About: As a lifelong animal lover who has always shared my home with pets, I understand how important it is to know your dog is in caring and attentive hands. Your dog will be lovingly cared for and closely supervised on our peaceful 8-acre property, complete with a beautiful creek and plenty of space to explore. We provide lots of toys and treats to keep your dog happy and engaged, and our friendly miniature schnauzer enjoys making new canine friends (after a little welcoming bark or two!). Our free-ranging chickens also add an extra bit of entertainment and curiosity for visiting dogs. You can feel confident that your dog will be safe, comfortable, and well cared for in our cozy home, where they will receive plenty of attention, affection, and fun throughout their stay. I am home full-time after retiring from a 30-year career in corporate IT, which allows me to devote my full attention to caring for dogs providing constant supervision, companionship, and personalized care, ensuring your dog receives the attention, affection, and exercise they deserve. We have a spacious 8-acre property with long, groomed walking paths where dogs can explore and enjoy the outdoors, typically leashed for safety. Our back property is exceptionally private, featuring wide, flat open fields with no immediate neighbors and located well away from the road, providing a peaceful and secure environment. We also have a fenced play area where dogs can safely enjoy off-leash play and exercise. Inside, dogs are treated as part of the family and are welcome throughout our roomy and comfortable home. At night, they can relax and sleep in cozy dog beds located in quiet spare rooms, ensuring they feel safe, comfortable, and right at home during their stay.

About: I’ve been caring for animals my entire life—whether it’s been my own pets, helping out friends, or rescuing strays in need. Both of my cats were rescued by me, and I’ve always had a natural connection with animals. They’re drawn to me, and I love giving them the same trust and affection they show me. I grew up with big dogs, including two pit bulls and a boxer, so I’m confident and comfortable handling larger breeds. Over the years, I’ve potty trained dogs, taught tricks, and cared for pets with all kinds of temperaments. My experience goes beyond cats and dogs—I’ve also cared for frogs, snakes, turtles, and even had the incredible opportunity to volunteer with elephants in Thailand. My love for animals runs so deep that I’ve been vegan for over a decade. Caring for animals isn’t just something I do—it’s truly part of who I am. What I Offer 🐾 A 100% open and flexible schedule—your pets will always get the time, love, and attention they deserve. 🐾 Experience with animals of all sizes, temperaments, and special needs. 🐾 Patience, playfulness, and genuine compassion for every pet I meet. Whether it’s cuddles, walks, playtime, or extra TLC, I’ll treat your fur babies like they’re my own. I have a completely open and flexible schedule, available any day and time. Since I mostly work from home, I can easily accommodate bookings, cancellations, last-minute changes, and special requests. The only exception is occasional weekend evenings after 5 PM, when I work at The Colony in Woodstock. Other than that, I’m always here for you and your pets! I live in a spacious three-bedroom, 2 story home with a large open yard, perfect for pets to play and explore. Your furry friend will have plenty of room to stretch, run, and enjoy the outdoors while getting all the exercise and fresh air they need to stay happy and healthy.

About: I grew up in a cat household and became a dog mom as soon as I left home. I absolutely love all of the cats and dogs I’ve been fortunate enough to meet in this life. I raised my pup, Grumble, from 3 weeks old until she left this world at 11 years old. I am very familiar with the range of needs a dog will have throughout life, from teething to play to mobility assistance. I'm fully available in the winter as my regular job (gardening) is seasonal and won't be picking up again until later in the spring time. I can be flexible to your pets needs and more than happy to follow any directions you provide me with for their optimal care and contentment.

About: I’ve been a proud dog owner since 2013, raising my own pups from just 8 weeks old and learning the ins and outs of dog behavior along the way. For the past three years, I’ve offered dog boarding, caring for dogs of all breeds and personalities. Patience is my strength, and I know how to make every dog feel comfortable, safe, and loved. Here, your dog won’t just have a place to stay — they’ll have 8 acres of open land to run, play, and explore to their heart’s content. Whether your pup loves a good game of fetch, sniffing every corner of the yard, or lounging in the sun, they’ll find their own little slice of paradise here. My goal is to ensure your dog is not only well cared for but truly happy during their stay. I work from home, which means I have plenty of time to spend playing with and caring for your dogs. Since I have dogs and other animals of my own, I rarely travel, so I’m available most of the time to look after your furry family members. We live on open land with no neighbors nearby, so if your dog loves to bark or roam, they’re free to enjoy themselves without worry. I usually keep dogs indoors for comfort and safety, but I also have a giant crate available if you’d like your dog to be crated.

About: I’ve cared for animals my entire life, from cats & dogs to fluffy chinchillas! I have special experience working with powerful breeds, including retired and aspiring K9s, as well as senior & special needs pets. My home comes equipped with accessiblity tools like pet stairs & ramps suitable for even larger dogs. Our quarter acre is unfenced, but we do have a small enclosed area off the porch & several long leads to enjoy more of the grassy lawn. Safety is paramount. I’m comfortable giving medication, following specialized diets, & assisting with mobility issues. I’m an experienced pet parent who just said goodbye to my 17 year old rescue pitbull; I’d like to open my now-too-quiet home to your beloved family members. 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️ friendly ❤️ I’m a professional writer who works exclusively from home. My flexible schedule allows me to cater to any specific needs, take all the potty breaks, and ensure both enriching play & restorative snuggles. And treats, of course! I have a fenced potty area off my porch for easy quick breaks, and several long leads for exploring the unfenced portions of the property. My senior dog recently passed away but she left soft beds in every room, jars of treats, and a big basket of toys I know she’d love to share.
