“Ciel was an incredible sitter for my cat! She sent small updates and pictures each day, and I never worried about how my cat was doing. It made it so easy to travel for the holidays without him. Highly recommend her!!”

“I’ve been having Rachel drop in for our new puppy and she has been wonderful! She’s great with Finley and makes the most of the time while dropping in. She has been very professional and understanding given that my schedule and my fiancé’s schedule changes frequently and sometimes last minute. I highly recommend Rachel!”

“Teresa was amazing! I knew just by seeing her profile on rover that she would be a trustworthy and caring person to watch our cats while away for a few days. The peace of mind while away when you have pets is everything and that is what I had! They all were well taken care of. She is very thorough, timely, follows instructions, caring, and she communicates very well which is important to me. She is a gem. I will be hiring her any time we go away! ❤️”

“Andrew did a wonderful job with our two labs! He took care of them like they were his own. Made our time away much less stressful. I highly recommend him and will definitely have him watch my pups again.”
“Jill has been hands-down the best care provider I have ever worked with on Rover! She came to meet my anxious pup prior to the booking and spent at least a dozen minutes sitting with Obi to get them acquainted. Her reports and photos back to me were detailed and on time and brought me so much joy. I cannot recommend her enough!”

About: Experience volunteering at local cat cafe and caring for friends/family’s pets. Just like dogs, I also look forward to taking my own daily walks! :) I’m the proud mom of 2 cats and I specialize in caring for pets with anxiety. My main job is as a dance teacher, so I only work after school/work ends for our students. This leaves my mornings and mid-days free for walks and furry friends! I am always respectful of clients’ property (and pets of course)! My house currently does not accept pets but I love spending time outside and stopping by to provide needed care.

“Jenny went above and beyond with taking care of my senior cat. I was nervous leaving him overnight after recently starting insulin shots, in addition to his other daily medicines, but she did an awesome job taking care of him! I was very grateful to know I had someone overly qualified taking care of him!”

About: Hello, my name is Maggie! I have been a dog owner of 2 great pups for 10 years now! One of them is 15 years old so I do have experience taking care of older dogs. I have also raised a puppy so I have experience with younger dogs as well. I am so excited to meet a bunch of new pups. I am a recent Bucknell grad and am currently working with AmeriCorps with flexible hours so taking care of your dogs will be first priority. I'll take your dogs on a hike, cuddle at home, on a small walk or anything else! I am very reliable and a huge dog and cat lover. I'm willing to walk your dogs in any kind of weather and give them the love they deserve. I have also grown up with 3 cats so I am extremely comfortable taking care of them as well. I am currently serving with AmeriCorps with flexible full time hours. I am able to stop home at lunch or before and after work to check on your pets! I am comfortable taking your pets out for walks, playing fetch in the backyard, crating dogs, cleaning litter boxes and anything else your pet needs!
About: I treat every pet as if they were my own. You can rest easy knowing your pet will be in loving, capable hands with someone who truly understands and appreciates animals. I have a flexible summer schedule, which allows me plenty of time to provide attentive, loving care for your pets while you’re away. I’m dedicated to making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and well-cared for in your absence. Your pet’s safety and well-being are always my top priorities. I provide a calm, loving environment where your animal can feel at ease and I follow any instructions closely!
About: I cat sit for my neighbor for long periods of time when she goes away. I’ve been an animal owner since the age of 3. Currently I’m in school for nursing but don’t have classes Monday and Wednesday as well as the weekend. Those days I’m hoping to spend time with pets. Caring for pets in my home I will have them on a leash if outside just in case they like to run away. At a clients home I’ll follow the directions to ensure perfect pet care.
“I contacted Montana for Drop in Visits for my two high energy dogs. She communicated clearly, was wonderful with the pups, got them fed, walked and spent time playing with them. I got great photos and updates throughout the visit. I highly recommend her!”

About: I have vast experience working with many different animals, and one of my greatest strengths is helping make the animals I work with feel comfortable. I am certain that I could do the same with your animals too! Specifically, the animals that I work with range from box turtles, cats, small dogs, and large dogs. I am currently a student at Capital University, but I am willing to squeeze in time on my breaks and during the summer to walk and/or take care of your fur babies for whenever you need!! I have a very flexible schedule and would be willing to work with you in order to meet your pet's needs! My services include house sitting, dog walking, and drop-in visits. You give me a time and place and I'll be there for your fur baby!
About: Large Animal Science graduate, have completed the vet tech, dog grooming, and agility courses at BCAHS. Experience with diverse/exotic animal caretaking rolls, canine cpr certified, lots of experience with difficult dog breeds. My schedule with work is very flexible. Usually I tend to walk my dog for a 1-2 hours a day. It is extremely important that my dog Nala gets exercise each day to make sure she stays happy and healthy. Sometimes I also take my cat on the walks as well (he loves spending time outside with his sister with his harness and leash on!). Weekends have much more flexibility with my schedule. It is extremely important to make sure that any animal feels comfortable in their environment. Giving them the opportunity to take bathroom breaks and keeping pets on their normal schedule is very important. Giving pets access to fresh drinking water, specific foods, and medications as needed is also crucial. Providing proper exercise and mental enrichment only helps to further improve an animal’s experience in their surroundings as well.
“Outstanding service, Sierra went above and beyond to take care of my babies. Cordial, responsible and understanding. I would very much recommend her services to anyone looking for a reliable person to take care of your pets.”

“Lisa was great with our puppies for a few drop-in visits while we were out of town for the day. She kept in contact when she was at our house and provided updates with how the puppies were doing along with some pictures. We got back late, so she even checked the next morning to make sure they were okay when we got home which I really appreciated. I would highly recommend Lisa for all of your dog sitting needs! Thank you so much, Lisa!!”

“I’m so happy I found Adriana in time for our trip! She did an amazing job with my big pup. She spent plenty of time on visits, took great pictures, and even brought extra toys for fetch. She also made sure all meds were taken. I would definitely hire her again.”

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Lewisburg. On Rover:
- 100% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 100% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 100% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
