About: I provide trusted, in home dog sitting services in a calm cozy environment! I am experienced in administering insulin shots and other basic needs required! I am a stay at home mom and love dogs!! I enjoy their company and treat them as my own with undivided attention! Dog sitting is my job and I love it!! I have a fenced 2 acre yard for lots of playtime, 1 dog of my own, she’s socialized and sweet! Your fur babies are allowed to roam wherever they please!
About: What makes me different from other sitters is that I naturally include training in my time with dogs. Even small things—like impulse control, manners, or minor behavioral habits—can make a big difference, and I love turning training into play. I especially enjoy working with puppies! They’re so smart, curious, and always up for a challenge. With your permission, I can help your pup start off on the right paw. Of course, if your dog just wants playtime and cuddles, I’m more than happy to provide that too. My goal is always to meet your dog’s needs and make sure they feel happy, safe, and loved while in my care. I currently have a very flexible schedule, which means I can give plenty of time and attention to your pets. I’m also available on weekends—so whether you’re heading out for a movie, a night out, or just need some time to relax, I’ll be there to make sure your furry companion is safe, happy, and well cared for. I care for every pet as if they were my own. I pay close attention to body language and always put each dog’s needs first. I do have a 3-year-old son who loves to run around, but he also knows to give dogs their space if they don’t want to play. I also share my home with a 3-year-old chocolate Lab. He’s a very sweet, easygoing boy who does great with puppies, cats, and older dogs. If your dog isn’t comfortable around others or prefers crate time, I’m happy to adjust. I can separate him and do rotational play so that your pup feels safe and cared for.

I currently work from home and have a pretty flexible schedule so i definitely have plenty of down time for your fur babies! I try to take several walks throughout the day with my pups I have a fenced yard. I have crates for my fur babies and i also have an extra medium crate if needed. The pets are free to roam the house and sleep wherever they feel more comfortable.I take my dogs on walks at least 2 times per day

About: I’ve had animals all my life. Dogs, cats, chickens, hamsters, Porcupine, Iguanas and snakes. Id love to put your heart to ease by caring for your family member. I have a flexible schedule. Once you message me, I’ll respond relatively quickly to let you know availability is. Please try to message me at least 24 hours in advance. I would be caring for your pet in my home. I would prefer you bring a kennel or crate. I just need to know exactly what you do at home if there’s any bad habits, a crate pretty much takes care of everything.
“Mr. Jeffrey has taking care of our pup a couple of times now and he is always super respectful and nice. He always answers our messages right away and when we pick up our dog we always find him happy and well taken cared of. We will definitely keep using his services in the near future and recommend him 100%”

About: Hi there! I’m a 35-year-old dog lover with a background in Business Management and over a decade of hands-on experience caring for dogs and cats of all kinds. I’m married to my wonderful husband of 14 years, who proudly serves on active duty in the military. Our family is currently stationed in San Antonio, where we share our home with our loyal German Shepherd, Apache. My passion for dogs began long before Apache—over the past 10 years, I’ve devoted much of my time to rescuing dogs, helping them heal, feel safe, and find loving homes. Along the way, I discovered how much I truly enjoy boarding and caring for pups. Creating a comfortable, structured, and loving environment for every dog who stays with us has become something I take great pride in. Whether you need reliable boarding, dedicated care, or simply someone who treats your dog like family, I’m here to help. Your pup’s safety, happiness, and well-being will always come first with me! I work from home and off on weekends! I can Also take my work with me anywhere so if you’re needing me to drop by a few times a day, staying over, or to watch your animals in the comfort of my home I am completely flexible! Providing a safe, trusting, and healthy environment for animals starts with understanding their needs and creating a space where they feel protected and cared for. Safety comes first I make sure the surroundings are secure, free from hazards, and suited to the animal’s size, temperament, and habits. This can mean checking fences, removing toxic plants or objects, and ensuring they have access to clean water and a comfortable resting area. Building trust is just as important! Animals feel more at ease when they know what to expect, so keeping a calm tone, moving gently, and following consistent routines helps them feel secure around you. Taking time to observe their body language and respecting their boundaries shows them that you’re someone they can rely on. Trust grows when an animal feels heard and never forced.
“Stefanie was very nice. I had an emergency, and Stefanie replied almost 10 minutes after I put the request and I drop off my dog 15 minutes after. she was great!!”

About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life, both personally and professionally. I worked as a small animal veterinary technician for three years, gaining hands-on experience with dogs and cats of all breeds, ages, and personalities. Now as a stay-at-home mom with my own pups — Cooper and Jax — as well as my one year old daughter. I bring that same level of care and attention into our home every day. Living on a small farm with a pig, horses, and cows I have to have patience and consistency, and I treat every pet like part of the family. I’m confident with medications, special needs pets, and making sure each animal feels safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. I’m home all day with my dogs! I make sure to take multiple leashed walks to check the farm animals, giving pups exercise, stimulation, and plenty of attention. While I don’t have a fenced yard, your dog will still get plenty of fresh air and activity! The dog(s) and I go on several leashed walks each day to check on our pig, horses, and cows — it’s a calm, country setting with lots of fun sights and smells for curious pups. All outdoor time is supervised and on-leash, and inside your pet will enjoy a cozy, family-style environment with Cooper and Buck.
“This is our second time using Amy’s service and we are so pleased with her. Our pup ran right inside like he was home which was exciting for me to see. I can tell he’s treated well and he LOVES her pup, T-Rex. They can play all day. 😄”

Mondays and Wednesdays I got to college for 4 hours that day. I walk dogs every 3 hours. If a dog has high energy I don’t mind long walks. I usually always walk dogs every 3 hours during day, every 4 hours at night and feed 2 meals per day (although I can work with any preferred schedule). About: “What sets me apart is the genuine love and patience I bring to every pet I care for. I’ve been a cat mom since 2021, so I understand the importance of routines, comfort, and gentle attention. My husband Daniel (registered Rover sitter) and I also had the opportunity to care for an older dog who struggled with body pain, which taught me how important it is to be patient, compassionate, and attentive to special needs. I know how much peace of mind it brings when you can trust someone with your furry family, and I promise to treat your pet with the same love and kindness I give my own.” “I’m a full-time mom, which means I have plenty of time to devote to caring for pets. My little one is curious, careful, and respectful around animals, and our home is full of love for furry friends. Whether we see them every day or just occasionally, there’s always space in our hearts (and home) for another pet — we can never have enough love to give! In addition, my husband Daniel and I are both registered Rover sitters. We share the responsibility of pet care and are passionate animal lovers. With us, your pets will always be supervised, safe, and surrounded by love.” “When pets stay with us, they are part of our family. I provide love, comfort, and attention, following their routines and making sure they feel safe and happy. My home is full of care, cuddles, and playtime, and I always keep pet parents updated with messages and photos.”
About: Hello there! I'm Daniel. My love for animals began as far back as I can remember, and I’ve dedicated my life to caring for them—from dogs and cats to smaller pets and even insects. With 15 years of experience, I'm currently studying canine and feline ethology. I can offer basic grooming too (extra service) and am certified in pet CPR. My wife is also an approved caregiver, so your pet gets twice the love for the price of one. I'm glad to be here for you, as a helping and trusted hand! I work Monday through Friday, but I’m available after 2:30pm every weekday. On Saturdays and Sundays, I’m fully available. Overnights aren’t a problem either — there is always somebody at home and can handle morning meetings, so your pets are cared for around the clock! In our home, pets are treated like family. We’ve got two friendly cats who are used to visitors, a pet playground in our community, and a cozy balcony set up with water, toys, and a fan so they can relax. My wife, my son, and I all share the care — my wife has a natural love for animals, and even my homeschooled son has learned empathy and responsibility through caring for them. When I care for pets in a client’s home, I follow their routine closely — feeding, walks, playtime, and cuddles — just the way y’all would do it yourselves. My goal is always to make pets feel safe, loved, and at home, whether they’re staying with us or I’m looking after them in their own space.
About: My home is a purrfect safe haven for the highest energy felines to the cat-atonic chunkers. My home is also a great choice for small to medium dogs that enjoy endless attention from young kids. As a stay at home mom my schedule is very open, I'm willing to work around your needs to ensure both you and your fur baby are happy. I have a seperate room for pets that prefer to be alone, extra toys and beds. As well as a fenced yard and walking paths just outside my back door. I love all animals and guarantee they will be spoiled and loved in my care. Whether that be for a drop in visit, a walk around the park, or an overnight stay. Let me know if you have any questions! I would love to go over your pets needs and get them scheduled in for their next vacation.

Frequently asked questions about Rover
As of July 2026, there are 677 sitters on Rover offering Doggy Day Care across Leming. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Leming commute.
If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in TX ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, Rover is well-suited for finding sitters who can care for your pet within 24 hours. With 677 sitters in Leming, 89% respond to messages in under an hour.
You can message multiple sitters simultaneously to find the fastest available match. If you need care today or tomorrow, you can look for sitters with a "calendar last updated" notice on their profiles.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
