About: Hi, Everyone! My name is Cara. Thank you for visiting my page. My strong admiration for animals has only grown more with the more animals I meet and as a result, it brings me genuine happiness. It is a rewarding experience to be able to take care of any animal that needs it while their owner is away. Since starting Rover in August 21’, I’ve had 10+ repeat clients and have established great friendships with families/people in the community as a result. I have a M-F teaching position 8am-4pm. A half hour lunch long lunch where I can leave to care for your furries in the middle of the day depending on the distance. Dogs will be crated when I’m not home. A little history: I grew up with a miniature schnauzer (Zoie) whom towards the end of her life, needed constant supervision and was administered medicine 3x/ day, grooming/washing daily. I was always there to comfort her until the end of her life and spoiled her beyond belief. Myself and my family provided care to my mini schnauzer for over 12 years. As a child, I never had a dog sitter to send updates, pictures/videos for my sweet Zoie when my family would travel, so I strongly understand the importance of quick and reliable communication/sending updates while you’re away. Experience - administering medicine/injections - cats, big dogs, small dogs, senior animals, special needs pets, pigs, cows, chickens. -exercise/run with your pet -hospice/end of life care (Repositioning every hour, hand feeding, massages, cooking packs, frozen bone broth snacks on warmer days, the list goes on) Pets and animals deserve to be spoiled but most importantly, they deserve to be loved. I have a white fur baby (Minnie). Shes a loyal, sweet and well behaved dog, I’m so lucky and thankful for her every day as she brings me so much happiness. She stays at home with her other best friend, my significant other while I’m away. I work M-F through a nearby school, being able to provide supervision to animals while I am home. About: Do you ever look at your dog and think how did I get so lucky...Pups to many our like children they get all the love you have to give...Like you the time I am with them I will love and adore them...I've almost always had a dog...My beagle Shelby 15 1/2 passed away on December 20, 2022 and Dante passed away July 4th 2020, I don't have the heart to delete them he was 11 and had been with me the past 4 years since I saved him from the NYC kill shelter on his last day...I trap cats have them fixed and find them homes, some stay (10)....I am active on house sitting sites and travel for sits whenever I have free time from work (photographer)...For years I have taken care of friends cats, dogs, horses, cows, goats and Rizzo the rat... I work a lot from home only gone a few hours at a time if I do need to go out for any jobs or errands... I do have an indoor/outdoor kennel in my barn in the house I have a spare bedroom a pet can have if they need their own space also a mud room which I mostly use for kittens/cats I have trapped...

About: I am very well equipped to care for dogs and cats with varying needs and abilities. Each animal deserves the love we would give our own child. I’m currently looking for new opportunities having just moved back to the area. I have grown up here and have cared for many pups and kitties and would love the opportunity to give your pet the love and care they deserve. I am very attentive to the specific instructions of each pet owner. Every fur baby has their own unique personality and needs and I am well equipped and able to keep them safe and happy while in my care.

About: Taking care of pets has always been part of my life. I have a fenced in yard for dogs to run and play. As for walks, I have to active kids who are always willing to take a walk around. I currently work at the local school just minutes from my home. I come home middle of the day. I am home during the summer and on weekends. I have a fenced in yard and one dog who is a big baby. Dogs are allowed to lay wherever they are comfortable but can also crate if they are used to that.

About: I have sat for multiple different types of animals from tortoises to puppies!!! I love all shapes, colors, species and sizes!! I also love to exercise and love a good dog walk!!! About: I’ve taken care of lots of pets over the years. I enjoy being around animals and showing them love because they do the same for us! I have a genuine love for taking care of things if I can help it and I’m going to school to even become a nurse. I also started a house plant hobby. Taking care of things is just in my blood. I’m available more in the evenings . My schedule is flexible but inconsistent because I’m part time at my jobs but we can discuss availability if you book me to take care of your pet(s)! I have a fenced in back yard and just one cat. I’m able to keep them separated if needed. I also have my own home and it’s a smoke free one! I’m very clean and clean my home daily. I let my cat on the couches so yours will be allowed the same if they are not dirty of course.

About: Hello! I’ve been around or raising most of my life, I even have 2 cats and 2 dogs currently. I am a very dedicated, reliable and caring pet lover so I’m very comfortable taking your beautiful babies on a walk or to a park if they’d allow me to. I will do everything I can to make ur pet as happy and comfortable as they can be while you’re away! I’m also comfortable feeding, grooming or playing with your pet as needed. I currently have open availability so any time or day of the week or weekend while also including nights if needed, I’m here whenever to take care of your fur babies! I would like to ask the client if it’s okay if I could meet with them a day before just to see a quick routine run or ask if they can leave me a detailed list of what they’d like me to do. I can also crate the dog if the owner would like me to do so, go for walks, feed and fill water bowls when needed, and anything else that may need to be done.

About: I am not in a hurry to leave your pet alone. I am taking care of your animal because I love this job. So I will do the job as well as I can, because I love being given the opportunity to be around your pets. I currently dedicate nearly all of my free time to the care of pets. I love that this service exists because it fills up my spirit I’m a very conscientious person who understands the need to keep all dangerous products and liquids out of reach of any pet. About: I have taken care of pets my whole life. Many different kinds, including dogs, cats, ferrets, rats, etc. I will treat your pet with love and kindness. I have a job where I make my own schedule. If you decide to board your pet with me, I will be on premises at all times. For boarding, I have a decent size fenced in back yard. I do have a 7 year old husky that has gone to daycare. He's been around a lot of different dogs. If your dog needs to be crated, I can do that as well. I am available to come feed your animal in your home. I can let them out and walk them if needed.

About: I helped care for family dogs and cats since I was about five years old, feeding, giving water, walking and cleaning up after them until I was 18. I have boarded two dogs for a friend and provided drop-in visits for a former neighbor for about a year after that and worked at a pet hotel from '17-'19 in which time I got a dog training certification. I have some experience taking care of mice and hamsters and would like to learn how to care for rats and snakes. I'm currently looking for part-time work and would be more than happy to provide the love and care that your fur babies require in your absence. I'm also a newer driver and could really use the experience. Afternoons and evenings work best but please don't be shy about asking for morning services. Depending on the service and your pet's needs, I will spend as much time as they need whether it be a brief or long walk, cuddling on the couch, etc. I will be working part-time starting April 14, 2024. I will have a schedule ready sometime afterwards. Hopefully it will be in the next few weeks. I will keep your pet indoors for the most part, depending on the pet. I prefer to keep dogs on a leash when they go out for walks and to potty unless there is a fenced in yard.

About: Animals and nature have been my greatest passion for as long as I can remember. I’ve been exposed to, and well acquainted to a variety of animals, including fish, rodents, reptiles, dogs, cats, horses, chickens, and even a baby squirrel rescue! I am also a volunteer dog walker at my local shelter, which is my therapy and brings me great happiness. I have two dogs of my own that I’ve raised since they were eight weeks old. They are my entire world. I am knowledgeable in basic dog training and obedience, and very observant and understanding of animal behavior. Nothing brings me more joy and happiness in life than being surrounded by the love and purity of animals. I currently have open availability. I have a very flexible and adaptable schedule and I am open to what works best for you and your pets needs. I am with my dogs all day everyday. They get all of my love and attention. I constantly monitor for potential hazards and act accordingly in order to limit any risks. Cleanliness and order is my main priority as I value a clean and tidy home. I have fresh water out all day and I feed them twice a day. My dogs get a specialized high end kibble which I supplement with fresh meat, organ, eggs, fruits, veggies, goats milk, coconut oil, bone broth, salmon oil, turmeric and a daily vitamin. I wash my dogs as needed or every two weeks. I brush their teeth, fur, and clip their nails weekly as well. I only have high quality chew bones and other toys available that don’t pose a risk as my dogs are heavy chewers.

About: Aside from over 20 years of experience caring for my own family pets, I have majored veterinary science, have worked in a veterinary clinic, and have previously provided foster care for sick, injured, malnourished, pregnant, nursing, and infant dogs. As such, I am able to handle any situation that may arise with your pet. I am comfortable administering medications and treatments if needed. I am willing to provide basic grooming services such as bathing, brushing, nail trimming, and ear cleaning for an additional fee. About: I have cared for the pets of family members and friends since I was a teenager, and truly love providing animals a safe, engaging environment to be their adorable selves! About: I’ve always had pets in my household since I was little but have been actively caring for them since about 16, house/pet sitting for neighbors& friends, etc. I would love to take care of and watch your fur baby as if they were my own! I’m currently a nursing student working part time so my current job only takes my time away a few times a week and I’m always available after 3. Most days I’m available all day however, and in house pet sitting is always available!! I have a decent sized yard for your pet to play in and also have to fur babies of my own to keep yours socially entertained! And I’m able to crate any dog as needed!
