“Alicia was on schedule, no excuses or drama. Responsibly followed instructions to the letter. Communications were answered promptly, pet pictures were accomplished without pet trauma. (my car is shy) Nice job!”
“Ashley was wonderful!!! She took pictures every visit which was very nice and got toys out and played with the cats. She left thoughtful, sweet and informative notes every visit. The cats loved her and were social with her. We would definitely book with Ashley again and 100% trust her with the care of our cats!!! Thank you, Ashley!!!”

“Dane and Kayla were fantastic! They showed up promptly every morning at 6 AM to feed and care for our pups, which we deeply appreciated. Their communication was excellent throughout the entire visit. One morning, we had a bit of an issue with our Pomsky acting a little too aggressively, but Kayla reached out right away, explained the situation clearly, and worked with us to find a quick and effective solution. We felt our dogs were in great hands the whole time. We definitely hope to use their amazing service again in the future.”

About: I’ve been taking care of cats, dogs, lizards, and even fish for neighbors, family, friends, and acquaintances for over 15 years! I’m excited to offer my services to even more families in my community to lend a hand and rub some bellies! I currently make my own schedule with my work kiddos that I service, allowing lots of time to pop in and check on your pets throughout the day! I’m also flexible to visit early mornings, late evenings, or even spend the night. I always go the extra mile to give your pets love and attention while you’re away! Whether that’s extra long walks, cuddles for hours in the evenings, or playing outside till the sun goes down, I want your pet to feel safe while their favorite human is away.
About: Had pets my whole life. I walk all the time and know where to take them and have an SUV with enough room to fit them in. Have 2 children who adore all animals. I have a full time job, Tuesday through Saturday, but I’m usually home around 2-4 pm. I’m available every evening and can stop to let them out during the day because of my job flexibility. I love both ends of the spectrum. I love being active and taking dogs for walk/runs. I also love relaxing and cuddling with them and getting to know what their preferences. Will follow all strict diet rules and keep a very clean house to avoid unwanted eating restrictions.
“Jenny has been great. I knew she’d do a great job; the cats warmed up to her and looked very happy in their pictures. The next time we need a sitter, we are going to book with Jenny!”

About: I’ve always had a dog growing up. I watched friends and family’s dogs growing up when they were away. Your pet will love being with me and everything will be fine!! Im free everyday to come watch your pet!! Fun loving college student looking to make some extra income while enjoying the company of your pet. I have a somewhat fenced yard and I have a dog to keep your dog company. Also a lot of dogs get along with me when I first meet them.
“Sam was great helping with a drop in visit for Kai ☺️ I received a lot of pictures and could see how happy Kai was while he was there. I will definitely be reaching out to Sam if I need a dog sitter again in the future ☺️”

“Dani was amazing! I was apprehensive (first time using Rover), but I’m so glad I did. She was professional and courteous, took great care of my dogs, and was pleasant to work with. She went above and beyond in all aspects, I highly recommend!!!”

“Susan is so sweet! Both my dogs were well cared for. She met ahead of time and was sure to jump right in and walk them, asked questions, got to know me and my pups, and was very thorough. We’re sadly heading out of the area but I absolutely recommend her and would use her again! Thanks for all the updates and such good care Susan!”

About: I have my own dog who is very energetic. I understand how to watch and care for a dog with a lot of energy and what they need I’m currently working part-time so I have a lot of extra time to care for dogs and any other animals and anything else that is needed. My backyard has a Fence and I have a dog. I have a lot of dog toys and have a perfect environment for other dogs to be happy just like mine.
About: I have worked with a variety of dog sizes and breeds through my volunteer work in college and high school. I would take dogs overnight or out of the shelter for a day to go on hikes, runs, and socialize them with strangers. I also worked as a dog bather at a professional dog grooming salon for 5 months while I was in college. I attended puppy training and dog agility classes growing up with my personal family dogs/puppies. I’m currently working as an elementary teacher, so I am available anytime after 3:30pm throughout the week (Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and/or Friday) and at any time on the weekends. I treat your pet(s) as if they were my own. I am detailed-oriented and reliable. I will take care of all your pets’ needs and make sure to give you updates on your furry family members.
“Kylie was wonderful with my cat. She asked questions about him at our meet and greet. She came on schedule and spent time talking with him and petting him. Our cat is very social and it was important to us that time be spent interacting with Que. Kylie did just that and send me many amazing pictures as well. I would highly recommend Kylie”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Lebanon
The whole experience from setup to final visit was a great experience with Dane and Kayla. My cats loved Dane and clearly looked forward to his visits. The photo updates were much appreciated and gave peace of mind while on vacation. Unfortunately, a worst nightmare for any pet parent happened when one of my cats became critically ill. Dane did everything possible for her and got her prompt emergency care while I could drive home. I know my cats were in good hands while I was away and would definitely recommend for anyone looking for reliable pet care while away.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Lebanon. On Rover:
- 95% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 96% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 98% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
