About: Our dogs and cats are not just pets, but furry members of our families. I approach animal care with compassion and dignity, knowing that each furry friend is a unique character with traits and a personality all of their own. I've lived with dogs for the past 20 years, and have sat and provided dog/cat care for many of my friends. I currently reside with one dog, Bisquit who is 16 years old and everyone's favorite little dog. I'm excited for the chance to get to know your dog and give them love and individual attention! I'm a disabled veteran getting by on my disability, so I have a lot of free time to provide pet care. I'm available 7 days a week from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. with same day notice. I provide animal care to the exact standards and care instructions given to me by the human counterpart. You're the expert of your pet, and I strive to provide at least the same level of loving care given by their family. I provide updates and check ins with photos, and am available by phone if something should come up.

About: I absolutely love dogs ! They truly are man’s best friend till the end. I have two dogs of my own , whom I love very much ! I have experience in dog sitting as well as dog walking and I am passionate about providing good care and excited to meet new pups! I fit pet care into my day/week routine because I have two dogs of my own. One is a pit bull and another is a boarder collie so to say they need care is an understatement. They have the upmost energy. I will play with them and wear them out so they get a good nights sleep. With that being said we walk, hike, run, go to the beach, play fetch , etc. as much as we can. I treat my puppies very kindly , if not they’re quite spoiled. 😉 I care very deeply about animals and I aim to help when I can !

About: My senior dog is constantly active which is surprising so I try and keep him as busy as possible. Some of the other older dogs I take my time with while taking them on walks. If they walk extremely slow. Other dogs tend to sniff everything which I have patience for. When a dog brings me a toy it’s an indicator for me to play with them. I work Monday through Friday so weekends are best. I take care of my own dog throughout the week with my significant other watching him on the weekends when I’m not home. I walk my dog multiple times a day knowing it’s a good way to keep him active. In my own home I watch my dog when he eats. He has 2 teeth when we adopted him so when he eats his food, I watch him very carefully. Anytime I’m not home I put on a YouTube video for dogs so he has some sound. When it comes to other animals I’ve watched, if it’s a full day I would prefer not to leave them alone. Taking them out multiple times a day and of course plenty of love!

I’m especially patient with shy, anxious, senior, or routine-oriented pets and understand the importance of consistency and gentle care. I have a caregiving background, so I’m very attentive, dependable, and comfortable monitoring behavior changes, following detailed care instructions, and providing extra reassurance when needed. About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 7 years old. Friends, family’s, and neighbors all trust me with their pup. Everything I do is with extra love. Wether that be putting ice in the water bowls, a couple extra minutes of cuddling, and sometimes maybe giving them one too many treats! My passion for animals, specially dogs is something I’ve always had and it grows stronger and stronger every day. Dogs are a girls bestfriend, not diamonds. ❤️ Pet care fits into my daily and weekly routine because currently I work from home, and have a lot of free time. I’m able to work around pretty much any schedule, I will just need to know a couple days in advance. Dogs are allowed on my bed, so they won’t ever be left alone or unsupervised. I’ll make sure to walk them however many times you need me to per day.

“Rebecca is AMAZING! This was our first time using Rover/having a housesitter and it exceeded all of our expectations. Our Newfoundland has some anxiety around new people but Rebecca was kind enough to come before the stay and meet her and stayed at our house for almost an hour letting her get comfortable with her presence and snuggling our cats while we told her about our fur-babies preferences and personalities. I could tell our Newfoundland, Gaia, felt comfortable when she went and laid at her feet for the last half of her visit. I felt incredibly confident leaving for vacation after that and Gaia was excited to see her on the morning we left. Rebecca checked in every day during the week she stayed at our house and sent pictures and updates of how calm and happy our three pets were throughout her stay. It made me feel reassured and I was really able to enjoy our vacation knowing our pets were just as happy as we were! My husband and I kept saying to each other how much nicer this was than boarding the animals (the last time we went away we had Gaia boarded at a vet and she had panicked herself into a seizure and I spent my vacation feeling awful about it all). We will absolutely be calling Rebecca for every vacation from now on as long as she is available!! She is an absolute gem and we returned to a pristine and perfect home with happy pets that were well cared for. I couldn’t be more grateful or happy with the way it all worked out!”

I’m currently signed up with Trusted Housesitters and have references there as well as from other private clients. I have experience taking care of all kinds of animals from cats and dogs to goats, chickens, and horses. I have a very flexible schedule as I own rental properties and can work remotely. I also do residential housekeeping, but my clients are flexible with their cleaning schedules as well. I can bring my dog to your home for doggy play dates or leave her home with the rest of her family if you prefer.
