“Heather was great! She seems to know dog very well on top of being an animal lover. She was the 1st person I have worked with on rover, since I am a new customer, she alone makes me want to use this company again knowing the care my dogs got when they were with her. On top of the excellent care, she was also very flexible with the me and my needs. My roof was going to be installed and that’s why I scheduled to board my dogs for the night. Sure enough, it ended up being a rain day and the roofers always schedule it for the next day. Heather was very understanding and accommodating and helped me through the process of cancelling and rescheduling. On top of that, she also provides the service to pick up and drop off dogs, if wanted, which really helped me since my son was sleeping and could still sleep in. I would recommend her to anyone as long as I don’t need her at that time, just kidding. For real though, she represented the company very well and I would trust any of the caretakers at this place.”

About: Hi my name is Yee Lam but everyone calls me Suki. I grew up with dogs and am a dog lover. I had a beloved toy poodle named Seven for 15 years, who was truly the best dog and a cherished member of our family. I’m a full-time mom, and when my son (9) and daughter (7) are in school, I have plenty of free time to care for pets—playing with them, feeding them, and giving them all the attention they need. My kids love dogs too, and I think this is a wonderful way for them to learn the joys and responsibilities of having a puppy. I’m available for boarding on weekends and most weekdays after 9 a.m. We have a spacious yard for safe outdoor play, and our neighborhood is calm, family-friendly, and right next to a school, with no major roads nearby, so you can feel at ease knowing your dog will be safe on our walks.

“Amber was amazing! Her and her family helped take great care of my 3 month old pup for a few days while we were in the process of moving. She was super accommodating and helpful, taking him in just hours after us contacting her very last minute while stressed trying to figure out what to do with him. Taking in his “puppy shenanigans” and all like he was one of her own. Amber made sure to keep me updated about how his was doing helping to ease my mind of having him away from home for the first time. Sending me pictures/videos and messages about how his day was going. She also took the time to make sure that my pup was comfortable and entertained. Taking him on walks and being able to run around and play in the yard. Letting him go at his own pace and doing what made him feel safe when he didn’t like the rain or was was scared by her dog at first (he wasn’t the biggest one around anymore and couldn’t terrorize/annoy every living thing like he normally likes to do). She even went the extra mile to wash his bed after an accident over night and have him and all of his stuff packed up nicely and ready to go for me when I got there. My little boy loved playing with her and her family. And having the other dogs around for him to interact with was a bonus. When I tell you he was so excited when he first met them that I didn’t even get a second look over the shoulder or a goodbye before he took off to play with one of the kids ? (I’m still emotionally processing his betrayal ?). I could not recommend Amber enough! Your pet will be greatly taken care of (Not to mention worn out….he’s been napping since the moment we put him in the car) and all of your worries will fade the moment you get there.”

“Sophia was a Christmas blessing! This was the perfect stay for our very energetic young dog, Noah. They were very welcoming and it was like Noah became part of their family for Christmas. It was a comfort to know that she was conscious and responsive to Noah’s wellbeing and quirks. He got along great with the two household dogs and loved being with her kids. Although he did not get along with the rabbits, Sophia was accommodating by keeping the rabbits in a separate room. We also really enjoyed the frequent pictures and video updates. Because we were traveling and not certain of our arrival Sophia was able to stay flexible and work with us on our drop off/pick up. We would definitely recommend her and her family.”
