For 15 years I owned a loving house/pet-sitting and dog walking business and I grew up on a ranch so have been caring for animals my entire life, also a cat lady at heart! I've also helped my sister with her dog training business. All of greater Bend, Portland (West Valley/Mac/Salem) areas inc. coast to Newport accepted! I'd love to hike or take gentle walks/play fetch with your pups (had two of my own for many years) and as a homeowner myself I will leave your home clean and well-cared for. Longer stays preferred! I work remotely so am flexible on location in Northern Oregon. This means I have the ability to do midday or evening walks. I hike almost daily so either active or mellow elderly dogs are OK but I'm also a huge cat lover! I enjoy caring for multiple pets in one home with different needs. I'm extremely cautious yet friendly with the animals I am caring for. I have a gentle nature that works well with nervous animals however I also believe in positive reinforcement for those pets that like to push the boundary. I am in tuned to dog & cat body language, have years of experience caring for other parts of a home long-term, and as a homeowner myself am very responsible.

In Client’s Home: I follow your pet’s normal schedule (meals, walks, meds) and keep their environment familiar. Includes updates, litter/yard cleanup, and extra cuddles to reduce stress while you’re away.

We have a sweet 15-year-old Jack Russell named Indie, and I honestly can’t remember a time in my life when I didn’t have a pet. Animals have always been a huge part of our family, and our compassion for them is one of the reasons we chose a vegan lifestyle. I also worked as a veterinary assistant for two years, where I gained hands-on experience caring for pets and supporting their health and well-being. “This was our first time not only using Rover but leaving our 5 month old puppy. Booking with Bridget was easy and she responded quickly. She had our little Moofasa for a weekend. We were a nervous wreck leaving our little guy but she kept in contact with us throughout his stay and shared pictures! She took him to the park and to the beach. From the pictures it looked like he had a great weekend and it made us feel better about leaving him. We would definitely book Bridget again. “Tale’A was great! I would give her 10 stars if I could. She explained and showed me everything about what my dog’s stay would look like. My dog was immediately comfortable with her and her house. Her dog was the perfect match for my dog. I think my dog has a new bff. The backyard is a dream for an active dog. There was plenty of room both inside and out for my dog to roam around and sniff. She made sure he was comfortable and well taken care of. I can’t recommend her enough. My dog had a great time. When I picked him up he was very happy and relaxed. He shows his stress and there was none just a very happy and tired dog from all the playing he did. He snored the whole way on our long drive home.
