About: Do you ever look at your dog and think how did I get so lucky...Pups to many our like children they get all the love you have to give...Like you the time I am with them I will love and adore them...I've almost always had a dog...My beagle Shelby 15 1/2 passed away on December 20, 2022 and Dante passed away July 4th 2020, I don't have the heart to delete them he was 11 and had been with me the past 4 years since I saved him from the NYC kill shelter on his last day...I trap cats have them fixed and find them homes, some stay (10)....I am active on house sitting sites and travel for sits whenever I have free time from work (photographer)...For years I have taken care of friends cats, dogs, horses, cows, goats and Rizzo the rat... About: I have had pets most of my life. I quit my job and started a non-profit, St. Lewis Foundation, which didnt work out, so all the animals in my care became my pets. They were mostly senior and unwanted animals, which is where my heart is. I am unemployed right now, looking for remote work . So I am home all day. I have the time to let your pup out as many times as he/she wants. If they are a little dog I will be right by their side. I am up 6a - 9p. I have 3 senior cats that sleep up high most of the day, so your pup needs to be okay with cats. All pups sleep with me in my king size bed (if they want to). I have a dog bed next to me in my office or a couch in front of a large front window. I have locked screen security doors in case your pup likes to sniff the air. Central AC (I like it cool) and heating. I have many balls and treats (if allowed) and would love to throw the ball a bit. Back yard is not huge but sufficient. All my dogs have passed and I am missing a dog so much but cant commit right now. So let me love on your pup!

I am not grossed out by any mess your pet may make and will keep the space clean. Normally work 7-noon 3 days a week. My job is very flexible and could change to suite you and your pets needs! I am very quick with responding if you would need me last minute. My pets that I've had in my home get fed at the same time every day. They are also allowed to go out when they want and get their paws cleaned when they come in. Water is always available to them. About: I helped care for family dogs and cats since I was about five years old, feeding, giving water, walking and cleaning up after them until I was 18. I have boarded two dogs for a friend and provided drop-in visits for a former neighbor for about a year after that and worked at a pet hotel from '17-'19 in which time I got a dog training certification. I have some experience taking care of mice and hamsters and would like to learn how to care for rats and snakes. I'm currently looking for part-time work and would be more than happy to provide the love and care that your fur babies require in your absence. I'm also a newer driver and could really use the experience. Afternoons and evenings work best but please don't be shy about asking for morning services. Depending on the service and your pet's needs, I will spend as much time as they need whether it be a brief or long walk, cuddling on the couch, etc. I will be working part-time starting April 14, 2024. I will have a schedule ready sometime afterwards. Hopefully it will be in the next few weeks. I will keep your pet indoors for the most part, depending on the pet. I prefer to keep dogs on a leash when they go out for walks and to potty unless there is a fenced in yard.

I’ve been exposed to, and well acquainted to a variety of animals, including fish, rodents, reptiles, dogs, cats, horses, chickens, and even a baby squirrel rescue! I am also a volunteer dog walker at my local shelter, which is my therapy and brings me great happiness. I have two dogs of my own that I’ve raised since they were eight weeks old. They are my entire world. I am knowledgeable in basic dog training and obedience, and very observant and understanding of animal behavior. Nothing brings me more joy and happiness in life than being surrounded by the love and purity of animals. I currently have open availability. I have a very flexible and adaptable schedule and I am open to what works best for you and your pets needs. I am with my dogs all day everyday. They get all of my love and attention. I constantly monitor for potential hazards and act accordingly in order to limit any risks. Cleanliness and order is my main priority as I value a clean and tidy home. I have fresh water out all day and I feed them twice a day. My dogs get a specialized high end kibble which I supplement with fresh meat, organ, eggs, fruits, veggies, goats milk, coconut oil, bone broth, salmon oil, turmeric and a daily vitamin. I wash my dogs as needed or every two weeks. I brush their teeth, fur, and clip their nails weekly as well. I only have high quality chew bones and other toys available that don’t pose a risk as my dogs are heavy chewers.

House trained dogs have freedom in our home. We’re suckers who allow pets on furniture and provide all the love and cuddles needed to make them comfortable. We have plenty of room for crates if your pup is more comfortable in one. In your home, I will follow your house rules. Depending on location, I can come and visit or stay overnight. I can bring mail and packages in for you and take care of your plants. 🪴
