About: I’ve had dogs my whole life, as well as horses, cats, guinea pigs, iguanas, and turtles. Two years ago I lost my 14 year old pittie Scout, and have not felt I’m in a place to get my next dog yet. However, I absolutely love pet sitting, and treat any pet I watch as I would my own!! I currently work 4-10’s, am off Wednesdays and weekends. I am able to leave work at lunch to take dogs out for short walks as needed, and can be available to take pets on adventures on my days off! Most importantly, I follow whatever instructions are provided by the pet’s owner. I give pets free rein in my house, but make sure trash/etc is closed off and do not keep plants that are toxic to animals in my house. Pets always stay on leash outside unless otherwise directed by the pet owner.

About: I’ve had 3 dogs and 5 cats throughout my life. I’ve always loved the friendship I can make with my adopted furry siblings - and I would love to meet and care for your special furry babies. My family has always had pets around the house and I know how they all have their own personality, and I’m flexible, patient enough to accommodate all types, no matter how many belly scratches and/or head scratches they need. Big/small/energetic/calm - I can deal with them all! :) I’m currently working full time remote, but my schedule is very flexible. I can take care of your furry baby in any means necessary. About: I volunteer at the Frisco animal shelter so I have experience with puppies, seniors, reactive dogs and everything in between. I’ve also owned two dogs through their whole lives and have done some dog sitting on the Trusted Housesitters website. I work as a firefighter/ paramedic, so every day I wind up in people's homes on 911 calls, and often they have dogs, and it takes every bit of my self control to stay focused on the emergency at hand, and not get down on my knees and reassure the dogs and give them love. I'm a dog person through and through. Currently I own no dogs, so I get my fix through dog sitting and volunteering. My work schedule is 48 hour shifts, and then I have a block of 4 days off. Some of those days I go on climbing adventures, and some of those days I chill around the house. Those are the days I open my calendar up for dog sitting, so, your dog(s) won't ever be left alone. I'm happy to have the company as I putter around the house and do chores. I love to hike year round and I will take your dog with me, if they're up for it. If a mosey two houses down is all your old dog can do, I'm happy to do that too. I live in a ground floor condo at the very end of a sleepy street and there are open spaces and trails all around me. I also like to hop in the car and drive just a few minutes to lots of other trailheads nearby to get the dogs out - of course only if you're ok with that. Dogs can sleep on my bed and on my couches. I don't take on more than one dog at a time (unless they are from the same household), so your dog will have my full attention and love. Whatever their normal schedule is for food, medications, treats, bathroom, exercise etc. I will have no problem keeping them to their normal routine. I live alone in a quiet and uncluttered space where I'm sure your dog will feel right at home.

Ashley and Alex were amazing. Very communicative and kindly allowed us to visit their home ahead of our pup’s stay so we could be sure he was comfortable. I was completely out of service for 24 hours and my husband was out of the country so I needed someone I felt super comfortable with as we weren’t able to be reached in case of an emergency. Ashley dropped our pup off at his normal dog daycare facility on Monday and they said they expected him to be anxious since I’d been away, but he was relaxed and happy!
