About: I have worked as a pet boarder and sitter on Rover for about a year. Having previously worked as a certified nursing assistant, I have experience as a caregiver, and one of my greatest passions is caring for pets. Dogs and cats are members of a family, and it is so important to care for them as you would any other family member. I have several years of experience boarding dogs for their owners when they have been on vacation, and have also cared for my own animals throughout my whole life. I also have experience as an animal transporter for West Hancock canine rescue, in which I would work with a team to take dogs and cats from high kill shelters to foster homes or rescues. I also have a wonderful dog I rescued, Ollie, who is friendly and likes to play with other dogs at times. I’m working part-time so have time to play with pups! And our family loves animals, so it’s a great fit for us to pet sit, and we like providing a home environment for owners who need to travel. About: My name is Katherine and I have large history of taking care of all types of dogs and cats. I’ve taken care of small, large, seniors, puppies, non-trained and even dogs that require medication, you name it! From a young age, my parents owned a pet sitting business called Fetch Pet Care and I would always love to help by walking, playing, and eventually learning to train some pooches! I have had about 7 years of total experience taking care of animals and using Rover.com! In 2021 I started my Bachelors in Physical Therapy and have been in school since. I now have a break for the summer and am eager to get back into my passion, which is taking care of pets! In my home, I have a cat named Mocha who has a bit of a medical history. in 2023 of January he was diagnosed with FIP (Feline Infectious Peritonitis). My fiancee and I decided to invest into a medicine called GS to save his life. After 90 days straight of injections, he is now cured and healthy. With that being said, I am able to administer any kind of medicine (orally or injectables) if needed for your pet. I am also able to train dogs at a basic level (teaching commands, potty training), as well as how to roll over, high-five or paw, etc. Being with animals is like therapy to me, I just love spending time with them. I go above and beyond to make sure your dog/cat has a relaxing and fun time! Since it is the summer time for me and I am currently not in school, my schedule is flexible and open for the next few months. There are many things to keep in mind when it comes to taking care of your beloved animals. A typical day with a dog involves walks, playtime, feeding time and resting periods. Based on what kind of exercise your dog needs, I am able to fit into any type of routine. If the dog needs an easy-going, normal walk with lots of potty stops, I would accompany that. If the dog requires lots of exercise and needs to go on a run, I am also able to do that. Health and Safety is crucial when it comes to taking care of animals. If the pet needs to have medicine administered I am able to present that as I have previous experience taking care of animals that need extra care and medicine. I would monitor your pet at all times and make sure it is living in a clean environment.

About: I am a Special Education teacher who works at a Therapeutic School by day and an animal lover all day and night. I do not have kids but I have 3 cats and babysit my friends and families fur babies any chance I get. Pets have free range of my home, they can relax on the couch, chair and bed whenever they want. I have experience watching dogs from pups-elderly. I volunteer at a local animal rescue in Palatine and bring in therapy dogs to visit my classroom. I rescued and adopted a deaf kitty with one eye, and I've always had animals in my home. I am a non-smoker and vegan (vegans really do love animals). For any overnight/weekend stays, I will be home and available to play, go for lots of walks and hangout all weekend long with your fur baby. Regular walks, feedings, playtime and relaxation based on your dogs needs is my priority. I have three loving cats who will keep your dog company. I have a small backyard that is away from cars/traffic and a large front yard. I have a dog tie out and spiral stake for dogs that want to roam around my unfenced front and/or backyard. Playdates with neighboring dogs is always an option or solo, quiet time if they prefer. I can keep your pet on their walking/feeding/play/sleep schedule as you request.

About: Hey! I'm Nate, I'm based in the Chicago area and enjoy getting to know different pets and their owners. I grew up raising a chocolate lab and spent the last 4 years in Austin, TX, periodically helping on my friend's ranch. I'm comfortable looking after various animals though I appreciate a heads-up about aggressive animals. I've found the housesitting experience to be really rewarding and hope to continue meeting amazing people through this journey. :) I currently work remotely, so I'm home most of the day. As long as the location has reliable Wi-Fi, I'm available to sit any day! I keep pets on their usual routine in terms of walks, food, grooming, etc. Some pets prefer more alone time, while others enjoy extra attention, so I try to match their needs, especially in the winter.

About: I’ve had dogs my whole life and my mom used to run a dog sitting business at our house so I was exposed to all kinds of dogs. We used to have dogs of all sizes stay at our house ranging from 5lbs to 120 lbs. I’m especially good with handling big dogs since I used to work as a kennel technician at an animal hospital. We had to walk the dogs regularly and I developed the skill of knowing how to properly handle dogs that pull and don’t walk as well. I worked at a dog day care as well so I’m used to handling multiple dogs at the same time and dividing my attention equally among the dogs. I’m currently home on break from school for 3 weeks and I’m available to walk all kinds of dogs and do drop in visits as needed! I currently offer drop in visits and walks and with this service comes a respect for the person's property and the animals of course. I stride to build a relationship with the dogs I’m walking so they can be more comfortable around me and make our walks or visits more enjoyable. I’m a social person and have no problem answering as many questions and you need me to in order to trust me with your fur babies.

About: I've spent my entire life around pets and animals and have pet sat for a lot of family and friends before. I always have loved spending time with animals and taking care of them. My family has raised a Lab, Goldendoodle, and a German Shepard, we are all pet lovers and are all very caring. I'm available all nights and weekends, on weekdays I have a flexible school schedule that allows me to be home multiple times per day. I am a senior about to graduate so I am taking a small amount of classes. I am very attentive to the pets I have cared for in the past, as well as my current pets. I keep to a schedule for feeding, walking, play time, and letting the pets out multiple times a day. This helps keep things organized and routine. I make sure all is well and keep communicating with their owners. Sending photos and videos to ensure your pet is having a good time.

About: I have personally owned dogs, cats and ferrets. I currently own two very active cats. I have about five years experience pet sitting for cats and dogs and walking dogs. I can provide pet sitting in your own home. I can perform feeding, walking, play time and waste clean up.
