About: I have lived with dogs my entire life and I had helped with the puppy stage for two dogs in the last 5 years. My family got a German Shepherd puppy 5 years ago and then we decided he needed a friend so I helped with a new puppy who’s a Beagle just this past fall. I also have had recent jobs where responsibility was a necessity as I was a para educator with special needs kids over the summer. I’m currently a college student so my weekdays are pretty busy with classes and trying to keep up with school work but I could be free on the weekends depending. At home I help with feeding my dogs, one of my dogs has epilepsy so I’m familiar with giving medications, I also help to walk them and love to play with them to help them get their energy out. I have also helped friends and siblings with watching their pets when needed.
About: Since the day I was born I’ve always had a dog around to take care of. He was my entire world, always treated him like my baby. My Grandparents also had two cats that I would take care from time to time. I just moved from Orlando Florida back to Laflin pa where I originally grew up and I’m currently a middle school teacher in Wilkes Barre I unfortunately do not offer boarding but I have no problem hanging out with furry friends in the comfort their own home! I know how hard it is to find a safe place for our fur babies when we have to travel. Our pittie mutt, Hank, can’t wait to meet your pups! I recently retired after 36 years of teaching and have lots of free time to care for your fur babies. We have a large fenced in deck (and pool for our swimmers). Our 12 acres are not fenced but are cleared for easy walks, on or off lead as desired. Our home sits well off the main road. We’re not opposed to taking pups for rides in our side by side. House trained dogs have freedom in our home. We’re suckers who allow pets on furniture and provide all the love and cuddles needed to make them comfortable. We have plenty of room for crates if your pup is more comfortable in one. In your home, I will follow your house rules. Depending on location, I can come and visit or stay overnight. I can bring mail and packages in for you and take care of your plants. 🪴
