedule (if possible) and attain to any of their needs. I will use any devices/ equipment you typically use and will prioritize safety outside the home (using leases, collars, etc.).

About: Hi there! We’re Justin and Esther—animal lovers with years of hands-on experience caring for both dogs and cats. Justin is an author who’s had pets his whole life, starting with a sweet cat named China, who had a litter of kittens he raised until their passing. Today, we care for Lunae Lux, our energetic Siberian Husky, and Fayth, Justin’s affectionate cat. For Esther, being surrounded by animals was always a dream—and marrying Justin made it a reality. It’s allowed her to bond deeply with both Lunae and Fayth, fulfilling her lifelong wish to share her days with furry companions. Whether it’s walks, playtime, or training, we’re passionate about giving every pet the care and love they deserve. Animals are the first and most important priority of the day, afternoon and night. They are like children in that aspect, or fur children as people say. My cat and dog get along very well. I have trained my Siberian Husky to be more understanding and caring to smaller animals such as cats.

About: Beyond the care for my own personal doggies, I have 5 years of experience working at a premier doggy day care and boarding facility, Camp Bow Wow. Here, I cared for many dogs at once all varying in breeds, size and ages. I was responsible for supervising play time, feeding, administering medications, basic grooming and cleaning. I have also had experience with my own personal pet care boarding service out of my home where I have mostly cared for dogs in my home but have house/farm sat for clients. I'm currently in veterinary school so my schedule can be sparse at times. I am available on the weekends as well as Wednesday mornings with the potential for some afternoon care the rest of the week days. I care for others pets just as I would my own. When I care for pets in their own home, I love and care for them just as I would mine and uphold any special request the owners leave for me. She went above and beyond in caring for Rainbow, spending extra time to play during visits, sending lots of pictures, even giving great advice for administering her medicine (which had been a trial for me). This was my first time using Rover for cat care, and it went great. Rainbow is a new pet--it was my first time away from her, and Tracy really put me at ease knowing she was taken care of. While my long term goals are more focused on conservation, I've found that dogs bring me back to my roots and give me such joy, and I hope to return that favor. I have a BS in Biology and Animal Behavior, Ecology & Conservation. In total, I have about 10 years of professional dog-related experience in various settings. I've also worked in a zoo, a veterinary clinic, a dairy farm, and on a horse farm. I have two years experience with dog boarding, and three years experience in dog daycares. I have also been employed as a dog bather, and can perform services such as nail trims and ear cleanings, among others. I have about five years experience in training and I am certified in pet first aid. In my free time, I love hiking and photography, and I'd love to take your kiddo(s) along for an adventure! About: I currently have a cat and a dog of my own, but I have always had at least one pet ever since I was a kid. I love working with dogs to train them, as well as spending lots of time cuddling and playing. I am comfortable grooming dogs. I love pets of all ages, but I have a soft spot for senior pets. I currently work as a caregiver all day Mondays and Tuesdays. I also draw and work on art a lot in my free time. I participate in various art markets and exhibitions throughout the year, but have a lot of free time aside from those days. I don't have a fenced in yard and I have a dog and a cat so I typically don't offer to host other pets at my home, but I am happy to spend some time with your pets in their own home where they should feel the most comfortable. I can take dogs on long or short walks, take them to a dog park, or just spend time with them at your house. I can bathe, brush, play, and cuddle your dogs. I am not a certified trainer, but I can work on simple commands and behavior modification. It's up to you how you prefer I help take care of your pet!

About: I grew up with dogs and have loved having them in my life ever since. When my senior dog, that I raised from a pup, passed a a few years ago, I wanted more dogs in my life again! I know exactly what it's like having to leave a beloved friend in someone else's care. I have a safe, comfortable home with a fenced yard for your dog to feel at home in while you're away. I now have a dog of my own, she is a submissive, dog-friendly 3 year old who loves other dogs! If you have a friendly, non-aggressive dog I’d love for them to meet! I feel like I have an intuitive sense about dogs and know what they're trying to communicate when they show me what they need. I have experience with playful puppies and seniors with special needs and all ages in-between. I'm a calm, patient, fun leader. Your dog will be treated as part of the family and can sleep in bed if they so choose (let me know if this is not ok with you). I will stick with their usual routine as much as possible so they are comfortable and happy. I will take up to 2 dogs from the same family. One client at a time. I'm a graphic designer working from home so am available for doggy snuggles all day and for playing in my big yard and walks outside. I have a big yard with about a half acre fully fenced for dogs to run, play and explore. I am with them all the time outside and don’t leave them outside unsupervised.
