“Laura was quick to respond to my request. She also arranged to meet my dog before the sitting appointment to be sure she understood the routine. I could hardly tell anyone had been in my house except that my dog was happy and well cared for when I got home! I would definitely see if Laura is available for future sitting needs.”

“Vanessa took very good care of Roxy. Let her have plenty of outside play time and sent us pictures to see how she was doing. She was a great house sitter as well. We will call on her again!”

“Lila was wonderful with our pugs, Stella and Martini! She sent daily pics and I never had to worry about them, they seemed to be in excellent hands! Would absolutely ask Lila to watch them again.”

About: I have cared for and loved animals all my life. I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science from UW-River Falls and have worked as a zookeeper at 2 zoos. My last dog Molly was actually part of the closing on my house. She was the least maintenance dog I have ever had. Unfortunately, her old age caught up with her recently and she is no longer with us. After some time I will be on the lookout for another dog, but for now I enjoy babysitting the wide variety of dogs I get from Rover. I do have a rabbit that lives outside and a horse that lives at a local farm. Let me know if I can help your family while you go on vacation or are visiting the Northwoods. I work full time during the school year. My kids and I walk our dogs around the block every morning before leaving the house. We are gone from 7:15 to 4:00 during school days. When we return home we take a walk around the block again and some times another lap before bed. In my home, my kids take on some of the responsibility of feeding and playing with the dogs because the money we earn on Rover goes directly into our vacation fund. As a family we take the dogs on walks around the block at least twice a day. Some days we are able to head to the horse farm to run around in the indoor arena or on the trails in the woods. Pups that have a good recall can successfully go off leash during this time, otherwise they will be on a long leash so they can get a lot of energy out.

“Hannah was so good with my fur babies!! Spending the weekend with them in their own home means so much to us. We were able to totally relax knowing our 3 dogs were comfortable at home in their own surroundings and being loved on. Such a great experience I may actually go places now!!!”

About: Taking care of animals has been a passion of mine for many many years! I love all animals of all shapes and sizes. I know what it takes to take care of your dog and puppy as I have had dogs all my life! I love to walk, hike, run, and go on adventures with all of the dogs I take care of. I know how important is for dogs and puppies to get their exercise on a daily basis. He/she/they will be loved and taken care of like they are my own as I would want someone to take care of my puppy as if she was theirs. I am available to take care of your dog or puppy overnight or if he or she just needs to walk to get some of their energy out!

Penny W.Star Sitter
“You can trust Penny to take care of your dog. She is a people person and a pet person. Both of you will enjoy your visits with her. I have watched Penny exhibit only kindness and affection to several types of animals. I have seen her tend to ailing pets without fear or hesitation. She has a way of horsing around with dogs just like we would while remaining vigilantly responsible. I believe that pets sense Penny's healthy sense of confidence and therefore allow her to lead. Her patience is a virtue. Don't be surprised if Champ would like to stay a little longer.”

Kelci P.
“Kelci is a close friend of mine that I would trust with my life. Her passion for working with animals is admirable and fun to watch. She is a teacher, so naturally she has a great way of working with adults (dog parents) and kids (sometimes benefit from a calm voice much like dogs do). She will do great with making sure your clients feel comfortable with their furry friend.”
