About: I am a Special Education teacher who works at a Therapeutic School by day and an animal lover all day and night. I do not have kids but I have 3 cats and babysit my friends and families fur babies any chance I get. Pets have free range of my home, they can relax on the couch, chair and bed whenever they want. I have experience watching dogs from pups-elderly. I volunteer at a local animal rescue in Palatine and bring in therapy dogs to visit my classroom. I rescued and adopted a deaf kitty with one eye, and I've always had animals in my home. I am a non-smoker and vegan (vegans really do love animals). For any overnight/weekend stays, I will be home and available to play, go for lots of walks and hangout all weekend long with your fur baby. Regular walks, feedings, playtime and relaxation based on your dogs needs is my priority. I have three loving cats who will keep your dog company. I have a small backyard that is away from cars/traffic and a large front yard. I have a dog tie out and spiral stake for dogs that want to roam around my unfenced front and/or backyard. Playdates with neighboring dogs is always an option or solo, quiet time if they prefer. I can keep your pet on their walking/feeding/play/sleep schedule as you request.

“Karina took great care of Paisley so much so that she felt at home. The whole family is very welcoming. As Paisley is a fussy eater, she made sure to hand feed her daily and allowed her to be on the bed. She was well fed, provided bath when she got dirty, taken out for walks, sent us timely updates with photos and videos, which kept us relaxed during our vacation. We are extremely happy to have found a perfect place for Paisley in the future. Overall, a great experience and there is no doubt that we will continue to use Karina's services going forward. Thank you, Karina for taking care of Paisley and for keeping her happy throughout her 2+ weeks of stay!”
