About: My life intertwines with animals—Bull Terriers, cats, and every creature becoming my teachers of unconditional love and profound connection. Where others saw breed stereotypes, I discovered souls waiting to be understood and cherished. For over two decades, I've dedicated myself to understanding and rehabilitating Bull Terriers, showing the world their gentle, loving hearts beneath muscular exteriors. Fostering and caring these dogs isn't just a task—it's an art of patience and mutual understanding. They can be challenging, but their capacity for love is unparalleled. Each dog has taught me more about compassion than any human interaction ever could. My connection extends beyond traditional companions. Every being, whether fur, feather, or leaf, deserves respect and love. Fur, Friendship, and Fighting Stigmas: My Journey with Bull Terriers 🐾 I'm currently working from home when I'm not traveling. My flexible shcedule allows me to accommodate my job, work flows around their needs. Morning plays, midday cuddles, and ongoing companionship is what we are used to at home. In my home, every furry friend becomes family. With a spacious, securely fenced yard, your pets will enjoy freedom, play, and companionship among my loving pack. Sofas and beds are open territories were cuddles and comfort reign supreme. Bring your pet's favorite blanket, cherished toy, or familiar crate—I want them to feel instantly at home. Here, individual needs are honored, anxieties soothed, and tails wag with pure joy. Your fur baby isn't just a guest; they're treasured and protected. Where comfort meets compassion, healing begins.

About: I’ve always been an animal lover. I raised two dogs from puppyhood. Lucy lived to 18, and my current pup, Porscha, is now 14. I also have a 15 year old cat, AppleJack, I’ve had since she was a kitten. So I know what it’s like to care for pets at every stage of life, from playful zoomies to slower senior strolls. I started pet sitting because I wasn’t looking to commit to another full time pet, but I still wanted to spend my days caring for animals and helping fellow pet parents. Whether it’s a quick walk, overnight stay, or just some company while you’re away, I’m here to give your pet the love and attention they deserve. I’m especially great with: Puppies and senior pets Shy or anxious animals Keeping routines and providing lots of updates (with cute pics!) At Playful Paws, your pet will feel safe, loved, and totally at home. I work fully remote, and so does my husband, which gives us the flexibility to provide consistent, attentive care throughout the day. Whether your pet needs a morning walk, a midday check-in, or some evening cuddles, we’re usually home and available to help. Being remote means your pet won’t be left alone for long periods, and we can easily adjust to their routine. Weekdays, weekends, we’re here to keep tails wagging and whiskers happy. Whether your pet is staying with me or I’m visiting them in your home, their safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I treat every pet like they’re my own, with patience, love, and respect for their routine. At home, I create a calm, pet-friendly environment with cozy spaces, a clean setting, and plenty of playtime. My husband and I both work remotely, so someone’s almost always home for companionship and supervision. In your home, I’m mindful of your space and your pet’s habits. I follow instructions closely, whether that’s meal times, meds, or favorite toys, and I always keep things tidy and secure. You’ll get regular updates and photos so you can relax knowing your fur baby is in caring, capable hands.

About: I’ve been a dog mom for over 18 years and grew up surrounded by pups, so caring for dogs feels like second nature to me. I’ve looked after everything from bouncy puppies who never sit still to sweet senior dogs who just want a cozy spot and some gentle love. I’m also experienced with giving medications and helping dogs who need a little extra care or patience. What sets me apart? I treat every dog like they’re my own ..spoiled, loved, and talked to like they actually understand me (because let’s be real, they totally do). Whether your pup loves long walks, belly rubs, or just laying around doing absolutely nothing, I’ve got them covered. I’ll also keep you in the loop with plenty of cute updates along the way! I work from home full-time, which means your pup will get plenty of attention, love, and potty breaks throughout the day. I take my own dogs out several times a day and keep a consistent routine that helps them feel comfortable and cared for.🫶 When caring for pets in my home, safety and comfort are my top priorities. I treat every dog like part of the family and make sure they feel safe, loved, and relaxed from the moment they arrive. My home is clean, calm, and pet-friendly, with plenty of cozy spots for naps and a peaceful environment for dogs of all ages. I want each dog to feel right at home. For walks, I stay alert to our surroundings, and avoid high-traffic areas or unfamiliar dogs unless discussed beforehand. Whether your pup is staying with me or just joining me for a stroll, you can count on me to treat them with love, patience, and the same level of care I give my own dogs.

About: 🐾❤ I'm a professional pet sitter and I take the well-being of your animals very seriously (this is not a side job—it's my true calling). I recently moved to Fort Lauderdale and I’m happy to offer personalized pet sitting services to the furry families of this community. 🤗 I’ve lived with animals my whole life and cared for them with love, respect, and responsibility. I understand that each pet is unique: some need playtime and physical activity, while others prefer quiet companionship and predictable routines. My approach is to adapt to their physical and emotional needs so they feel safe, calm, and loved while you’re away. During every visit, I make sure they have everything they need: food, cleaning, and basic medical care if required (I have experience administering oral medication and eye drops), and most importantly—affection. Whether it’s an energetic dog, a shy cat, or an older pet that needs extra attention, they will always receive thoughtful, personalized care. 📸 You’ll receive daily photo updates and clear, consistent communication (in English or Spanish 😉) 💖 Your pets will be treated as if they were part of my own family. Pet care is my full-time job and main focus. I’ve recently moved to Fort Lauderdale and am fully dedicated to offering reliable and loving cat sitting services. Because this is my primary occupation, I have wide availability throughout the week, including mornings, evenings, and weekends. I organize my days around each cat’s needs and routine, making sure they get the time and attention they deserve. Whether it’s one visit a day or multiple check-ins, I’m flexible and committed to providing consistent, high-quality care. While I don’t have a backyard, I provide a clean, quiet, and safe indoor environment where your pet will always feel protected and well cared for. I’m committed to maintaining a low-stress atmosphere, tailored to each animal’s personality and needs. That’s why I never care for cats and dogs at the same time—unless they come from the same household. For added comfort and security, I recommend bringing your pet’s personal items such as their toys, bed, or blanket. Animals rely heavily on scent to feel safe, and familiar smells—like those from their bedding—help reduce anxiety and make it easier for them to adjust to a new environment. This is especially true for more timid cats, who often need consistency and familiarity to feel calm. I provide clean, sanitized food and water bowls for every stay. All you need to bring is their food and any personal items that help them feel at home. Everything else—affection, attention, hygiene, and safety—is fully taken care of. 💖

About: I am experienced Rover pet sitter and also have years caring for all kinds of pets before joining the Rover team (local references available). I only serve one client at a time and offer both boarding (in my home) and house sitting (in clients homes). I am retired and this work gives me joy and purpose after the passing of my beloved 19yr old Chihuahua (Paco). I am home most of the day, and can make your pet’s care and well being my priority. I have experience caring for many types of pets over the years, and a *huge* fenced yard for dogs to play in. Animals give us unconditional love and truly deserve our very best in return. I stay active and social in my retirement from a professional career in the medical field. Caring for others’ pets is now my primary work focus, and helps add meaning and joy to my days. My home has a double lot sized yard that is fully fenced so dogs can romp and play safely. I supervise all outdoor playtimes from a comfortable and shaded pool-side patio. If I am house sitting for clients, I treat every home responsibly. I have several local references who can attest to the quality of care I provide in my home and/or theirs. Please reach out if I can answer any questions you may have.
