“Our 9 month old Golden Retriever puppy had such a good time at David's house that she didn't want to leave! I could tell she had lots of active play time because it takes a lot to wear her out, and she was really tired when we got home. I appreciate David's flexibility with drop off and pick up times, the special attention he gave our puppy, and the pictures that he shared throughout the day. David's location is an easy drive, a few miles off the highway, and the perfect setting for dogs to play and explore. I'm a worrier by nature, but I felt very comfortable leaving my sweet pup with David. We hope to take our puppy to David's house again the next time we leave town!”

“Amber was amazing! Her and her family helped take great care of my 3 month old pup for a few days while we were in the process of moving. She was super accommodating and helpful, taking him in just hours after us contacting her very last minute while stressed trying to figure out what to do with him. Taking in his “puppy shenanigans” and all like he was one of her own. Amber made sure to keep me updated about how his was doing helping to ease my mind of having him away from home for the first time. Sending me pictures/videos and messages about how his day was going. She also took the time to make sure that my pup was comfortable and entertained. Taking him on walks and being able to run around and play in the yard. Letting him go at his own pace and doing what made him feel safe when he didn’t like the rain or was was scared by her dog at first (he wasn’t the biggest one around anymore and couldn’t terrorize/annoy every living thing like he normally likes to do). She even went the extra mile to wash his bed after an accident over night and have him and all of his stuff packed up nicely and ready to go for me when I got there. My little boy loved playing with her and her family. And having the other dogs around for him to interact with was a bonus. When I tell you he was so excited when he first met them that I didn’t even get a second look over the shoulder or a goodbye before he took off to play with one of the kids ? (I’m still emotionally processing his betrayal ?). I could not recommend Amber enough! Your pet will be greatly taken care of (Not to mention worn out….he’s been napping since the moment we put him in the car) and all of your worries will fade the moment you get there.”

About: Grew up with dogs and cats my whole life. Started pet and house sitting in my early teen years for dogs of all shapes and sizes as well as cats, fish and turtles. Additionally, I have a degree in animal and dairy science and spent half a year as a veterinary assistant at a clinic. I work a full- time job that is typically 8am-4:30pm with some earlier mornings and nights as needed. But schedule can be somewhat flexible to fit your needs! I’d love to care for whatever your pet needs, walking, playing, feeding or just spend some time with them. About: I have been around pets my whole life. Whether it was my family pet or a friend's I've grown up around dogs my whole life. Being allergic to cats, dogs were my only option. I currently have trained my own pup from the age of 7 1/2 weeks till now as well as helped friends in the past with their own dogs. So I am fairly proficient at training pups. I unfortunately don't have much experience with senior dogs but I would love to expand my skills. I am currently a stay at home mom to a wonderful 1 year old little girl. So short of errands I am always at home. Perfect for pets who cant be left alone for long periods of time. Our home has a very nice unfenced in yard. We do have long leads that will be utilized for bathroom breaks and outdoor play time. We also live about a mile from a very nice open dog park that with permission will be the perfect place for high energy running. All dogs will be supervised while outside and will also have my two pups to play with as well. Toys will also be available for all to play with. Kennels will be utilized when needed (kennels will need to be provided by the pet parents)
About: Although new to Rover as a sitter, we've used Rover frequently for our boys. I've had pets (cats, dogs, fish) ever since I was 14. I don't have special certs but have done puppy classes and have successfully trained our dogs since! One being a Shiba Inu if you know how stubborn they are 😉. I currently have two bernese mountain dogs and love furry friends from small to extra large! I've done drop ins and in home in the past. Im currently mostly a SAHM! I am a RN but only work 16hrs a month. I will have ample time to be at home with all pets. I have a fenced yard (6ft chain linked) and two neutered boys to keep your pets company. About: Hello I have been taking care of all sorts of pets since I was very young! I have experience with potty training, crate training, walking, and lots of play time. I also can give any puppers bath if need be. I also have experience with cats and many other small animals. I am free all week as I stay home with my 4 kiddos. I have 2 young kids that are 2 and 3 years old and my other 2 are 9 and 12. I always make sure that my pets and anyone else's pets are fed at a certain time, made sure they get their walks and exercise, but also make sure they get their cuddle time as well. About: I have grown up around dogs my whole life and I've had my first (adult life) dog for three and a half year. Wila Rose is an Australian Cattle Dog mix. About a year and a half ago we added another rescue, Buckley Quinn. He is a smart but goofy boy. They both go backpacking with us and we do a lot of hiking on our local public land areas. We enjoy playing around in our yard with our limited dog agility set and learning new tricks. We occasionally go swimming but love jumping and exploring new water areas and hiking trails. Wila and Buckley are a huge part of my life. We enjoy hiking, being outdoor, and traveling as much as possible. We do quite a but of training included but not limited to: agility, scent training, shed training, and just some fun party tricks. I had a beloved toy poodle named Seven for 15 years, who was truly the best dog and a cherished member of our family. I’m a full-time mom, and when my son (9) and daughter (7) are in school, I have plenty of free time to care for pets—playing with them, feeding them, and giving them all the attention they need. The pups were comfortable to walk away from us with her which says a lot. She cleared the hike in advance and kept in touch with us. The boys were happy and mellow when we met to pick them and she was very understanding about their sometimes car sickness. About: Agnes Mable, my dachshund of 12 years taught me patience better than anyone. I love spending time cuddling, giving belly rubs, sniffling frito feet, & running around the yard chasing them like a screaming banshee. I have always loved being around animals, especially dogs, and find that having them brings such happiness to life. The boys and I are together daily. I currently work typically Mondays thru Fridays sometimes varied or longer hours. However, we always make time to go for a walk daily, and on the weekends typically are out exploring. Hunter gets meds twice a day in a pill supplement as well as I trim their nails and baths occasionally. I currently rent a duplex that has a fenced backyard, and also have a spare bedroom and wire kennel if needed. Typically my dogs free roam during the day, and are good to be alone overnight or up to 10hrs which can allow me to spend time with your furry friend.

About: I’m a huge dog lover and I’m living in a non pet friendly apartment so I need some puppy time. I love the outdoors, so getting your dog outside is the best of both worlds for me. I also love running and would be happy to run your dog if you’d prefer that. I walked my neighbors dogs in high school and I’ve had dogs all my life. I work full time so I’m really looking for weekend gigs, but I’m also free most weekdays after 4:15. I have over 5 years of experience with dogs of my own. I spend lots of time taking them on walks and hikes. I have experience to care for your senior pups and administering medication, as well. My favorite thing to is walk dogs and I can work with your pup on leash manners. I am also open to working with aggressive and/or reactive dogs. Can't wait to meet some new furry friends! I work a full time job about 30 hours a week. I am looking to walk/sit your pets in the evenings and some weekday/weekend availability depending on my hours. I am also open to holiday care. I won't be offering care in my home, but I will carefully follow all of the care instructions for your pups and cats and be sure to send you updates on the visits/walks.

About: I’ve been house sitting and dog sitting since high school! My experience ranges from puppies to older adult dogs. Because of my schedule, I can be flexible with most requests. I do work 12 hour days, so please keep that in mind if you are needing extended visiting times. I am a nurse, so my schedule is ever changing. I will work around my days off to best accommodate drop in visits and walks. I care for pets by making sure they are safe, comfortable, and well taken care of while their owners are away. I provide fresh food and water, give medications if needed, clean potty areas, provide walks and playtime, and give plenty of attention and affection. About: I have helped my family take care of our pets almost my whole life! Since moving out I’ve had my own pets (cats and dogs). I understand the importance of giving your pet attention while you’re gone, since they could be stressed with the change in routine! I’m a farm girl at heart! About: Growing up I had cats and dogs; it was all I knew :) At a very young age a learned to care for these animals. Now I am going to school for animals scone to further my education in all animals! I work full time Monday-Friday. I am available anytime after 6pm. Weekends I am very free. If I am stay overnight on a week days I’ll be gone for only 4 hours at a time. If close to my job I can stop by during my break! For boarding I have a very spacious home with lots of backyard room; a long leash if need. My previous dog required lots of medical care and I am a human nurse so I am very comfortable providing any care your dog needs. I do have one dog at home who loves other dogs and loves to play as well as a cat who is dog friendly (for shorter stays she can be kept in a spare bedroom)My days off of work are fully open and I do not book more than 1 dog at a time, so your dog will have all my attention. I will send lots of pictures and updates as I understand it can be anxiety provoking to trust your dog with someone new! I do work full time, but only 3 days a week. This schedule varies week to week so while I don’t have a consistent schedule, my days off work can be fully devoted to you and your pet! On days I do work I am available for early morning or late evening drop ins The back part of my yard is fenced in so your dog will have lots of room to run around and explore. There’s also plenty of shade to keep them cool! I do live by a park and a small walking trail so I there are lots of ways for us to get our exercise in! If I am walking a dog in your home, I am flexible and accommodating and am comfortable using whatever methods/tools you prefer to keep your dog safe.

I've worked professionally with pets as well, such as pet dental hygienist assistant, pet store associate and birthday party tour guide, and Chewy supervisor. I could tell she had lots of active play time because it takes a lot to wear her out, and she was really tired when we got home. I appreciate David's flexibility with drop off and pick up times, the special attention he gave our puppy, and the pictures that he shared throughout the day. David's location is an easy drive, a few miles off the highway, and the perfect setting for dogs to play and explore. I'm a worrier by nature, but I felt very comfortable leaving my sweet pup with David. We hope to take our puppy to David's house again the next time we leave town!”

“Amber was amazing! Her and her family helped take great care of my 3 month old pup for a few days while we were in the process of moving. She was super accommodating and helpful, taking him in just hours after us contacting her very last minute while stressed trying to figure out what to do with him. Taking in his “puppy shenanigans” and all like he was one of her own. Amber made sure to keep me updated about how his was doing helping to ease my mind of having him away from home for the first time. Sending me pictures/videos and messages about how his day was going. She also took the time to make sure that my pup was comfortable and entertained. Taking him on walks and being able to run around and play in the yard. Letting him go at his own pace and doing what made him feel safe when he didn’t like the rain or was was scared by her dog at first (he wasn’t the biggest one around anymore and couldn’t terrorize/annoy every living thing like he normally likes to do). She even went the extra mile to wash his bed after an accident over night and have him and all of his stuff packed up nicely and ready to go for me when I got there. My little boy loved playing with her and her family. And having the other dogs around for him to interact with was a bonus. When I tell you he was so excited when he first met them that I didn’t even get a second look over the shoulder or a goodbye before he took off to play with one of the kids ? (I’m still emotionally processing his betrayal ?). I could not recommend Amber enough! Your pet will be greatly taken care of (Not to mention worn out….he’s been napping since the moment we put him in the car) and all of your worries will fade the moment you get there.”
