About: I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember and have always enjoyed being around all kinds of pets- from cats and dogs to farm animals. Caring for animals has always come naturally to me, and I’ve dreamed of having the opportunity to spend more time with them. My husband and I moved to Wilmington about 10 years ago, and for much of that time, life kept us so busy that having a pet of our own didn’t feel fair. Since I haven’t had pets of my own during this time, I’ve happily gotten my animal fix by pet sitting for friends and caring for their cats and dogs whenever they’ve needed someone they trust. I work away from home (Registered Nurse since 2016) just one day a week, which gives me plenty of flexibility and time to give your pets the attention, companionship, walks, playtime, and love they deserve. I have a fenced in yard, a nice neighborhood for walks and no other pets to care for. I know how important it is to feel comfortable leaving your pets in someone else’s care, and I’ll treat them like they’re my own.

And each of my family members have had pets that I have been around as well. I also use to volunteer at a wildlife rehabilitation center, where I cared for injured animals. While I do not have much experience outside my own home taking care of my pets, I know how to do so while making sure my clients and their pets are happy.
About: I am a certified, licensed, and insured dog trainer and the owner of Chaos To Clarity K9. I work with dogs and their families on obedience, leash skills, everyday manners, and behavior challenges. Many of the dogs I help are everyday family dogs who need guidance with things like pulling on leash, barking, jumping, reactivity, or learning how to settle in the home. I also enjoy working with puppies and helping owners build strong foundations early through clear communication and consistency. I have a strong interest in behavior modification, especially helping dogs work through fear, stress, and reactivity at a pace that keeps them comfortable and learning. My husband is a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) and a combat veteran and former military police K9 handler who trained civilian police dogs. Because of his veterinary background, I’m also able to consult with him when behavior questions may have a possible medical component, which can sometimes play a role in behavior. I also understand that dogs live in real families with real challenges. I live with multiple sclerosis and am raising an autistic four-year-old, so I appreciate how important it is for training to be practical, realistic, and supportive of the household environment. My goal is always to help create calmer, safer, and more enjoyable relationships between dogs and the people who love them. One thing that’s very important to me is paying attention to canine body language and stress signals. Dogs communicate constantly through subtle changes in posture, facial expression, and movement, and recognizing those signals early can prevent many behavior problems from escalating. During training, I help owners learn how to recognize what their dog is communicating so they can respond in a way that builds trust, confidence, and better behavior over time. Dog training is part of my regular weekly routine, and I intentionally keep my schedule structured so each client receives focused attention. My current training availability is: • Tuesday: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM • Wednesday: 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM • Thursday: 9:00 AM – 8:00 PM • Saturday: 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM • Sunday: Afternoon appointments available by request Closed: Monday and Friday Because each dog and family has unique needs, I limit the number of training sessions I take each week so I can provide thoughtful, individualized guidance and follow-up support between sessions. Safety, trust, and clear communication are always my top priorities when working with dogs and their families. I pay close attention to canine body language and stress signals to make sure dogs remain comfortable and able to learn during training. Training sessions focus on creating a calm, structured environment where both the dog and owner can succeed. I work at the dog’s pace and help owners understand what their dog is communicating so they can respond clearly and confidently. My goal is to create training plans that are safe, practical, and sustainable for everyday life, helping dogs feel more secure while helping owners feel supported throughout the process.
About: I have taken care of animals for as long as I can remember! I have been apart of the Rover community for around 5 years now. I am constantly around animals and having to commit myself to taking care of them. I am comfortable around all dogs and am willing to adapt and learn how to best care for your animal. When I come to take care of, play with, and walk your dogs I will dedicate my time to loving them. I would love to be able to take them to the dog park where they can also interact with other animals while you’re away! I am currently home full time and am available for drop ins or house sittings when needed! I am also flexible and can accept last minute bookings. When in your home, I would love to take your fur babies for walks, to dog parks, anything you already do with them to make them the most comfortable! My attention is on my love for animals so I have plenty of availability to care for your pets. I’m available on weekdays anytime and most weekends I will make sure your pet is safe, comfortable, and cared for at all times. About: I have great experience with taking care of all pets. I have also fostered multiple animals in the past couple of years and love it! I am currently working a part-time remote job, so I have a very flexible schedule. With a lot of free time, pet-sitting will definitely work well. I have a fenced in backyard with a lot of room to run around. I have my own dog who is super friendly. Your pet will have my full attention at all times!
About: I've been around well trained and untrained dogs alike for most of my life. I am capable with strong dogs, aggressive dogs, and dogs who just have tons of energy! I am currently doing gig work in the film industry, so in between gigs I have plenty of time to care for our furry friends. I care for other people's pets same as I care for mine at home. Simple basics are essential, but the magic happens when you build a bond and enrich each other's time together.
About: I’ve grown up with cats my whole life and currently have a 15lb dachshund and 3 cats in the house. All are very friendly. Any animal is welcome in my home. I work in a hospital three days a week. So I have four days completely free to take care of your pets. My bestfriend lives with me as well and is always around to help. There’s always someone home. I’ve served 5 years active duty navy and currently in the reserves so I do have common sense and can read and follow directions with precision. I have a car if needed for any reason and love being outdoors as much as possible so we can always go on nice long walks. I have a huge fenced in yard so we’ll spend plenty of time in the sun.
About: I have four cats and a german shepherd. I grew up having dogs and cats my whole life. I have raised kittens and bottle fed them and have experience with small dogs and very large dogs. I currently work full time monday- friday. I am available early mornings, I have an hour lunch break, and I am available after 3pm most days! I am free all day on the weekends. I can easily travel to care for your pets and do whatever is necessary to provide proper care! I cannot bring your pets to my home however I can transport them!

About: I have worked with all kinds of dogs. My first job was at a pet resort. animals are my passion, I’m 24 and I have a 5 year old pitbull mix . What sets me apart is that I am all about learning more about dogs and giving them the love and care they all deserve. If you need me to train your pups I can sure do so! I am available in the morning before I work and I usually get off around 2! Let me know what your schedule looks like and we can go from there! About: I can’t remember an age where I wasn’t helping birth and raise kittens and puppies, turtles, or rodents. From having blind, toothless senior chihuahuas and senile cats…to a litter of brand new pups or kittens struggling to catch their first breath I’ve been part of it. I’ve had several rodents and reptiles, and cared for my friends and family birds as well. Trained puppies and kittens to use the potty and more. Also helped with a few farm animals too. I work only 20-25hrs a week, so I’ll always be home within 6hours or less. Outside of work, I’m home hanging out with my kids and furbabies. I have two e.s.a. Certified cats who tend to hide away when someone new is here. I’ve had them both since babies (13y & 3y). Keep things clean, organized, healthy, I had a cleaning company too. I don’t have crates on hand or an outside fence but I have a huge yard, the neighbor has a spayed female American bulldog, very friendly. There are farm animals next door. However, I do appreciate being where the pet is comfortable and knows its space.

This was by far the most comfortable we have felt with someone watching Roxy and could tell after picking her up she was well cared for. At kennels or other boarding places she always was a bit skiddish or even sick, but picking her up from Debra she was right back into her normal routine, was healthy, and didn't miss a beat.
