About: I love animals! I am a recently retired teacher with, currently, no pets at home, having said goodbye to our cat in November. While I do miss having a pet at home, I want to help others while fulfilling that longing. I have a lot of love to give your sweet fur baby! I just retired from teaching so will have lots of time to love on the pets under my care! My husband, who is also a pet lover, works from home. We do not currently have our own pet but can offer play dates with our super social grand dog who loves to visit our house! I have a fenced yard and a small plastic dog pool and dog splash pad. Weather permitting, I love taking walks and playing outside. I am very cautious about protecting pets during our hot Texas summers!

I have hands-on experience with both energetic puppies and gentle senior pets,including my own little Yorkie and senior cat, so I understand how to meet a wide range of needs. I’m confident handling medications, following detailed routines, and giving pets the attention and affection they need to feel safe and happy. I also know how important it is to communicate with pet parents, so I provide regular updates and photos for peace of mind. To me, pet care isn’t just a job, it’s something I truly enjoy and take to heart. Pet care fits really naturally into my daily routine, I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals, so it never feels like a work. I’m currently available on weekdays from 10am to 6pm, and also Saturday mornings until noon. That gives me plenty of flexibility for walks, feedings, playtime, or check-ins. I’m happy to work around your pet’s needs to make sure they feel loved and well cared for! At home, I live in a townhouse with an unfenced backyard, so I always take pets out on a leash for walks and potty breaks—never unattended. I also have a little Yorkie and a senior cat, so I’m very comfortable with pets of different ages and personalities. I don’t use a crate unless you specifically ask me to—I want your pet to feel as relaxed and at home as possible. In your home, I’m respectful, tidy, and make sure to keep your pet’s routine consistent. Whether I’m in your space or mine, your pet will be treated with love, patience, and lots of care—and I’ll keep you updated along the way!
