“Great as always! My dog clearly loves Gianna which is saying a lot because she typically takes awhile to warm up to new people and she liked Gianna from the first visit!”

About: Ive taken care of many animals. Ive raised one of my dogs since a puppy and It was very easy, I dont think taking care of dogs is hard. I do my best to keep the animal happy! Ive had a lot of animals in my life that I would take care of. Me and my husband would watch his grandparents dog when they went on trips. We would make sure we did EVERYTHING they asked us to do and also keep the dog company such as play with her. Trust me the grandma was very strict on what she wanted us to do for her dog and we satisfied her needs. Anything you would ask me to do I will do everything you need me to do. Such as Feeding,Showering,Taking it out to potty, cleaning up the poop and the most important thing of all PLAY WITH THEM! I also, try to teach them to shake or sit, just the basics. Then i’ll give them a treat for their good listening/behaviors.Now I know its not “professional” work but I consider it as experience. I love animals so much! I want to become a veterinarian when I start going into college. Its my passion to keep pets safe and happy. I currently JUST moved to Washington in August 2024, and I had a job at Amazon but it was seasonal so I’m currently unemployed, so I have all the time in the world. I have a fenced backyard and it’s plenty of space for the doggy to exercise by running around and just having fun with my black Labrador. I take my girl on walks when it’s sunny so she can stretch her legs and get a mini exercise. I make sure she is on a potty schedule, so basically every 2-3 hours she goes outside.

About: I have extensive experience in pet care, having worked with a variety of animals, from dogs and cats to small mammals and birds. As a certified foster caregiver for the Hawaiian Humane Society, I have had the privilege of providing temporary care for pets in need, including those with special medical or behavioral needs. I am skilled in administering medications, following dietary requirements, and providing regular exercise and playtime to keep pets healthy and engaged. My approach is centered around building trust and offering individualized care tailored to each pet’s unique needs. Whether it's walking dogs, offering companionship, or managing specific care requirements, I am committed to ensuring pets feel safe, loved, and well-cared for in their owners' absence. As a stay-at-home mom with middle school-aged kids, I have flexible availability to care for your pets throughout the week. My schedule allows me to provide consistent, personalized care for your pets, whether it’s daily walks, feeding, or overnight stays. I understand the importance of routine and can ensure your pets receive the attention and care they deserve in a loving and reliable environment. Whether you need daytime visits or extended care, I’m here to accommodate your pet’s needs with dedication and flexibility. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I live in a gated neighborhood in a rural area on a half-acre, fenced lot, providing plenty of safe space for outdoor play and exploration. When your furry friend is boarded with me, they can enjoy a secure and spacious environment. I also offer regular updates, including photos, when I come to your home for walks and pick-ups. In addition to my experience with other animals, I have a dog and a cat who are well-socialized and have traveled across the country from Hawaii to New York and back to Washington State, ensuring they’re comfortable around new pets. You can trust that your pets are in caring, experienced hands.

“Leyna was an absolute lifesaver last minute! Her dedication and expertise shine through every time. Not only has she been an excellent caregiver, but she has also gone above and beyond to shower our babies with love and attention as if they're her own. Her reliability and genuine affection for animals are qualities that truly sets her apart. I can't thank her enough for providing the peace of mind while I'm on work trips around the globe. If you're searching for a sitter who goes above and beyond, she is your best bet!”

About: I have been caring for dogs, cats, chickens, and bunnies for at least 8 years. I’ve cared for puppies all the way to seniors and understand that all dogs have unique needs. I’m happy to play, give treats, cuddle and go on walks, administer medications and any other possible care the dog may need. I currently work part time and go to college but I have lots of available time to care for dogs. I’m usually available 1:00pm-8:00pm except for Wednesday and occasionally Thursday's. I also have time on Saturdays and am willing to make accommodations if needed. I understand that new people can be scary for some dogs while others love them. I focus on ensuring the dog feels safe and trusting before anything. I offer treats, play time, and just quiet time while the dog checks the situation. I act only on how the dog reacts and don’t push them but instead allow them time to process the change.

“Our dogs were super happy being tended to by Brianna. She’s very reliable and communicated with us on every visit which we appreciate so much. We loved getting pictures and updates. We would highly recommend her to care for your fur baby.”

About: Treat your pets like they're my own pets, and I love your pets as they where my own pets too. My pet care experience would help my family take of their pets and working in the veterinary field. I also have a certificate in veterinary assistant. My available days will be on weekends I have skills of doing nails and your pets anla glands if your pets need them done. Another skill I have I can teach your pet how to sit, lay down also stay. I also will make sure that your pet is happy while you are not home. I will play with your pet and I will take your pets on long walks. Make they are ready for bed when you get home so you can rest easy. I am a full time mom looking for something to do on the weekends to help people with their pets. And to show my children how to care for other people pets. I take care of my pets like my own kids. As well making sure they are properly cared for and safe. Always making sure I see happy tails wagging around.

About: I grew up with many family pets (cats, dogs, barnyard, etc.), so when friends or family left town they would ask me to watch their animals. As an adult friends still think of me to care of their pets. I’ve just checked in on (a meal and potty break) to full pet sitting for weeks on animals sized all the way from cats and Dachshunds up to Great Danes and Pit Bulls. They have been anywhere from freshly brought home puppies to older timers and ranged from being self reliant and really needing a lounging buddy all the way to pets needing constant attention and regular medicine/outside breaks. Beyond that though, I have had 5 years of professional work experience at a dog kennel (German Shepherds). That includes taking care of +10 dogs daily needs such as feeding, exercising, very basic training, grooming, and providing medicine. I am currently working full time on weekdays. So I am limited to being available after 4:30pm weekdays, but have open availability most all weekends. I am currently living in a house with my cats and can only offer your pet leashed visits to the green spaces on the property or a visit to the parks in Pierce County. I would prefer providing care to pets in their space and around sights and smells they already know. Unless you know your pet does well in a new environment, I like keeping comfort and regular routines in mind for pets.

About: I have worked at an animal hospital for 5 years total where I learned how to train dogs from Kathy Sadao who used to train the wales to relinquish the bombs for the Navy. I have owned large and XL breed dogs my whole life as well. I will treat your dog like a human child as they will be allowed on my furniture, my bed, and probably my kids beds as well. I have a little over 10 acres for them to play on. We are starting a small farm style residents and would love to shower your fur babies with love and attention. Since starting Rover, 90% of my clients are returning, and become part of our family as well. I have trained people’s dogs in the time I have had them along with help manage dogs anxiety’s to different things. I helped a water aggressive dog become no longer water aggressive. A dog who pulled on a leash so hard you couldn’t walk him to now, my 6 year old son walks him with no worries. As much as my family loves to play with and cuddle your 4 legged babies we also love to help you out by training them if we can. I have plenty of time for all pet care needs to be met. I am a stay at home mom, but all my kids now go to school so your fur babies will have all my attention most of the time during the week. I have a fenced yard, very safe neighborhood, loving high energetic family, big house, 10 acres, and I have worked at an animal hospital in the past I can tell if something is wrong with your dog. If you would like I love sending pictures and videos as well.

“I wish Dorothy lived closer to our home and was doing Rover full-time. She actually stays for 15-25 minutes to check on your kitties and coax them out of the closet. Attention to detail and reading the kitties needs is her specialty. Hoping to work with her again in the near future. Our dog Sadie could really use someone like Dorothy as well.”

“Stefanique and James (along with their sweet kiddos and lovable dogs, Chew and Sadie) are truly the dream team when it comes to pet care. Their home is warm, clean, and thoughtfully upgraded — with all-wood floors downstairs and a new, spacious dog run in the backyard, it’s clear they’ve created a safe and fun space for dogs to feel right at home. Their dogs are well-mannered and great with other pets and kids, which makes for a peaceful and social environment.
