I have experience in giving pups medication, grooming, identifying illnesses, and body language thanks to my last job at a doggy daycare! I've been around and cared for dogs of all shapes and sizes! I understand how important your furry family members are and will make sure they have everything they need (and make sure they have tons of fun of course!) I have experience with cats as well, having one of my own and taking care of our local strays. :) I have also owned many fish and am comfortable with any other pets you may have! About: I bring years of hands-on experience working with dogs of all ages, from playful puppies to gentle seniors. I’m confident with administering medication, leash training, and reading dog body language to keep your pet safe and happy. My calm demeanor and structured routine help pets feel at home—even when you’re away. Fortunately, in addition to care, I work closely with military trained dog handlers, live 5 minutes away from a vet, and live 2 minutes away from a park for all of your animal needs! I currently work a full time job, however it is flexible. I live 3 minutes away so I am able to check on any animal that may be staying with me every couple of hours. I have a fenced in yard so that the fur babies are able to run and play outside. In addition to the furniture that they are allowed on, I have dog beds in every single room of the house, as well as a massive cat tower in the living room that the cats can lounge in.

About: I’ve been caring for dogs and cats since I was a young child. Growing up, my family always had multiple dogs and cats. I grew up learning how to take care of them anytime my parents were out of town. I have experience taking care of dogs of all types, from young to old, and from big to small. I’m a middle school music teacher, meaning I have a wide open schedule all summer! I’m a teacher, meaning I have the summers off! I’m available to care for your pets while you’re on a summer vacation or if you just need someone to take your dog for a walk while you’re at work. During the summer, I have a very open availability schedule. I have three pets in my home, 2 cats and 1 dog. I am a very astute pet parent, always making sure the areas around the house are clean and safe for them. I take my dog, Percy, on walks often. I am very comfortable taking dogs on walks, crating them if they need to be, and playing with them so they don’t get bored at home.

Actually Rosie was the best dog we have ever had, very smart, disciplined and obedient. The other was a Basenji, Baroo who was not so much. He also had to take medication for a seizure disorder. Kayla was excellent with them and they would get excited when they saw her. She would dog sit and house sit for a couple weeks at a time while we were on vacation. We knew they were very well cared for and loved. Kayla is very responsible and loved the dogs as if they were her own. The only regret that we have is that she moved away and we can no longer have her to love and care for the dogs.”
