House Sitting in LeRoy

About: Grew up with dogs and cats my whole life. Started pet and house sitting in my early teen years for dogs of all shapes and sizes as well as cats, fish and turtles. Additionally, I have a degree in animal and dairy science and spent half a year as a veterinary assistant at a clinic. I work a full- time job that is typically 8am-4:30pm with some earlier mornings and nights as needed. But schedule can be somewhat flexible to fit your needs! I’d love to care for whatever your pet needs, walking, playing, feeding or just spend some time with them. I’m comfortable taking care of any special needs for your pets as well such as treats, meds, crating etc. and always making sure they are safe, secure and well taken care of!

“Abby was AMAZING Not only was she able to step in last minute as our other sitter bailed, she loved our dogs as much as we do! She sent many pictures and updates! Took them on nice long walks and gave them all the love and attention. I was so happy I didn’t have to worry at all about my dogs while I was away! About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats for the past couple years for neighbors, friends and family where I’ve walk, fed, played and, bathe them. I’m currently working part time and free in most mornings and afternoons to take your dogs or puppies for a walks and playtime. I’m free most weekends if need someone for pet sitting. I can easily crate your dogs if it’s needed. I can also take them for long walks or to dog parks or pet friendly fenced in parks if they are nearby to keep your pet safe.

About: I’ve been taking care of dogs since I was a child, from the 7 that I grew up with to all of my friends’ and family’s dogs as well! I have dealt with dogs of all sizes and attitudes, and truly love them all. I’m currently working part time, so I have lots of time to care for & give attention to your pups! I have 4 dogs at home that I have to feed and let out, but it’s easy to balance out with other tasks/jobs. I care for dogs based on individual preferences. I am comfortable with crating dogs, leaving them out, spending time with them, etc. It all depends on your dogs needs and your personal preferences!

“Emma was AMAZING! 3 Great Danes and she handled their clumsy-ness and lap dog tenancies without a hitch. My stupid dogs ran off to the neighbors house and had an incident with the neighbor dog. She handled the situation perfectly and kept my dogs, the neighbor and their dog, and myself feeling safe about the incident the rest of booking. When I got home and apologized again to my neighbor, they said that Emma did great the whole time and were impressed with the way she handled things. 10/10 would recommend Emma!!”

About: I’ve been around animals my whole life, growing up with dogs, cats, rabbits, birds, fish, and even a tarantula, animals have always been such an important part of my life. Even though they can’t talk, they quickly become your best friend and constant companion. I believe every animal deserves to be treated with love, kindness, and the best care possible, no matter their age, size, or breed. Over the years, I’ve gained experience with everything from training playful puppies to helping care for senior dogs, including giving medications and basic health care. I also adopted my two kittens when they were just four months old, and they’re now happy, healthy three-and-a-half-year-olds. Caring for animals isn’t just something I do, it’s something I truly enjoy. Hi there! I’m new to Mayville and have open availability to walk, play with, and care for your furry loved ones. I always make sure fresh food and clean water are provided, with bowls cleaned regularly to keep everything sanitary. Whether it’s brushing, playing fetch, going on nice long walks, or just giving them lots of attention and love—your pet’s happiness and care are my top priority! I make sure that my cats home environment is safe for them to roam and not get into too much mischief. Water bowls are cleaned. Food is rotated. Pee pads are changed out and litter is changed once a month while cleaning litter box out daily. I am sure that my cats live in a safe environment and are happy and healthy.

About: I currently have 3 dogs (1 Belgian Malinois, 1 White Shepard/ husky, 1 German Shepherd) and 3 cats of my own. Which is why I know how important and nerve wracking it can be to find a sitter you can trust. I’m fortunate to have a solid circle of friends and family that help care for my pets, but I know not everyone has that. Or maybe you do and you just need last minute help. Either way I’m here to help in any way I can. My primary experience is with high energy dogs: primarily huskies, German shepherds and pointers. I’ve trained many dogs but primarily focus on reactivity training. Training skills: • crate training • recall • human reactivity • dog/ small animal reactivity • healing & leash etiquette • car etiquette & car reactivity • threshold boundaries (ex. Teaching a dog not to go out an open door until they’ve been invited) The most important thing to having a well balanced dog is proper exercise. I live on 3 acres and go hiking regularly. If this is something you’d like your dog to partake in, I’d love to have them!! If you’d like to set up training for a new dog, puppy, or have a reactive dog, reach out and we can you set up for success. I own my own business so I work my work schedule around my dogs needs. I don’t have kids so my priority is my pups and those I’m helping care for. Trust in a caregiver can take time and varies from pet to pet. However, there are some basics things I ensure I do because it’s made a difference in my dogs’ lives. • Car safety is key, you dog will wear a harness and seatbelt in the car. • Your dog will always be leashed whether it be on a walking leash, long lead, tie out, or tandem leash to my dog who has amazing recall. If your dog is off leash trained, that is something we can discuss one on one. • They will always have access to water • They will never be left alone in cars on hot days • They will always get some kind of exercise.

About: I have one or two dogs since I was a little girl. I currently have 2 rescues who I love very much! I have helped watch neighbors dog a few times, and now Would like to make some money doing what I love. Dogs are absolutely man’s best friend. I could never live without a dog in my life. I currently work full time, I work until 4 M-F. I am available on the weekends to do drop in care, dog walking or overnights I would care for dogs in your home, and make sure their every need is taken care. I will treat them like my own. I am willing to walk, bath, snuggle ,and give them my full attention
