She took the time to ask about Buddy’s routine, preferences, and any special needs, which made us feel that he was in good hands. Throughout the trip, we received regular picture updates of Buddy enjoying his walks and playtime. It was obvious that he was not only being cared for but was truly happy. When we returned, Buddy was calm, healthy, and had clearly been well-loved in our absence. It's rare to find someone who genuinely cares for your pet as much as you do, and this experience was exceptional. I highly recommend this person to anyone seeking quality and compassionate care for their dogs.”

“Eric provided a wonderful stay for my two labs. He went over & above checking the older chocolate's ears for wax build up & cleaned his ears so it didn't get bad. He is the first sitter to care so much about his ears! My silver is quite energetic & Eric managed her very well & kept her occupied or gave her quiet time. His dog, Winston, is a sweetie & my two had a great time with him! I have two more stays planned with Eric already.”

About: I have owned my own dog for the past 15 years. Experienced with difficult eaters, medication needs, walking, playing etc. Experienced with dogs who don’t like other dogs. Work full time during the week. Can provide care before and after work. Pets will need to be alone for 8 hours. Weekends I am very free to give as much attention as necessary I’ll provide whatever level of care and safety your pet is used to in your home and neighborhood. My goal is to make their time away from you as much like if you were there.

“I volunteered with Phyllis at the Humane Animal Rescue League of Pittsburgh. Through her years of experience with walking dogs she was trusted to work with dogs that were timid, shy and anxious, as well as dogs that had dog reactivity, strong dogs that still needed training to walk comfortably on a leash, and dogs that would become overstimulated on walks. I also trust Phyllis to watch and walk my own dogs, one who experiences dog reactivity on walks and can be challenging to walk due to her triggers. She is also a resource guarder and needs special attention during feeding times and whenever providing treats. Phyllis utilizes positive reinforcement to encourage preferred behavior and respects and loves dogs. She also checks in on our cats when we are out of town and has experience administering oral medication to one of my cats. I would recommend Phyllis to care for your animal family members. Their experience with her will be loving, positive, safe, and enriching.”
