About: About Ross I recently retired from the Navy and now live with my wife on 9 peaceful acres, just about a mile and a half off Highway 50 near Powell Gardens. It’s just the two of us here—no kids, no pets at the moment, aside from two laid-back turtles. We’ve had dogs in the past and loved every minute, but after moving frequently, we decided to hold off for now. That said, we’d love to show care and attention to your dog as if they were our own. Since I’m fully retired, I’m home throughout the day. I usually go for a daily walk for exercise, which works perfectly if your pup enjoys a good stroll. Our ranch-style home has pet-friendly vinyl floors and tons of open space to explore. While we don’t have a fenced yard, there’s plenty of room to roam—just let me know if your dog needs to stay on a leash and I’ll make sure to accommodate that. A Quick Note About Your Dog Please feel free to share any special needs, preferences, or routines your dog might have. And of course, if you have any questions at all, don’t hesitate to reach out. I’m genuinely excited to meet your doggo! I am fully retired so I can be home all day. Typically, I exercise with a walk so that would work with the dog as well. I have a large ranch style home with pet friendly vinyl floors. In plenty of land for dogs to run around I do not have a fenced in area so if your dog needs to be on a leash that is fine I just need to know.

“She’s a very nice person and took care of our two month old puppy. Even when she wasn’t going to be in town she took him with her and still kept him and sent cute pics!!”

About: I have a variety of experience with animals. I am happy to work with them. They truly are my therapy. I may not be the best people person, but I will become your pets new best friend! From dog shows, 6 years of rescue work, to starting my own pet boarding and sitting service! I have been taking care of and working with animals for much of my life. I work from home almost daily, but if I did have a life…there is always someone to help care for your pet until I return and both of my daughters have been helping me foster and find homes for all of my rescues. They both know proper ways to treat animals while they are with us. I do have a very big home with lots of space, enclosed front porch area, big property with acreage, fenced-in areas as well as not. I do rotations If I am unable to supervise pets together or if one isn't so friendly, allowing turns for each dog to be outside, in the home, and even sleep in my bed! I am familiar and trained in giving animal introductions so that your pet may play with others, unless you prefer otherwise.

I’m a middle school music teacher, meaning I have a wide open schedule all summer! I’m a teacher, meaning I have the summers off! I’m available to care for your pets while you’re on a summer vacation or if you just need someone to take your dog for a walk while you’re at work. During the summer, I have a very open availability schedule. I have three pets in my home, 2 cats and 1 dog. I am a very astute pet parent, always making sure the areas around the house are clean and safe for them. I take my dog, Percy, on walks often. About: What sets me apart from other sitters is a combination of extensive experience, unwavering passion for animals, and a deep sense of responsibility. With a background in working at a doggy day care for a year, I have gained invaluable knowledge and hands-on experience in handling various breeds and temperaments. From my earliest days, I have been surrounded by pets, ranging from hermit crabs to dogs, which has fostered a deep appreciation for the unique needs and personalities of different animals. This exposure has made me highly adaptable, understanding the diverse requirements of each pet entrusted to my care. What truly sets me apart is my genuine love for animals. It is a love that goes beyond a profession or hobby; it is a core part of who I am. The joy and fulfillment I experience when caring for pets is unparalleled, and I treat each animal as if they were my own beloved chihuahua, Bella. Responsibility is a trait I hold in the highest regard. As someone who has been pet sitting for neighbors and friends since the age of 10, I understand the weight of the responsibility placed on me when entrusted with the well-being of someone's beloved pet. I take this responsibility seriously and prioritize the safety, comfort, and happiness of the animals under my care above all else. By choosing me as your pet sitter, you can expect a level of dedication, reliability, and attention to detail that goes beyond the ordinary. Your pets will receive the highest quality of care, tailored to their individual needs and preferences. With me, you can have peace of mind, knowing that your furry family members are in capable and loving hands. I have two part time jobs and the hours on both are minimal. My schedule is flexible and provides plenty of time for your pets! When caring for pets in my client's home, I prioritize creating a comfortable and stress-free environment that mirrors the familiarity of their own home. I understand that pets thrive when they are in a space they know and love, and my goal is to ensure they feel safe, secure, and happy while their owners are away. To provide exceptional care in my client's home, I follow a comprehensive approach that encompasses the following: Initial Consultation: Before the pet-sitting period begins, I schedule an initial consultation with the pet owners to discuss their specific needs, routines, and any special requirements their pets may have. This allows me to gather essential information and create a personalized care plan. Maintaining Routine: Consistency is key when it comes to pet care. I strive to maintain the pets' regular routines as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, exercise routines, and playtime activities. This helps minimize any disruption to their daily lives and keeps them feeling comfortable and at ease. Creating a Safe Environment: I pay meticulous attention to ensuring a safe environment for the pets in their own home. This includes removing any potential hazards, securing doors and gates, and keeping toxic substances out of reach. I also double-check that all necessary supplies, such as food, water, litter boxes, or toys, are readily available and well-maintained. Lots of Love and Affection: Pets need not only physical care but also emotional support. I provide ample love, attention, and affection to create a nurturing environment for the pets. Regular cuddles, playtime, and gentle interactions help them feel valued and loved in the absence of their owners. Communication and Updates: Open and transparent communication is essential. I provide regular updates to the pet owners, including photos and messages, to keep them informed about their furry companions' well-being and activities. This helps reassure owners that their pets are in good hands and allows them to stay connected even from a distance. Cleanliness and Hygiene: Maintaining cleanliness is crucial to the well-being of both pets and their owners. I am diligent about cleaning up after the pets, including regular litter box maintenance, waste disposal, and sanitizing food and water bowls. I also ensure the home remains tidy and organized throughout the pet-sitting period.

“She is great with pets she has a cat and dog of her own and sisters that always have her dogsitting while they go on vacation and all of the dogs love her. She is also meticulous about cleaning up after the dogs and constantly cleans up dog hair and messes they make. She would be great at this but I myself as her father wouldn't want her dealing with animals that might have a bad temperament so I'll say that much”
