About: Hello! I am home for the summer and looking to spend my time with adorable pets and show them some love! I have been taking care of my two dogs since the 5th grade and I just graduated college. I love going for walks and playing fetch. I’m also content chilling on the couch and watching doggies nap. Most days I don’t have any obligations throughout the whole day and can work my daily tasks and errands around walking or checking on dogs. I always make sure my pets have water available all the time, especially in the summer. My dogs usually go on a leash when they are outside, and I feel most comfortable walking dogs with a leash. My dogs eat at the same time every day and get lots of attention when inside.

“Kari was excellent with my 11yo diabetic cat! She was able to monitor his food intake and give him insulin shots when needed. When he didn't eat right away, she was able to hang around a little so the shot could be administered. I can't tell you how much I appreciated that! The daily pics were great too. About: I’ve been a dog owner my entire life and have had experience owning other pets such as geckos, cats, and snakes. I’ve been a pet sitter for a little over two years. My true passion for pet sitting comes from my desire to be accompanied by them, dogs specifically. I work with dogs of all ages, temperaments, and personalities. Dogs of all backgrounds tend to gravitate towards me and I have never had any negative interactions. While studying for my undergrad, I was actually in charge of all the live animal specimens present on the University grounds. Feeding, exercise, and handling/care were done daily, which can explain my comfortability and familiarity with pet care. I currently am home as I finish my masters degree online so my daily schedule is fairly free. I workout and do part-time contract work when I am not doing schoolwork. I’m extremely flexible and will be willing to meet your needs as best as possible. Simply put, I treat the pets like they are my own. I ensure they are met with sufficient attention, exercise, nutrition, and safety while under my supervision. Minimizing stress is my biggest concern (my dog has separation anxiety so I know how it can be). I’ve found it helpful in the past to use my own dog as a bridge between myself and the client’s pet, as his presence tends to build confidence and reassurance.

About: I received my Bachelor's Degree in Animal Studies from Wilson College. I was a Kennel Technician at a boarding facility as well as a doggy daycare for a few years.
