About: I’ve always loved animals and have taken care of different kinds of animals for most of my life! And I am looking forward to meeting yours! I always have such a fun time watching and hanging out with animals, and like to take time to hangout with the pets and give them extra loving so they don’t feel lonely while their parents are away! I currently work 2-10s, Monday- Friday but will be able to check on animals throughout the day and stay over night if needed. I am more than willing to go on daily walks, do multiple drop in visits everyday and make sure they get a potty break at night. I would be available to watch your pets from your home and should be able and willing to execute any requirements needed for your pets.
About: Hi! I’m a huge dog lover and proud dog mom to two very different (and very loved) pups — Pippin and Huckleberry. Huckleberry is my sweet senior little curmudgeon who used to be quite the adventurer but has embraced naps and slower days with age, while Pippin is a total people-person who believes the best place in the world is right next to you (preferably getting hugs!). Having two dogs with completely different personalities — and seeing how those personalities can change over time — has taught me that every pet is unique and deserves care tailored to who they are. Some dogs want playtime and adventure, some want cuddles and reassurance, and some just want someone who understands their routine and quirks — I’m happy to meet them where they are. I’m energetic, friendly, dependable, and genuinely love spending time with animals. I’ve done drop-in visits for friends and understand how important it is to have someone you trust caring for your pets while you’re away. Whether your dog needs potty breaks, companionship, playtime, belly rubs, patience, or just a cozy buddy nearby, I’ll care for them like family. You can count on lots of love, attention, and updates while your pet is in my care. My goal is to make sure both you and your pet feel comfortable, happy, and cared for. I’d love to meet your furry family member and give them the same kindness and attention I give Pippin and Huckleberry! I work from home full-time and have a flexible schedule, which makes it easier for me to fit in drop-in visits and be responsive to your pet’s needs. I don’t take on a large number of clients because I want to make sure the pets I care for get lots of attention, care, and consistency. I’m happy to work a few furry friends into my routine and make sure they feel cared for and loved while you’re away! Since I only offer care in your home, my goal is to help your pet feel safe, comfortable, and relaxed in the environment they already know and love. I like to start with a meet-and-greet so I can get to know your pet, learn their routine, and help them feel comfortable with me before visits begin. Once I get to know them, I’m all about making pets feel loved and cared for! I provide lots of praise, affection, playtime, and snuggles (if they enjoy them). Whether your pet is energetic and playful, shy and cautious, or prefers a slower pace, I’ll meet them where they are. I’ll follow your care instructions closely, keep routines consistent, and make sure your pet feels safe, happy, and well cared for while you’re away.
About: I’ve never known life without animals! I currently have two dogs and three cats and two ferrets of my own. I can’t wait to show your animals the same amount of care that I show mine! Currently, my schedule is open! so I will have plenty of time to play with your pets! Just send me a message and I can work you into my schedule! I don’t currently offer boarding in my home as my pets love their privacy, but I’m happy to watch your fur babies in their own space!
About: I'm a stay-at-home mom to a toddler and my 7yr old English Springer Spaniel, Ginny. I had dogs growing up and have had Ginny since she was 6 weeks old - so I have some puppy experience. I would love to walk, play with, and care for your fur-baby! Because I am a stay-at-home mom my schedule is very flexible. I can do drop-ins and walks multiple times a day, 7 days a week. I consider my dog Ginny one of my children, and I plan to do the same with your pup! I am observant of behaviors and the needs of your fur-baby, so you can feel confident that your four-legged child is taken care of while you are away!
About: I am a huge animal lover with experience dog walking, brushing dogs' teeth, making sure they have their medications on time, and house sitting. I have had dogs and cats of my own as well. I look forward to meeting your pet and keeping them happy and healthy while you're away. <3 I am mostly looking for the occasional opportunity to help out. I have weekend availability and would work best with someone who I looking for a house-sitter or morning walks. I will care for your pets by following your instructions. I have an active lifestyle so if they need walking, great! I also have experience with medications and cleaning.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
