About: I grew up surrounded by cats and love love love them. Years ago, I was the proud cat-parent to two sweet rescue tabbies, Cassius Clay and Joe Montana [Yes, we are sports fans!] Then my husband discovered his severe cat allergy, and we had to rehome them with a retired police officer. Because my household has to remain cat-free, I am looking to bring all that bottled-up feline affection to your furry family members instead! Currently, I pet-sit and drop in on cats for friends and neighbors in our area. Whether your cat needs active playtime, loves being brushed and rubbed, just wants someone around to cuddle with while you're away, or prefers to keep their distance, I treat every cat like my own. I'm excited to expand my circle and help more local families enjoy peace of mind knowing their cats are safe, well cared for, and with someone who gets cats and their unique personalities. While I work full time as a professor at Gustavus, much of my time is flexible and I plan to see cats I care for at least once a day. I can generally adjust to your needs and scheduling. Cats are best in their own space and environment. Your cats call the shots depending on their needs and personalities. If they like people and being held or groomed or playing, terrific! If they are more reserved and just want someone around and to make sure they have everything they need like a clean box and new food, terrific! In between? Great. Part of why cats are excellent is that they have such distinct personalities, and I adjust to those.

About: I have fostered any age dog for 3 years! Have a dog of my own for 10 and grew up on a farm with many dogs and cats. Also going to school for a vet tech. I can take on a couple dogs or cats any day of the week. Someone is always home. Have 7 people in the house with 4 adults and 3 teens. I have a fenced yard and a dog friend to play with. Also have 6 other people i. My home to help out. Am very good at calming animals and have reiki experience with animals.

About: ive grown up with pets my whole life and often pet sit for my family, so caring for animals comes naturally to me. I’m used to daily routines like walks, feeding, and playtime, and I always make sure pets feel comfortable and loved. i’m available Monday through Thursday for pet care. I have flexible availability throughout those days, including mornings, afternoons, and evenings, so I can adjust to your pet’s routine as needed. I’m happy to work around feeding times, walks, and any specific care schedules your pet is used to. i have a fenced yard and two friendly dogs, so pets will have a safe space and some company if they enjoy being around other dogs.

About: I treat my 2 dogs like children. Spoiled rotten. I enjoy animals more than I enjoy humans. Sorry, not sorry. My special skill is love lol I'm a travel nurse, working in different towns. Need more activities to do on my days off. I usually will have 3 days off. I have my dog with me and know how important he is. He is home. I prefer to go to the clients home and check on your dog and let him to go potty and or go on a walk.

About: I love caring for animals of all shapes, sizes, and species but my favorite creatures to look after are fish! I have over 7 years of experience in fish care and husbandry from a variety of settings; whether you need me to raise juvenile cichlids while you’re out of town, or just make sure your tank hasn’t exploded, I’m your guy. I work in the pet care industry so I also have experience with reptiles, small animals, and of course dogs and cats <3 I work mornings so I will always be available after 3:30pm for any drop in visits or house sitting! I typically have weekends off but, I am able to switch shifts around if your pet has specific needs. I do rent, so I am unable to board pets. As far as looking after your pets in your home I assure you there is no need to worry, I will look after your belongings better than my own! I prefer to do meet and greets and learn the ground rules before committing to a job, this also gives us an opportunity to start building some trust.

About: I have worked at my local dog daycare and have experience outside of taking care of my own animals growing up. I have also pet-sat dogs before for family members and friends. I am using this as my only job, and don't have any other priorities besides being a student. I don't have any classes I have to go to; they are all online, so I will have a free schedule. I have a yard that your pets will be able to play and no other animals live in my home. I always prioritize safety, following feeding instructions, walk routines, and home rules closely. About: I recently transitioned from my role as an outpatient therapist to explore roles that allow me to be more emotionally and physically present in my own life. Throughout my career, I've been known for my warmth, patience, reliability, and ability to build trust. These qualities that naturally extend to the way I care for animals. I grew up in a home that was never without a pet whether it was birds, dogs, cats, etc. I learned from an early age what it means to provide a safe, loving, and enriching environment for animals of all kinds. Today, my own little family includes Phoenix, my wise 12-year-old cat and queen of the house, Gibson, my affectionate Golden Retriever, and Maize, my endlessly curious 10-week-old black kitten. Caring for them is one of the greatest joys in my life. I love everything from long walks and cuddle sessions to finding new enrichment activities and making sure they feel safe, happy, and deeply loved. I'll care for your pets with the same attentiveness, patience, and genuine love that I give my own. I'd be honored to be a small part of helping your pets feel comfortable, cared for, and loved while you're away! I have recently decided to transition from my previous role as an outpatient therapist and have plenty of time for visits and walks sprinkled throughout the day. I am available M-F from 7:00 AM- 3:00 PM for drop-in visits/walks/etc. I currently live in a two-story home with my three pets Phoenix (12-year-old cat), Gibson (9-year-old Golden Retriever) and Maize (10-week-old kitten). Each of my pets have aspects of our home set up to meet their individual needs, whether that is areas to climb, separate spaces for their food/water, windows to see the world through and full access to all the cozy spots. I love taking slow walks with Gibson, and allow him time to sniff and snoof whatever he pleases along the way. However, the weather in Minnesota is not always friendly for walks during the day. On these days I will often create enrichment activities for Gibson such as peanut butter/water "pupsicles", hiding kibble around the living room for him to sniff and find, peanut butter bones (when we are at a happy weight) and just overall pets and snuggles. As for my cats - Phoenix enjoys quality time most of all - so I try to carve out special time for us to exist in the same space, with pets as she pleases. She also enjoys playing with her wand toys, catnip in her cat tree or snoozing in one of her many enclosed beds or window hammocks. My 10-week-old kitten's (Maize) care involves more consistent responsibilities throughout the day/week. I play with him for a short time before his meals, feed him, offer some alone time or more play (depending on his energy level) and typically put him in his safe room for some time after this to rest. I repeat this three times a day, with the night play session being longer and more energized. I scoop the litter box morning, afternoon and evening. There are many days I have to clean his bottom, paws or space due to a poop fiasco - I have gotten good at making this quick and painless. I also spend a lot of my time redirecting and teaching the lesson "Fingers are not toys" (if you've had/have a kitten you understand). Overall, I do my best to create a safe, healthy and predictable environment for my little housemates!

About: I have been around animals for as long as I can remember. I have the biggest soft spot for them, and I have two dogs of my own. I have had my own dog since I was about 19, but have had outdoor farm dogs for as long as I can remember. I have been around dogs, cats, guinea pigs, and other small animals for as long as I can remember. I am patient, detail orientated and I truly just love spending time with animals. Big or small, I love them all! I do work during the day, but I have the ability to pop out if/when I need to. I am free evenings and weekends. My schedule can be flexible if needed. I have a dog friendly home. To me this means there’s nothing but toys on the ground. Garbages are hidden and I am very aware of what is around my animals. I also have a dog park in front of my apartment!

About: I have taken care of dogs and horses and absolutely enjoy making sure they feel safe and loved. Pets bring so much joy and comfort. I hope to do the same for the pets I am watching. I'm currently working part-time, so I am available for more time. My son is off to the Marines, so I can stay at the client's house. This love for pet sitting began when my friends asked me to take care of their animals while they were on. vacation I prefer the pets at the client's house, where they feel more comfortable. Building trust with pets is key; they feel safe and secure while parents are gone. I will communicate with you as well as you see fit when you are gone to ensure you are happy and safe.

About: I’ve had animals in my life since I was a baby. I have always enjoyed being around animals and playing with them and building trust with them and being able to cuddle with them on tough days. I have had different types of animals in my life. I have had dogs, cats, rabbits, Guinea pigs, hamster, bearded dragon. I currently work part time as a nanny on mondays and Friday and I also currently am trying to create my own business of refurbishing furniture when I have the time. So I am available most days. If yard is fenced I let them run and play and watch them at all times. Otherwise I will put a leash on them so they stay close. I will also pay attention to where they are at all times.
