She was super accommodating and helpful, taking him in just hours after us contacting her very last minute while stressed trying to figure out what to do with him. Taking in his “puppy shenanigans” and all like he was one of her own. Amber made sure to keep me updated about how his was doing helping to ease my mind of having him away from home for the first time. Sending me pictures/videos and messages about how his day was going. She also took the time to make sure that my pup was comfortable and entertained. Taking him on walks and being able to run around and play in the yard. Letting him go at his own pace and doing what made him feel safe when he didn’t like the rain or was was scared by her dog at first (he wasn’t the biggest one around anymore and couldn’t terrorize/annoy every living thing like he normally likes to do). She even went the extra mile to wash his bed after an accident over night and have him and all of his stuff packed up nicely and ready to go for me when I got there. My little boy loved playing with her and her family. And having the other dogs around for him to interact with was a bonus. When I tell you he was so excited when he first met them that I didn’t even get a second look over the shoulder or a goodbye before he took off to play with one of the kids ? (I’m still emotionally processing his betrayal ?). I could not recommend Amber enough! Your pet will be greatly taken care of (Not to mention worn out….he’s been napping since the moment we put him in the car) and all of your worries will fade the moment you get there.”
About: I am a huge dog lover. I love all kinds of dogs and have grown up with all different kinds of dogs of varying size and temperment. My family has had 2 havanese dogs and 2 newfoundlands so I have experience with a variety of sizes. Recently, I lost my soul dog, Max. Max was a shepherd mix and was my whole world. My husband and I had Max since he was a puppy and are looking to get our dog fix by helping out others. We understand the stress finding care for your dog can create, and we would love to help provide a safe and fun environment for your dog when you need it. We have a large yard (unfenced) and safe neighborhood for walks. We also have 2 children, aged 5 and 3. I am a stay at home mom, so I am available most of the time from home any given week. My family and I recently just lost our fifteen year old dog Lucky due to old age, and that was hard for me. Through Lucky’s last years we gave him insulin twice a day, meaning I am very experienced in giving medicine to dogs. Im currently in school, so I usually walk my dog when I get home from school, and feed him dinner. On the weekends we take him for lots of hikes. School gets out in June, and I will be completely available after that, but currently I could only help on weekends and after 4pm on weekdays. I have a fenced yard with a five year old medium sized dog named Ferris, who just lost our older dog Lucky, and is missing his best friend, meaning he would love a playmate! About: I have grown up around dogs my whole life and I've had my first (adult life) dog for three and a half year. Wila Rose is an Australian Cattle Dog mix. About a year and a half ago we added another rescue, Buckley Quinn. He is a smart but goofy boy. They both go backpacking with us and we do a lot of hiking on our local public land areas. We enjoy playing around in our yard with our limited dog agility set and learning new tricks. We occasionally go swimming but love jumping and exploring new water areas and hiking trails. Wila and Buckley are a huge part of my life. We enjoy hiking, being outdoor, and traveling as much as possible. We do quite a but of training included but not limited to: agility, scent training, shed training, and just some fun party tricks. I am new to Rover so please feel free to reach out with any questions. I have an acre of land (not fenced in). We love to go on walks and sniffaris at our local parks. Buckley loved to play with other dogs and Wila is more of a people dog. They even loves to go backpacking and hiking which often include 10+ miles a day.

I also can give any puppers bath if need be. I also have experience with cats and many other small animals. I am free all week as I stay home with my 4 kiddos. I grew up with a German Shepherd, a purebred Samoyed, and a tabby cat. Currently, I have 2 beagle-shepherd mixes, Hunter and Holmes, who are 2 of the sweetest boys you will meet. We are often outdoors taking our daily walk, hiking local state parks, camping, or just working in the yard. I have always loved being around animals, especially dogs, and find that having them brings such happiness to life. The boys and I are together daily. I currently work typically Mondays thru Fridays sometimes varied or longer hours. However, we always make time to go for a walk daily, and on the weekends typically are out exploring. Hunter gets meds twice a day in a pill supplement as well as I trim their nails and baths occasionally. I currently rent a duplex that has a fenced backyard, and also have a spare bedroom and wire kennel if needed. Typically my dogs free roam during the day, and are good to be alone overnight or up to 10hrs which can allow me to spend time with your furry friend.

About: I have always had a dog in my like and have been the sole provider for at least a year in each dogs life that I have had. My dog I have now is almost two years old and I have also dog sat for neighbors, friends, and coworkers numerous times. I am currently working and taking classes from home so I have more than enough time to watch the puppies and give them the attention and help that they need. If I pet sit at your home I will do things in whatever way you request and I will do my best to follow directions to a T. I live in an apartment complex so if they stay the night I will have to take them out on a leash. But regardless of where I am I will try to follow your instructions as well as call and text with any questions whether they be big or small.

About: Had cats all my life and dogs for last 12 years. Animals have a sixth sense about people and I'm one of those they seek out for rubs, cuddles, playtime, snacks and love... I'm not currently working so I'm available for any time through the remainder of this April within 30 miles of my town. Once I'm working full time again I will be available evenings closer to home and all times on the weekends. I'm also available for overnights at your location and can leave for work from anywhere. I follow direction very well so just leave me with a detailed note on how things run and I’ll keep it as consistent as possible for your pet!

About: I have taken care of pets for a majority of my life. Friends, family, and neighbors have relied on me to walk, care for, and play with their pets in many instances. Growing up I also owned my own dog that I would care for. Spending time with animals brings me joy and I treat them all with endless love! My dog I have now is almost two years old and I have also dog sat for neighbors, friends, and coworkers numerous times. I live in an apartment complex so if they stay the night I will have to take them out on a leash. She was super accommodating and helpful, taking him in just hours after us contacting her very last minute while stressed trying to figure out what to do with him. Taking in his “puppy shenanigans” and all like he was one of her own. Amber made sure to keep me updated about how his was doing helping to ease my mind of having him away from home for the first time. Sending me pictures/videos and messages about how his day was going. She also took the time to make sure that my pup was comfortable and entertained. Taking him on walks and being able to run around and play in the yard. Letting him go at his own pace and doing what made him feel safe when he didn’t like the rain or was was scared by her dog at first (he wasn’t the biggest one around anymore and couldn’t terrorize/annoy every living thing like he normally likes to do). She even went the extra mile to wash his bed after an accident over night and have him and all of his stuff packed up nicely and ready to go for me when I got there. My little boy loved playing with her and her family. And having the other dogs around for him to interact with was a bonus. When I tell you he was so excited when he first met them that I didn’t even get a second look over the shoulder or a goodbye before he took off to play with one of the kids ? (I’m still emotionally processing his betrayal ?). I could not recommend Amber enough! Your pet will be greatly taken care of (Not to mention worn out….he’s been napping since the moment we put him in the car) and all of your worries will fade the moment you get there.”

About: I am a huge dog lover. I love all kinds of dogs and have grown up with all different kinds of dogs of varying size and temperment. My family has had 2 havanese dogs and 2 newfoundlands so I have experience with a variety of sizes. Recently, I lost my soul dog, Max. Max was a shepherd mix and was my whole world. My husband and I had Max since he was a puppy and are looking to get our dog fix by helping out others. We understand the stress finding care for your dog can create, and we would love to help provide a safe and fun environment for your dog when you need it. We have a large yard (unfenced) and safe neighborhood for walks. We also have 2 children, aged 5 and 3. I am a stay at home mom, so I am available most of the time from home any given week. I have 2 children, aged 5 and 3, and they would love to help care for and love on a doggy. I have a large, unfenced yard in a quiet, safe, and dog friendly neighborhood. Our dog Max was always free to run around the yard without any issues. Dogs are allowed inside, on our furniture and I still have Max’s dog bed for use as well. I am also happy to pop in by your house to walk your dog if that’s needed.
