“Cindy has watched our dog, Carly a couple of times now and has provided wonderful care. We've only had Carly a little over a year & she can be high energy and a handful at times so we weren't sure how she would react to her new surroundings. She sent us photos of Carly with updates daily to put our minds at ease. Carly really enjoyed her time with Cindy.”
“Rachel and her family were fantastic with Lily! I loved how I got updates and pictures on how Lily was doing everyday I was away. I will definitely have Rachel watch my girl Lily again!”
“Cardi was so happy and well taken care of for the weekend. Provides updates, pictures and is just warm and caring in general. Will definitely book again. Thanks Sandy!”
“Lisa is so incredibly sweet and upbeat and knowledgeable about animals! She was always communicative and was willing to be flexible when my travel was impacted out of my control. My dog Scoobie adores her and loves her house and it’s amazing she has a backyard and plenty of room to play ball with my little one inside! Will be booking again.”
“What can I say about Kristie? She was incredible with my pup. He’s a bit of a finicky boy, and this was his first experience not at a kennel while dad was away. After asking great questions to get an understanding m, we did a meet and greet and Reggie seemed to enjoy, so we went ahead with the booking. Throughout my 7 day trip, I got plenty of updates and pics (peep the gallery). Kristie took the time to get to know the pup, checked in with me to get insights, and tailored her interactions and expectations to match my goober’s needs. 10/10 recommend, and hope to rebook whenever I need a sitter!”
“Beth was amazing with Tucker! I could tell he was in good hands. She sent pictures almost daily to keep me updated. She was very flexible with drop off and pick up times, which was very important to me. Would recommend Beth and will use her again should I need to have Tucker boarded for a long period of time.”
“We can't wait to take Stella back! She loved her stay and I loved the communication and pictures we got! I've already rebooked three additional stays. Our experience could not have been better!”
“Jennifer has been very professional and on the top of everything, including keeping me updated with pictures and sending me timely text updates. Her diligence and communication has been excellent.”
About: We’re big dog people and absolutely believe that pets are family. We have our own dog and have loved caring for the dogs of family and friends over the years. We also use Rover ourselves, so we know how important it is to find someone you genuinely trust to take care of your pet. We want to provide that same feeling of love, care, and peace of mind for other pet parents. Our goal is for your pup to feel happy, comfortable, and right at home while you’re away! 🐾❤️ My husband and I both work full-time, but I’m a teacher, so I have more flexibility during the summer and school breaks. We’re also available most evenings and weekends throughout the year. We love spending time with dogs and are happy to give your pup plenty of attention, playtime, walks, and cuddles. We’ll work with your schedule to make sure your dog gets the care and attention they need while you’re away. We want every pup in our care to feel safe, comfortable, and right at home. We have a fenced-in yard and our own friendly dog who loves having company! We’re happy to keep your pup’s normal routine, whether that means specific feeding times, walks, crate time, or anything else that helps them feel comfortable. We’re also happy to meet beforehand so you and your pup can get to know us and make sure it feels like a good fit. As Rover users ourselves, we know how important it is to have someone you truly trust caring for your pet. Pets are family to us, and we want you to feel that same love and peace of mind while your pup is with us. We’ll keep you updated with lots of pictures along the way, too! 🐶❤️
“Abby is excellent! She communicates quickly and effectively. Our beloved River had a wonderful time and made new friends during her stay. Abby kept us updated with photos and videos. 5 stars! Highly recommend!”

Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.
Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, daily exercise may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Lemoyne home-away-from-home, we recommend packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Lemoyne.
<b>Tip:</b> You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.
You and your Lemoyne sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in OH ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
