About: I am working on starting my own business called Kaitlyn's Pet Sitting. I want to offer my business through Rover to get the word out there and build a client base. A little about me, I have worked in the animal care field for a very long time. I've worked in veterinary clinics and boarding facilities. I grew up on a farm and currently live on my own hobby farm with lots of land, chickens, horses and cats outside. I miss working in the animal care field caring for pets and I am looking to get back into this area of work. I have learned that dogs are more comfortable being in a home setting versus going to boarding facilities. A lot of dogs can develop stress related behaviors along with destructive behaviors from being at boarding facilities, that's why I want to offer this service to the community. I am currently working during the week Monday - Thursday 7:30am-5:00pm. But I am usually free on the weekends! I am hoping to eventually be available full time. I have a fenced in area for my dogs. My dogs are also crate trained for when I am away at work. All of my dogs love playing with other dogs! They basically grew up in a boarding facility when I used to work at one. I have a Siberian Husky, Australian Shepherd/Border Collie and 2 Chihuahuas.

“We love Abigail. Rex loves going with her when I'm out of town. She is very communicative on how he is doing. Thoughtful and excellent in her care for Rex like he was her own. We are blessed by her and will be requesting her services frequently.”

About: I have taken care of all kinds of animals since i was little. I have 1 inside cat, 1 outside cat & 2 boxer dogs. We would love to offer our help to all the animal families out there! I currently work Full time Monday through Friday. I am available Friday after 5:00pm to Sunday at 6:00pm! (unless the dog is boarding then we can keep them during the week) I have a fenced in yard with alot of toys & space for the animals to run / play. We live in the country so walks are in our daily routine!

“Archer has stayed with Theresa for 9 booking so far. It seems like it’s a second home for archer. Archer is our daughter dog who got deployed. We travel a lot . So for us it’s nice to have confidence in someone to take care of our loved one! Thank you Theresa”

“Elizabeth is awesome! She was so patient and kind with my really nervous dog and went above and beyond to communicate with me and problem-solve as my pup presented her with some unforeseen challenges. I can’t imagine that there’s a better dog caregiver out there.”

About: What sets me apart is a lifetime of hands-on experience with dogs of all ages and temperaments. I trained numerous dogs through the 4-H Dog Project during my entire junior career, gaining a strong foundation in obedience, showmanship, and care. I also worked at a veterinary clinic and kennel all through high school and college, where I learned to care for everything from playful puppies to senior dogs needing extra attention. Today, I train my own border collies for stock dog work, combining practical skills with positive training methods. Staying with me, dogs get more than just care—they get a safe, enriching taste of country life with plenty of fresh air, space to roam, and personal attention tailored to their needs. Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine because I live and work full-time on the farm. I’m always close by to give dogs the attention, exercise, and structure they need throughout the day. Whether it's morning walks, playtime in the pasture, or quiet time in the evening, caring for animals is just part of the rhythm here. With a consistent, hands-on approach, your dog becomes part of the farm family—never rushed, never overlooked. Your dog will have the company of my two friendly, well-trained border collies, who love meeting new friends and help create a fun, social atmosphere.

About: Animals have always been apart of my life growing up my parents bred English mastiff and pugs. I showed dogs in 4-H for 4 years and it really helped me amass so much knowledge. I have extensive experience with senior dogs and they hold a very special place in my heart. With us your senior will be in the best of hands. I don’t have a regular 9-5 so most of my day is spent home with the pups. I have my dogs on a specific feeding/potty schedule but I am very flexible to make your pup feel as comfortable as possible. I like to think I treat them as one of my one while keeping in mind if the owner has and rules or requests of their own.

About: I have been a vet tech for 10 years now and also have fostered over 30 dogs in the last 4 years. Knowledge with health, behavior and wellness. We love senior pets and understand the care that goes into them! Variety of experience with different dog breeds. I work full time during the week. Unless a special arrangement is made I am only able to dog sit sat-mon. We have 2 dogs and a cat so pets are not left alone more than 3 hours during non work days. Your dog will be treated like a member of the family in our home. We live in a quiet neighborhood on almost 3 acres. Dogs will be taken out on a leash to potty. We have 2 dogs that are friendly and social and 2 boys that are dog savvy kids. There is a cat in the home as well that will more than likely be hiding during your dogs stay. I am able to administer medications if needed. Nail trim and/or bath can be provided for fee

“Kendra did a great job taking care of my dog. I would use her again if I was in the area. It was my first time using Rover so I was hoping for a good experience. I was a little discombobulated having packed late or a camping trip. Even though I forgot to leave my dog's dishes and supplement Kendra took it all into stride. With the missing supplement she contacted me and and made sure she understood how the medication my dog is on were given before I left my pup with her. Throughout the entire process she was communicative responding quickly to any questions I had. It was a good introduction to Rover.”

About: Dogs must be up to date on vaccinations as well as current with flea and tick prevention. I do accept unaltered males and females. But I will not accept unaltered males if I have females in season or am expecting to have a female in season. Boarding is in our home where your pet will be treated like family. While you’re out on the resting on the beach your pet will be resting on the couch! (Or one of our dog beds, whichever they prefer). As long as your dog has good house manners I do not require them to be kenneled while unsupervised. If your pet might be a little mischievous while I’m out running errands I do appreciate it if the family brings a kennel so we have no worries. Dogs are all fed individually in separate areas to prevent any food aggression issues, someone stealing food, etc. I also have a camera in my living room area that I use to check on them if I need to run into town for whatever reason. Weather permitting, we live on a dead end road, your pet will be taken on walks throughout there stay unless there is a reason they are not able to. With over 10+ years of experience with a large variety of animals your pet(s) will receive top quality care! Let me know if there are any questions! I do currently work. The longest time your pet would be unattended for is 4-8 hours at times. Which I do have some flexiable with that if you are worried this schedule might not work with your pet. I currently have two German shorthair pointers of my own to accompany your fur baby while you’re out and about. I let my dogs out on a check cord if I am unable to supervise them for any reason so they can have a potty break. We go for walks and have supervised playtime in the yard weather permitting!

About: With five years of experience, I've developed a deep understanding of dog care, gained from working at various doggie daycare and boarding facilities. I also provide home visits, walks, and host dogs in my own home. I foster for a rescue, ensuring that my personal fosters and client dogs are kept separate. I live with two cats, one of whom is very dog-friendly, and two female dogs who are more reserved, preferring interactions on their own terms. My male Pitbull, however, is very playful. All my dogs are comfortable crating overnight and when I'm at work. I can only board male dogs, or smaller, submissive female dogs under 30 pounds. I work part time I’m the summer with a varying schedule. During the school year I am a teacher. I am gone from 7:30-4 daily. When dogs visit my home they are leashed in the yard, and will probably keep a drag leash on them while they learn the boundaries of the home. I will crate and rotate if needed to give the dogs time to settle in. I can provide mealtime enrichment in the forms of snuffle mats, frozen meals fillable treat toys, puzzle treats, snuffle games etc. I have boundaries in my home when it comes to behavior and dogs will get breaks in their kennel as needed for cool down time or an overstimulation break. If a dog has structural needs or some behavioral concerns, I am happy to talk about how/if I can accommodate them in my home. We have an abundance of chew toys, stuffies, and balls for dogs to play with but we can also remove them if your dog has some resource guarding tendencies with new dogs. When doing drop ins in a client home I make sure to be non threatening when arriving and giving the dogs lots of space and time to get used to me before expecting to take them out of their crate. I would need a breakdown of the house rules and can hold the boundaries needed. For walks, I don’t want to be tugged around, so I can provide alternate tools to help the dog walk better, including but limited to; head halters, front clip harnesses, slip leads, prong collars(I am trained in how to fit and use them properly). This can all be a discussion before services are scheduled. I also prefer to meet all my clients beforehand to ensure a proper fit for my home. All of my dogs are utd on their Rabies & Distemper/Parvo vaccines as well as spayed and neutered. They receive flea and tick preventatives monthly. Any dog I take into my care will need to be utd on distemper/Parvo and rabies vaccines at a minimum. No UNspayed females. UNneutered males will be a case by case basis. They will also need to be on flea and tick preventatives as well. Preferably oral. Over the counter topicals don’t work well.

Emery J.
“We had Emery watch our 7 yr old GSP in January and I would highly recommend checking her out if you need car for your pup! We did a meet and greet before just because Minnie had never been to another person’s home before, always in a kennel type setting or with us at home or in our camper. We got a few updates and picture while we were gone and Minnie looked to be having a fantastic time in her home and not locked in a kennel. We wanted to find a more comfortable place to board her as she ages and Emery fit that perfectly. We will definitely use her again!!”
