About: Hello my name is Gael and I'm the proud parent of a 14 year old Pug named Sancho. I love dogs and grew up with both big and small dogs. I enjoy meeting new furry friends and giving them the love and care they deserve while you are away. We live in a quite nice neighborhood and enjoy going for long walks at night. I was previously a dog sitter with DogVacay so I've had experience with different types of dogs and updating parents regularly through the app. Note that since Sanch is around 23 lbs I would like to care for small and medium size doggiesthat are also around the same size and no more than 25lbs. I am also able to administer medication and accommodate any special feeding needs. I work from home and I'm available to take your doggie out when needed and attend to any other needs during the day. They usually sleep in the bed or their own if they want. I live in a quiet and safe townhouse apartment with stairs, small patio and green adjacent areas for walks and potty brakes in the shade.

About: My life intertwines with animals—Bull Terriers, cats, and every creature becoming my teachers of unconditional love and profound connection. Where others saw breed stereotypes, I discovered souls waiting to be understood and cherished. For over two decades, I've dedicated myself to understanding and rehabilitating Bull Terriers, showing the world their gentle, loving hearts beneath muscular exteriors. Fostering and caring these dogs isn't just a task—it's an art of patience and mutual understanding. They can be challenging, but their capacity for love is unparalleled. Each dog has taught me more about compassion than any human interaction ever could. My connection extends beyond traditional companions. Every being, whether fur, feather, or leaf, deserves respect and love. Fur, Friendship, and Fighting Stigmas: My Journey with Bull Terriers 🐾 I'm currently working from home when I'm not traveling. My flexible shcedule allows me to accommodate my job, work flows around their needs. Morning plays, midday cuddles, and ongoing companionship is what we are used to at home. In my home, every furry friend becomes family. With a spacious, securely fenced yard, your pets will enjoy freedom, play, and companionship among my loving pack. Sofas and beds are open territories were cuddles and comfort reign supreme. Bring your pet's favorite blanket, cherished toy, or familiar crate—I want them to feel instantly at home. Here, individual needs are honored, anxieties soothed, and tails wag with pure joy. Your fur baby isn't just a guest; they're treasured and protected. Where comfort meets compassion, healing begins.

“Sam & Thaymare are great! My boy had a great time with them! They arranged a meetup before the session, are great communicators and & I felt so relieved to have found someone that I feel comfortable leaving my baby with. I 100% recommend them!”

About: I’ve always been an animal lover. I raised two dogs from puppyhood. Lucy lived to 18, and my current pup, Porscha, is now 14. I also have a 15 year old cat, AppleJack, I’ve had since she was a kitten. So I know what it’s like to care for pets at every stage of life, from playful zoomies to slower senior strolls. I started pet sitting because I wasn’t looking to commit to another full time pet, but I still wanted to spend my days caring for animals and helping fellow pet parents. Whether it’s a quick walk, overnight stay, or just some company while you’re away, I’m here to give your pet the love and attention they deserve. I’m especially great with: Puppies and senior pets Shy or anxious animals Keeping routines and providing lots of updates (with cute pics!) At Playful Paws, your pet will feel safe, loved, and totally at home. I work fully remote, and so does my husband, which gives us the flexibility to provide consistent, attentive care throughout the day. Whether your pet needs a morning walk, a midday check-in, or some evening cuddles, we’re usually home and available to help. Being remote means your pet won’t be left alone for long periods, and we can easily adjust to their routine. Weekdays, weekends, we’re here to keep tails wagging and whiskers happy. Whether your pet is staying with me or I’m visiting them in your home, their safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I treat every pet like they’re my own, with patience, love, and respect for their routine. At home, I create a calm, pet-friendly environment with cozy spaces, a clean setting, and plenty of playtime. My husband and I both work remotely, so someone’s almost always home for companionship and supervision. In your home, I’m mindful of your space and your pet’s habits. I follow instructions closely, whether that’s meal times, meds, or favorite toys, and I always keep things tidy and secure. You’ll get regular updates and photos so you can relax knowing your fur baby is in caring, capable hands.

About: I became a biology professor because I have always loved animals of all kinds. My schedule includes lots of “work from home” time, and I truly enjoy supporting clients and their pets with compassionate and enthusiastic pet care. My home has a fenced yard along the river - it’s perfect for supervised playtime with dogs that are accustomed to being off leash in secure areas. Couch potatoes are also welcome, and can be kept on leash for our walks in my quiet/low-traffic neighborhood. In addition to dogs of all kinds and personalities, I have also cared for many cats, birds, and bunnies in clients’ homes. I really enjoy learning their personalities and helping clients know their bffs are safe and well cared for. I work self-set hours outside the academic year (i.e. during summer, spring, and winter breaks). During the semester I have college teaching duties about 20yrs/week; the days and times change each term but I’m usually free for early morning, late afternoon, or night time visits walks or caregiving in my home. I have a large fenced yard on the waterfront in wilton manors. I have cared for dogs, cats, birds and bunnies in clients’ homes. Your animal is more than a chore for me- I try to learn to read their needs, keep them happy/comfortable/safe and help them get through missing you with treats pets, kindness, excercise, or whatever they need (per your guidelines).

“Darius was great with Koda even with a last minute booking. He kept us up tp date with photos of their activities and any important information. We look forward to using Darius’ services whenever in the area.”

About: I am experienced Rover pet sitter and also have years caring for all kinds of pets before joining the Rover team (local references available). I only serve one client at a time and offer both boarding (in my home) and house sitting (in clients homes). I am retired and this work gives me joy and purpose after the passing of my beloved 19yr old Chihuahua (Paco). I am home most of the day, and can make your pet’s care and well being my priority. I have experience caring for many types of pets over the years, and a *huge* fenced yard for dogs to play in. Animals give us unconditional love and truly deserve our very best in return. I stay active and social in my retirement from a professional career in the medical field. Caring for others’ pets is now my primary work focus, and helps add meaning and joy to my days. My home has a double lot sized yard that is fully fenced so dogs can romp and play safely. I supervise all outdoor playtimes from a comfortable and shaded pool-side patio. If I am house sitting for clients, I treat every home responsibly. I have several local references who can attest to the quality of care I provide in my home and/or theirs. Please reach out if I can answer any questions you may have.

“Kind, Reliable and Trustworthy. I relocated out here from CA two years ago and stumbled upon who was highly recommended to me by baristas at the cafe where I would start my day to walk my dog. And now my dog loves him, so much all I have to do is open my car door and he runs inside Eben’s for his vacation not in the least worried about where I’m going. It’s definitely spa time for my dog when Eben babysits!”

“David has always taken great care of my 5 cats! It is very hard to find someone who is attentive, caring, & responsible with my cats, and responsive to my needs as well! David has allowed me to be comfortable and confident that I am leaving my family in good hands when I go away. He has created a bond with each of my cats over time, learning their individual personalities, how they like to play, what they prefer to eat, if they like pets (or not!) He does not "clockwatch" and devotes a good amount of time when he catsits to be able to give each of my cats the attention they need everyday while I am away.”

Lazy Lake dog parents share their Rover experiences
I can't say enough wonderful things about Nicole & Jacob and the care they gave my dog. My diva maltipoo can be very anxious when around other dogs. She's used to being the "one and only", and doesn't want to share her life with any other dogs. She loves people, though! Both Nicole & Jacob were incredibly patient, gentle, and intuitive from the very beginning. They took the time to understand my dog’s needs and built trust in such a calm and reassuring way. They gradually introduced some of the dogs her size until she relaxed and felt more comfortable with them. Sailor needs more social skills when she's around new dogs. I felt completely at ease knowing my dog was in such caring and capable hands. Highly recommend Nicole/Jacob to anyone looking for someone who truly gets animals and treats them like their own.

Ashley was AMAZING! I was very nervous about leaving my puppy as he’s always with me, but I knew right away when meeting her that he would be in great hands and he was! She sent me tons of updates and photos and went the extra mile to make sure all his favorite things were done for him. Chewie and I highly recommend. ☺️
