Doggy Day Care in Lake Waccamaw

About: I volunteered at an animal shelter for three years in high school, worked at that same shelter for an additional 3 years after volunteering, and continued to foster kittens and dogs for them after I left. I have fostered 19 kittens and 1 dog that required extensive medical care. I have also pet sat several times since then! I love animals and am very patient with ones that need a little extra attention. I also am able to draw pet portraits (charcoal). If you are interested, just ask! I work from home, so if you want someone that will be here all the time aside from a small grocery run, I am your gal! I live on three acres; however, it is not fenced yet. Until we are able to fence it, I will take your dog out on leash. We are in the process of raising the funds to secure the whole property. I do have a dog, so your dog must be dog friendly. He is a 6 year old heeler that loves to play and is vocal. Does not try to dominate other dogs at all. He just wants to be friends. For both of our benefit, I would like to have a play date beforehand just so they can have a friendly introduction. I have had a bad experience in the past where a pet sitter severely neglected my dog the last couple days we were out of town. It is very important to me to make sure all dogs feel loved and safe. I will send you daily updates on how your dog is doing so you can have peace of mind your fur baby is in a safe environment. I know how important that reassurance is to me and I don't expect it to be different for anyone else. My husband will also be here when he isnt working. He is also WONDERFUL with animals.

We set up a initial meet & greet with Karen to see how well our dogs would get along. I was a little nervous because our pup is smaller but Karen’s dog harmony is so well trained and gentle with him my worries were quickly relieved. Karen is amazing with our 4.5 month old pup he loves going to daycare she keeps him on a routine with multiple walks, playtime, naps, food breaks, and potty breaks. He came home a very happy pup. “Digo loves being at daycare! Janet keeps him active and assures that he is socializing with other dogs. She takes him outside often and keeps him inside when weather is not conducive. She introduced him to kiddie pool and she reinforces training including housebreaking and simple commands such as “sit”. Janet is also very flexible with schedule - I’m a nurse and my hours are very early and long! We are very fortunate to have found Janet!”

About: I was raised with dogs and cats. I have two dogs of my own as well as a cat. I also have multiple fish tanks. I know all about loving them like your own. I work from home so I know I’ll be able to give your fur babies enough attention, and love they need while you were gone. Whatever you need I will be able to do for you to assure you while your away that your fur baby is taken care of. PLEASE READ FOR HOUSE SITTING… I will house sit but I cannot spend the night. I will be there as late as you want and as much as you want just can’t spend the night. I am normally there from 7am and officially leave around 11pm and stay for several hours at a time. I will also send lots of photos and updates. DOG BOARDING: I will be home pretty much all the time and when I do need to leave it won’t be for long. They will get the ultimate care that I can give! You will also get daily photos and as many updates as you want! DOGGY DAY CARE: I have a blow up pool in the backyard for the pups to enjoy and an umbrella for shade. As well as plenty of toys and the best companion a two year old chocolate lab to help keep them entertained! You will also get a photo update during the day! No matter what you need I’ll be there to help! Whether that is lots of walking, playing, or cuddles! I’ll make sure they get the proper amount of attention while you’re gone. I treat all my fur babies like my own children and will do the same to yours! I want to make this experience as enjoyable for them as it for you!

About: Hi! My name is Ashleigh I am 28 yrs old. I have 7 years of experience with all types of animals. Your pet will get lots of exercise and snuggles, I treat each one as my own. Their is a park about 5 miles from my house that is dog friendly. I have a 2 year old Great Dane named Cali who is just a gentle giant full of love and energy, I also foster for a rescue based out of whiteville.
