“Highly recommend. Our boy was well taken care of with daily updates and pictures. He loved playing with her dogs and actually came home pretty tired from all the activity. Will definitely be using Melissa again.”
“Jennifer was great with Bobo my 8 year old Australian Shepherd. Her huge backyard was completely fenced so I had the great sense of safety that Bobo would not escape & get hit by a car. Jennifer sent me pictures & updates every day & I could tell he was comfortable & happy. I will certainly use Jennifer any time I need to leave town. I highly recommend her…”

“Another wonderful experience with Lindsay. I love how she treats my pup like her own and he seems to fit right in with her and her family. She is such a lovely person; I can't say enough good things and would recommend Lindsay to anyone.”

“Ashlyn was great! She made the the dropoff so easy, and we had no issues. She was great with sending pictures, and eased my worries big time. This was the first time we've left our little guy in someone else's care, and I was very nervous, but she did a fantastic job walking lots and taking care of him. We would definitely have her watch him again 😁✋”

“For my first time using Rover, I was very pleased with Augusta. She is very nice, calm and patient. I appreciated her good communication which gave me peace knowing my fur baby was in good hands.”

“Jessica was wonderful! Merle was well cared for, she kept me in the loop on how he was doing and any behavior changes, she handled his thunderstorm anxiety like a pro, and even went above and beyond to keep him extra time when I had a canceled flight. Great Rover sitter!”

“Gary did a great job taking care of our two dogs (whom we couldn't bear to leave anywhere but a home environment). He was prompt and thorough in his communications, and his depth of experience in dog care was evident. I'd recommend him without hesitation!”

“Just a wonderful, conscientious, and caring family. They’re so loving and so communicative. We felt like our little guy was in such great hands and we really hope to engage with them in the future.”

“I’d been searching for a sitter after moving back to the area and the search is over! I was able to enjoy my vacation knowing my Barry was having a great time with Carol and her pups and getting all the cuddles. Carol sent updates and cute pictures of him getting plenty of love. We look forward to having a reliable person who makes it easy to enjoy my time away!”

“Sharon is truly incredible! This was our 2 girls’ first time staying with Sharon. Our girls can sometimes be a bit timid at first but they acclimated so well and she made them feel right at home (even bringing out an extra rug so that our Charlotte wasn’t so nervous walking on hard wood floors)! Sharon is kind, thoughtful and puts animals (and humans) at complete ease :) I’m so grateful we found her and look forward to our girls’ next stay with her!”

About: Hello! My name is Laura and I live in Trafford, PA with my fiancé, Nathan, and our 10 month old golden retriever puppy, Meadow :). I bring a lifetime of hands-on experience with a wide variety of pets — not just dogs and cats, but also hamsters, chinchillas, guinea pigs and have even fostered a groundhog. I’ve grown up with pets all my life and couldn’t imagine a life without a furry family member. I’m comfortable with any and all pets including puppies who need structure, potty breaks, and tons of attention, as well as senior pets who may require a slower pace, extra gentleness, and close attention to their routines. I always keep owners updated so they feel connected and reassured:) I pride myself on being reliable, communicative, and calm, even with shy, anxious, or energetic pets. Whether it’s walking, feeding, playing, or just keeping them company, I make sure every pet feels safe and loved! I am a registered dental hygienist and work locally in Monroeville, PA. I work Monday–Thursday from 7am–4pm, but am available for evening walks and drop-ins. I’m fully available on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays for anything you need, including weekend boarding or day-care! I also have an entire week off around Christmas time, so I’ll be home and fully available for holiday bookings, extended stays, or extra visits during that time :). Pet care is something I truly enjoy, so I build my free time around making sure your pets get the attention, love, and routine they need. We live on a 2 acre wooded lot and I have a fully fenced-in large backyard for secure outdoor time. My two-story home offers lots of space for relaxing, playing, or finding a quiet spot. I’m experienced with crate training and can follow any crate or feeding routines your pet is used to. I have my own 10 month old golden retriever puppy who is well trained, potty trained, and crate trained. She is extremely friendly and will be a great playtime companion!:)
“Andrew and Karen took great care of our little lady. She seemed to have a great time with their dog, Finn, and got lots of love and attention. We also appreciated their prompt replies and pictures.”

“Sydney is sound asleep on the couch. He gets so excited to see Michelle. This was his first overnight stay. We are looking forward to booking more overnight doggy days and overnight stays. Thank you for taking great care of our Sydney.”

“Lucia was able to accommodate my last minute boarding request for my puppy. She's communicative, flexible, and provided a very welcoming home. I received multiple photos a day and even came back to a groomed dog. I would recommend Lucia!”

“Jillian was fantastic! This was our first time using Rover and the experience exceeded our expectations. She offers one client at a time service which was bonus since we have a senior paced dog and a crazy puppy. Jillian was extremely responsive and provided pictures daily. Her fenced in backyard was great and the dogs really enjoyed roaming around. We will definitely use Jillian again on our next vacation without the dogs!”

“Beatriz and her family are wonderful people who truly care about your pets. I was nervous about leaving my two yorkies who have some health issues and require twice daily medications. She took them on without a second thought. She sent me pictures and updates to help me feel at ease. When I came to get them, my dogs were relaxed/very comfortable there. I would recommend her to anyone who needs a pet sitter.”

About: While I am currently unemployed and staying at my parents home, our family dog (Havanese) of 17 years recently passed away in February 2026. Now that my mother is retiring this summer, we wish to fill the empty home, and our combined newly gained free time, with some furry friends! For in-home boarding we will be a mother-son team with pretty wide open schedules to care for our furry guests, and will provide a great big house and yard in a great pet-friendly neighborhood for them to enjoy! I can also sit at your home if that is more convenient for you and the pet. My parents dog recently passed away at the age of 17. While I was living with them I helped to raise and care for her throughout the years. I thankfully and gratefully have always had dogs to care for throughout my entire life, from as a young child all the way to just recently with the passing of our most recent dog in February 2026. Your pet will have our full attention and their health and happiness will be the priority. We don't live very busy lives and have lots of extra free time now to care for them.
“Lucas did a great job watching our two dogs while we were away. Communication was easy and everything went smoothly. We’d definitely trust him to watch them again and would recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable sitter”

“Coralee and her family were incredible. I got videos and/or photos everyday of our little lady. Our dog LOVED it at Coralee’s. Typically after boarding she gets in the car and starts whining and crying, but this time she immediately laid down and went to sleep. She was so exhausted from all the fun! I’m not sure she even wanted to go home with us! I would HIGHLY recommend Coralee to anyone. We’ve already got 2 more bookings with her for the summer, and I’m sure our pup is looking forward to playing with her friends again.”

“Olivia is great and very accommodating! I asked for her help last minute and she didn’t hesitate to step up. I have 2 cats and they both love her. I know she also has a pet dog of her own and has had pet cats as well. She is a natural with animals and we appreciated her help.”

“Ashlyn was great. She came 4x a week for 5-6 weeks when I was out of state. She stayed and played with my cat for a bit and didn't just feed, clean, and run. I will 100% use her again.”

“I cannot recommend Gary enough to anyone new to Rover or the local area. Gary was an excellent communicator, eager to help out, and took amazing care of my two cats. He sent pictures and updates every time he visited and I had full confidence that my cats were getting the care and love they needed while I was away. If I could give 6 stars I would!”

“Hailey did a wonderful job visiting our 3 cats while we were on vacation! She communicated with us what was happening with them, sent pictures, and even helped bring in our mail and packages and water our outdoor plants! My mind was at ease while vacationing that our home and pets were taken care of. I would definitely recommend her for your pets needs!!”

“I knew I could count on Cristina to make sure Caley was taken care of. Even though Cristina tried very hard to take pictures of Caley, she continued to be evasive from new people. Maybe next time. Christina even vacuumed the carpet in the room with the liter box!”

“Sarah was absolutely wonderful!!!! I have an older cat who gets very confused when we leave and usually don’t come downstairs. He loved Sarah she was so kind with him and she even took care of our son’s goldfish he had won! If you are looking for someone to trust with your fur babies it is Sarah!!!!”

“Amanda was responsive and took multiple pictures each visit. She also did not mind last minute changes in regards to feeding my fish, key drop -off, etc, and could be reached with questions, concerns and updates by phone easily. When I did not respond to the pictures she was sending she even reached out to my personal contact to make sure I was getting them after a couple of days. Will definitely recommend and will be using in the future if available”

“Jessica was great! She took very good care of BJ and kept up updated the whole time with texts and photos :) Thank you very much Jessica! We definitely recommend Jessica and you can feel very safe leaving your pet with her.”

“Carol has been very responsive and has taken in our girl Georgie. Georgie is a little timid and backwards at first, but Carol made her feel right at home. About: I've had a strong passion for animals for as long as I can remember. Growing up, my family relied on me to care for our dogs, cats, and hamsters. I now live in my own home with 4 cat children. On the weekends, I have plenty of free time to hang out, play in the yard, or go for walks with your pet. In my home, I have 4 cats of varying ages (1 yr, 3 yrs, 4 yrs, 6yrs). They are friendly and well-adapted to other dogs and cats. They often have playdates with my parent's 16 year old cat and 7 month old kitten. Each of my cats are vaccinated, neutered, and love making new friends! In your home, I will accommodate any requests you may have. I will ensure the safety and happiness of your pet above all else.

About: I have taken care of two of the most precious weenies for the last 10 years. While their owners traveled the world I walked and cared for them. I would love to be able to experience new breeds and also get outdoors since I love fitness and exercise. As a former bikini competitor, and gym rat I crave everything fitness. Can’t wait to meet some new 4 legged friends!!! Wednesday afternoon, Saturdays and Sundays are best. I am a full time medical assistant the other days. On my half days and weekends off I enjoy anything outside and absolutely love parks to explore! If you’d ask my husband I go above and beyond with pets! 😆 I am a little high maintenance when it comes to care. I currently only have hens, but if you’d ask anyone they live in the Taj Mahal of coops
“Valerie was absolutely fantastic! From the moment we met her, we felt completely comfortable leaving Dusty in her care. She was reliable, communicative, attentive, and clearly genuinely loves animals. She sent thoughtful updates and photos, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. Our girl came home happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for…❤️ Valerie went above and beyond in every way, and it’s obvious she treats the pets she watches like family. We would not hesitate to book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, kind, and dependable. Thank you, Valerie, for taking such amazing care of our furry family member!”

I’m currently a college student with a flexible class schedule, which allows me to spend plenty of quality time with pets throughout the week. Taking care of animals is a great way for me to relax and recharge between classes—it honestly makes my day better! I make sure every pet in my care feels safe, happy, and loved. About: I have been watching animals as my full-time profession for over 12 years. I am very loving, nurturing, patient, trustworthy, organized and dependable, which helps me succeed in my speciality of watching the animals out of their homes. However, I do have a very friendly shih-tzu in my home that allows me to watch dogs in my home as well. Half of my yard is fenced in, and the other 1/2 has two leads in case there are dogs that may need separated. I also will walk them daily for exercise. At the meet and greets, I go over a plan where we set the number of hours I can be gone for my walks and visits, and I work within the time frame requested. However, if your pets need let out, fed, etc any where under six hours, I will need to adjust my pricing. I have to honor my regular customers as well. I have worked with all sizes of dog, administer medications, insulin injections, seizure experience, and am known to be very strong, and able to handle the larger breeds. I also have worked with dogs with severe anxiety issues, abused dogs, puppies and blind/deaf elderly dogs. I hope this helps you decide in your search for your furry family members. Please reach out to me for your animals care needs. Barks and Meows, Sandy This is my full time job so I have plenty of time to care for your animals. I set up an allotted time I can be gone and work within those limits. At my home I have two leads in my large yard, or they can be walked daily if needed. I never let them outside on their own. At your home I follow your instructions so that their safety is protected. This is my full time profession, so my rates maybe slightly higher than some, but I leave the dogs very minimally. I gave more time to spend with your animals. I have a large yard with 4 leads. Also half of my yard is fenced in. They are never left outside unattended. Will provide daily walks as well if needed. Someone is always home with your dogs but could be crated if needed. At your home if I watch your animals, I am very trustworthy and follow directions to a tee. I respect your home and leave it the same as when I got there.

I retire and moved to Pittsburgh on February, 2023. It makes me a perfect match for your doggy. I will treat them as if they were mine. NO cages. I have a fenced runner connected to the pets' room that allows them to safely go in and out whenever they want. You can bring their bed or any special toys. I foster rescued dogs from PR that came to Pittsburgh looking for a second chance of life, and the money earn through Rover is used to cover their health and traveling expenses. I work from home, and my office is in the room where they will spend their stay, so they will be with me most of the day, and they will be able to play with my own dogs under supervision. If they are potty trained and well behaved, they will have permission to access all the house. To be able to satisfy you pup's needs, I will ask you to write down your special instructions and promise I will follow them as written. You will receive a lot of daily pictures of your furry friends.

My wife is also home most of the day, so we have plenty of time throughout the week to give your dog the attention they need! About: I started caring for animals at age 4 when I began riding and working at a barn with 25 horses. At age 14, I began my first job at a pet grooming and boarding facility. At 19, I began pet sitting for families on my summers home from college. Animals have always been a big part of my life and I enjoy spending my time with them. I have cared for animals of all ages, so I am equipped with the knowledge to handle seniors, babies, and everyone in between. I have also cared for animals of all sizes, so I am able to handle animals from hamsters to horses. I have had years of experience administering medicine both orally and through injection. My experience allows me to notice details that keep animals safe, happy, and well cared for. I work a part time job working with kids. I am at that job from 8:30am-1:30pm Monday-Friday. In the evening, I go to the gym for an hour or two. I am a homebody, so if I’m not at work or in the gym, I will be spending all my time with your pet, giving them the attention and love that they deserve. I love spending time outside, so I try to take pets on walks or have them run around outside with me when I can. If our time cannot be spent outside, playtime is brought inside. We play until one of us needs to take a breather (usually the pet wins). During the evening, generally I spend quality time cuddling with pets while watching a movie or doing some schoolwork. I like taking pictures with pets to send to owners so they know their fur baby is well taken care of and happy.
About: I recently relocated from Johnstown to McKeesport and am looking forward to meeting all the new pups in the area! I have been dog sitting for the past few years now and absolutely love it! My family has always had dogs since I can remember. I got my first dog, Ruby, named after the children’s show Max and Ruby, when I was 4 years old. I have loved caring for dogs ever since. Ruby is even still kicking at 18 years old! I now have a second dog, a 2 year old Husky who loves to play. I’ve trained many dogs, older and puppies since I can remember. I also have a lot of experience with elderly dogs, Ruby being a prime example. We go on walks often and I have basic dog training experience. I work part-time fully from home. I make my own schedule for work so I am completely flexible. The only time I ever leave the house is to take my dogs somewhere, dog park, hiking trail, etc. I am available every day and do same day bookings so feel free to reach out whenever you need! My dogs are very friendly and love other dogs. We also have 2 cats that play with our dogs as well. I have a fully fenced in yard to give your fur baby plenty of room to run around freely and play.
About: Hi! Some things you might like to know about me: I’m a wife, I love animals (obviously) the outdoors, gardening, reading, history and I’m a nurse who graduated from Saint Vincent college - I could be a great fit for you and your pet! I’ve had many growing up: dogs, cats, goats, chickens and bunnies. I’m very comfortable with caring for animals and have experience with all different kinds from my own pets, friends, and animal shelter volunteering. I’m also open to watch and care for any other types of pets that might not fit the category of cat or dog! Message me so we can discuss! As a nurse, I only work 3 days per week! Typically one time or “on occasion” jobs work best, and attending 2x daily might not be possible if it’s on a day that i work and my 3 days that I work vary from week to week. However, please reach out anyways to see if this could be a perfect fit! I’d love to see what i could do. I’m a very responsible and organized person, so I could safely play with your dog(s) or cat(s) in your home or around the neighborhood. Being a nurse has made me much more aware and attentive of needs such as fresh water availability, food, safety and happiness for both people and animals!
About: I have loved animals since I was a small child. I got my first cat over 15 years ago and still love her dearly. My parents wouldn’t allow me to have a dog so I had to wait until I moved out when I was 20. After buying my house I rescued my neighbors dog that was permanently locked up in an outdoor kennel. Unfortunately she already had Lyme disease so it was for less than a year that I was able to give her a good quality of life. I then adopted my ex-coworkers German Shepard who was 5. Unfortunately despite all my efforts to have her live longer than her lifespan I lost her years later due to paralyzing seizures. Not too long after that I sold my house and have not been stable enough to get another dog due to my constant traveling. I love dogs and want to have another but can’t make a life long commitment at this time. However I can make a day/week/month long commitment to take care of your loved dog. It would be a pleasure to take care of your fur baby/babies. I work from home so I’m only gone for a couple/few hours out of the day to go to the gym and maybe grocery shop. I frequently go on walks when the weather permits and would love to bring your dog with me. If you have a dog who pulls as hard as they can I do prefer that you have a gentle leader. I am available all days and times when I am not traveling. I have a large yard at the end of a cul-de-sac in a nice neighborhood. I do have two cats who have lived with dogs before. If watching your loved pet I ask for details on what your expectations are to insure that you are 100 percent satisfied with my care for your fur baby.
About: I come from a house where pets are treated like family members. From bunnies to horses, Ive had experience with many. I can also administer medication. I have my own organic dog treats business and I will take care of your babies as I do my own! I am currently working a full-time from home with my pups. I have a big fenced backyard where the dogs can have some outdoor time and we love going for walks. I have two small dogs that are very friendly and a doberman! They are super playful and love other dogs. I work from home full-time and my office is where my pups are. They are spoiled all day long. My dogs are very friendly and love to play but if at any point they need a little break, there is plenty of space for one on one time! I have a fenced backyard where they spend some time and a door that connects to my office so they can choose when to be inside or outside.
“Gary has been friendly and easy-going. Will definitely book again. I appreciate the attention to detail he gives each of the dogs and their walking/feeding habits. Thanks very much!”

“Had a last minute same day request for our 6 month old puppy Zari! Rebecca responded immediately and was able to accommodate the drop in/walk visit! Communication was excellent. We will be utilizing her again in the future.”

About: I have experience in puppy obedience training and leash training, oral medication administration, experience handling dogs of all ages and sizes, especially with caring for stubborn dogs. Also I am very familiar with taking care of pups with anxiety or different fears. I am a full time student at Boston University, but have long breaks throughout my day where I could care for nearby pets in need of attention or walks, meaning lunchtime check ins or walks work particularly well with my schedule. I am happy to follow any preferences you have for pet care, including crating your dog (I have extensive experience crate training an unruly giant schnauzer puppy), leash preferences, and feeding schedules. I typically bring water bowls and extra water for my dogs on walks to keep them feeling their best and treats to keep them engaged (treat type depending on what your dog typically eats).
About: I’ve had dogs all my life and have taken great care to ensure they are as happy as can be! I also occasionally dog sit for some senior dogs in my area! I am currently available every day of the week! I am more than happy to take your babies on walks, drop in, or dog sit any day including weekends! At this time I do not have any other pets in my home, I have a huge yard in a quiet neighborhood, if your fur baby needs extra care or attention I am more than happy to provide it!
About: My name is Darcy and I am a single Mom of 3 older girls , 3 dogs, and a very large boa! We are an animal loving family! I have had pets my whole life and worked full-time for a local Humane Society for over 4 years as well as a traditional boarding kennel for 2 years. I look forward to caring for others pets while they are away, as well as offering the assurance and comfort to a pet owner that their baby is being taken care of in a safe, professional and loving manor outside of a kennel environment. I also have experience with elderly and special needs animals. I have a flexible work schedule so I can work around your schedule! I can come up to three times a day, whatever times you may need. Whatever your wishes are for your pet as far as crating, running in a fenced yard, or having to be individually walked I am open to working to keep your pet on the same routine as if you were home!

I believe respect for animals, owners, and their environment to be super important. I adhere to any rules and guidelines when entering a client's home and I work to provide my client's pet with my utmost attention and full energy.

“Gary did a great job taking care of our two dogs (whom we couldn't bear to leave anywhere but a home environment). He was prompt and thorough in his communications, and his depth of experience in dog care was evident. I'd recommend him without hesitation!”

“Destiny was super easy to deal with. Great communication. Simple drop off and pick up. Pictures of the dog lounging around living her best life. Will book everytime if she's available!”

“Erin was an excellent sitter for my nervous Bijou. She was extremely patient with her and respected her space. The whole trip Erin sent me updates and pictures on a regular basis, which soothed my own personal separation anxiety.”

“Victoria was very accommodating went out of her way to make my beagle Hunter feel like one of the family. Sadly to the extent that he didn't want to come home :( She sent me pictures during his stay and when hunter chewed and tore his blanket she patched it back up for him. you could tell he enjoyed staying there and She gave me advise for him. I definitely will be having her sit my Hunter in the future. I recommend her highly..”

“I would recommend Kimberly to anyone thinking of leaving their precious pets with her. She makes you feel very comfortable and makes accomodations so that your pets are well cared for. She even asked me where they sleep at home and offered to let them sleep in the same place ( in the master bedroom) at her home. WOW!!! She is a true animal lover and it shows!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND”

About: Hi, I'm Angela! I’ve spent my entire life surrounded by dogs, and I truly believe a home isn’t complete without the sound of four paws on the floor. I recently said goodbye to my beloved Pit Bull, Bia. She was my world, and I want to treat your pup with the same devotion, patience, and affection that I gave to her. My fiancée, Lauren, and I have her two dogs 2 weeks out of the month and they are great with other dogs and love to make friends! I work from home during the day and am a dance teacher in the evening. Between the two of us we have flexibility most of the day for house visits, walks, boarding, and daycare! I work from home during the day and my fiancée is home in the evening so we have a flexible schedule to give your furkid lots of love and attention! I have a large backyard on a quiet residential street and 2 sweet dogs part time who love to make friends! I have the ability to crate dogs of all size in my home and will not accept dogs from multiple families at one time so your baby will be spoiled!
“Ashley was exceptionally kind and attentive to my dog, my VAL felt at home, no stress and actually missed Ashley after leaving which says allot. I highly recommend her. There’s not enough stars above that represents my rating, 🙏.”

About: Animals have been part of my life since day one. I grew up with dogs and cats of all personalities! I currently share my home with Kisses, my calico, and Teddy, my German Shorthaired Pointer — one of the highest-energy breeds out there — so if your dog goes a mile a minute, I'm more than ready for it!! Over the years I've dog sat for all sizes and breeds — from tiny lap dogs to large, boisterous pups — and I treat every single one like they're my own. Your pet will be loved, played with, and completely spoiled. My home has a fully fenced backyard with plenty of room to run, zoom, and explore that's perfect for dogs who need to burn off some energy. I'm also comfortable administering medication, so pets with special health needs are absolutely welcome. Your baby will get the same attentive care at my place that they get at home. Whether your pet needs a calm, cozy stay or a high-energy playmate, I've got them covered. I can't wait to meet your furry family member! I work remotely with a very flexible schedule, which means pet care is never an afterthought. It's woven into my whole day. I'm home the majority of the week, and on the rare occasion I do step out, I'm never gone for more than 3 hours. Your pet will always have someone present, attentive, and ready to play, cuddle, or just keep them company. No long stretches alone, ever. My home is set up thoughtfully for both dogs and cats. The layout is split-level, with cats having full run of the upstairs and dogs enjoying the main floor plus access to the fully fenced backyard — plenty of space to play, explore, and burn energy safely. The two never have to share space unless everyone is comfortable. I do have a resident calico and a German Shorthaired Pointer, both of whom are friendly and social, so I do ask that visiting pets are comfortable around other animals of their kind. I always offer a free meet-and-greet before booking so we can make sure everyone — pets and people — feels good about the stay before any commitment is made. My home is puppy-proofed and high-energy-dog-ready, and I have 24/7 SimpliSafe security monitoring for added peace of mind. You can expect regular photos and updates throughout every stay because you shouldn't have to wonder how your pet is doing. When caring for pets in your home, I follow your instructions exactly. Your routines, your rules — meal times, crate preferences, favorite toys, walking routes — I stick to all of it. I respect your home as if it were my own, always clean up after your dog outside, and scoop litter boxes daily. Your pet's comfort and your peace of mind are the whole point.
“Our dogs always have a great time when they stay with Valerie. They get tons of walks, playtime, and plenty of time to be couch potatoes. She is very good at sending updates and pictures and I'd highly recommend her to anyone looking for a sitter!”

“She was amazing with my Tucker. He is very energetic and he was very happy. Fast responses to texts and plenty of pictures. Tucker was very sad to leave. Will definitely use her again.”
