About: I have taken care of cats of every kind since I was 10 years old. Neighbors, friends, and family have relied on me to check in with, feed, and play with their beloved pets. Whether it is providing routine care, administering medication, or simply offering plenty of extra affection and playtime, I treat every animal as if they were my own. I'm currently working part-time, so I'll have plenty of time to play with your pups. I'm available for boarding on weekends, and weekdays after 2pm. I can also do drop-in visits during the day if needed, and I'm happy to provide updates and photos to keep you informed about your pet's well-being. I have a fenced yard and two friendly dogs to keep your fur baby company. I can easily crate your dog if needed, and I ensure they get plenty of exercise and attention. I am also comfortable administering medication and following specific dietary instructions to maintain your pet's health and routine.

About: Hello! I have a dog that is 2 years old and he is my little baby! Before I got him my dad and I would watch dogs in our house from the year 2019 up until we got our own! I do my best to make sure they’re fed, loved and played with! I am currently going to college to be a Vet Tech so I would love to be of service to anyone who needs their dog watched, played with, walked or anything!! Please don’t hesitate to book with me ☺️ I am currently working full time time 7-3 on weekdays and weekends. The schedule varies each week but I would be more than happy to take care of your fur baby’s after 3:45! I care for other people’s fur baby as much as I care for my own. If I had someone watching my dog I would want to know that they are playing with him and making sure he feels loved! I will do that with your fur baby’s!

I will communicate with you through text and photos while your away so that you know your dog is having a great time and in good hands while missing you. About: Hello! My name is Tabatha Garman, I am the sole owner and operator of Special Paws Pet Care and a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT). As a veterinary technician, I play the nurse role of the veterinary team. I graduated from Kent State University with my Associate's degree in Veterinary Technology in May of 2021 and am currently pursuing my Bachelor's of Integrated Studies focused in animal behavior. While in school for my technician license, I gained various hands-on skills with a variety of animals, from dogs and cats to birds, horses, snakes, and much more. Outside of school, I have trained at numerous veterinary hospitals and gained vital experience in CPR and emergency response. My personal experience caring for animals expands far beyond my education and career, as I have cared for my own, family's, and friend's pets my entire life. As previously mentioned, I have a vast range of experience with different species from small pocket pets and reptiles to large and farm animals. I love working with nearly any species, especially pigs and cows! My medication administration skills are just as vast, including giving various types of injections and fluids, oral pill and liquid administration, topical applications, etc. Any pets with special needs are assured to be taken care of! Specializing in animal behavior, those with unique personalities or who are a bit grumpy or naturally prefer alone time are some of my favorite to work with. I love working to understand them and win them over and am happy to try to work with any type of disposition or behavioral challenges. No job is too big or small. Whether you have a pet that needs daily medication, help getting around, and extra special care, or just want to feel comforted knowing that your furry family member is in great hands, I am happy to care for any and all of them. I am currently dedicating my time to in-home pet care while going to school full-time online, so I am free to fit your pet into my schedule however you may need. While I do personalize my schedule to fit your pet specifically, my typical day is scheduled like this and changed as needed, just to give you a better idea of your pet's time with me: When I arrive, I always spend time making sure your pet is happy, comfortable, and has everything they need. When staying with them overnight, I will keep them company until morning, make sure they have everything they need and get some pets or playtime in, then I will leave as needed to tend to any other appointments, making sure to return to check-in and spend time with them at minimum every 3-4 hours, unless more frequently is needed. Whether you just need a daily check in and play time for your cat while you're away, or if you need someone to take your pup out every couple of hours along with walks and lots of play time, or even if you have an older pup who can't really spend time alone at all, we can definitely make a plan to suit your family purrr-fectly. Your pet's safety is always my top priority. Whether at home, in the car, at the vet, out for a walk, or at the park, I am always extremely diligent to make sure your pet stays safe and sound. I always use doggy seatbelts or enclosures when driving, reflective strips and flashlights at night, ramps and manual assistance for mobility-challenged pups, predator-deterrent to protect them from harm, and vet-approved chews or boredom busters to make sure your pup is happier and healthier when you arrive back home. Out of an abundance of caution, I typically do not have pets I'm watching interact with other pets I'm unfamiliar with (ie: no communal dog parks). In the case that anything does happen while I am with them, I am trained on the safest and most effective way to stop a dog fight, as well as being trained in CPR, emergency triage and response, and homeostatic stabilization. I also always have a list of the nearest emergency hospitals on hand should they ever be needed. I strive to follow all pet-parent's wants and needs for their pets, including whatever training or rules you may have for your pet while they are in my care (crating, treats, toys, etc).
