“David was very patient and very pleasant towards Maui. I had no fear trusting him with little bear. Constant updates assuring she was doing well. Will be using him again for sure!!”

“We had a good experience. Wayne kept us updated and gave us peace of mind while we were away. Macy looked happy and like she was at home. We highly recommend them and would definitely use their services again.”

“Our Aussie Doodle seemed to love being there. She played with their dog and she slept on the bed with their teen aged son. She took to these people like she had known them all her life. She even jumped up on the son's lap and our doodle just doesn't do that to people she doesn't know. I would definitely use this lady again to watch our dog.”

“Damaris was amazing for our kitten! His first stay away from our family was so great with the updates we got and attention he received throughout his stay. Damaris was super accommodating and very sweet — definitely rebooking when needed! 🫶🏻”

“This was possibly the best stay Elvis has ever had. Marion made sure he felt at home in her house and sent me daily messages to make me feel at ease while I was away. He had the best time playing with her Great Dane, Einstein, who we had a meet-and-greet with prior to his stay to make sure we all felt comfortable before the overnight stay. Since returning from his stay with Marion and Einstein, Elvis has slept for an entire day. So, I knew he had a great time. But most of all, as a result of finally playing with a puppy larger than him, Elvis has been more respectful toward his smaller, older dog sister after returning home. We will definitely be seeing Marion for all of our overnight stays!”

About: I’ve always been asked to care for dogs in the recent years. A lot of family, family friends and neighbors have asked for me to walk, feed, and check in their pets while they’re at home. I currently work a full time job, and my schedule allows me to spend evening walks when it is not too hot outside for the dogs paws. I have a wooden high fence in my backyard. I can also crate pets, I have a big one with easy access to in my living room.
“Could not be happier with our recent experience with Daniel and his care of our dog. Wally came back to us happy and energenic! We look forward to having him stay again. Thank you Daniel..and Rosie and Cooper for sharing your toys!”
“Very happy with Juliana. They took exceptional care of Leo. He looked very happy with Juliana and came home contented. They kept him active and well fed. I will definitely be using your service again.l;”

“Such a great little family and space. I could see in the check in messaging how relaxed and stress free my dog was during the whole visit. Very relaxing environment. When you book with a kennel or even people who have several dogs they are either watching or personally own and it can get really stressful for your pup. Not with this crew though. Thank you all so much. Will use again and highly recommend (although part of me just wants to keep them for ourselves 🤣💕🙏).”

“Ava was so wonderful and kept us updated on our precious girl with constant communication and pictures. We were able to leave Ruby with ease knowing she was in such great care. Will definitely use her again!”

“Kaylin was amazing. I felt so comfortable with Bear staying at Kaylin’s place, knowing he was in good hands. She kept us in the loop the whole time, with plenty of pictures of Bear’s adventures with her. I highly recommend Kaylin for any of your pets needs, she has experience and a love for animals that will make you feel at ease while away from your pup. A definite 5 out of 5 stars!”
About: We love animals, are very attentive, send videos and updates on their stay, and I also have a veterinary technology degree! We’re very comfortable administering meds or special needs animals! :) I own my own cleaning business, so I make my own schedule, and am able to be home, to tend to your adorable fur babies! Our yard is 3/4 fenced in, so we walk all pups 4-6 times a day. We are very hands on and love to go on walks around our super cute neighborhood.

About: I’ve spent nearly two decades around dogs — from working in pet resorts and vet offices, where I trained dogs and their owners using structured obedience, clear communication, and mutual respect. My background in working with dogs shaped a disciplined, no-nonsense approach that builds real trust between dogs and their people. Whether it’s a rowdy puppy or a dog with serious behavioral issues, I focus on building lasting confidence, not quick fixes. My schedule leaves solid blocks of time for pet care throughout the week, and I’m currently building out a dedicated training and kennel space at home. I’m available for boarding and daycare on weekends and weekday evenings, with flexibility for drop-offs, check-ins, and training sessions throughout the day I live on an acre of land near a reservoir, with a fenced area and a dedicated kennel and training space being built out inside my home. I own three well-socialized dogs of my own who are comfortable around visiting pups, so your dog will have company. I use crates when appropriate and closely supervise every interaction to keep all the dogs safe and comfortable.
About: I’ve taken care of animals since I was 16 I had vet class for 3 years in my school and 1 year of nursing. I worked at the humane society of highlands county in Sebring for almost 5 months now. I love animals with my whole heart. I am available on the weekends and weekdays sometimes on the holidays as well . So I am available to play and help out with your pups. I have a fenced in backyard to keep your fur baby safe. If you need I can cage at night if they are not potty trained
About: I have worked at a vets office, I have volunteer at a humane society and I have worked at 2 zoo’s plus caring for my own animal as well, so lot of experience and lots of love with and for animals! I have 2 kids, 1 is in school so I am basically a stay at home mom, having to pick up my oldest from school is my only basic schedule I have 5 acres all fenced in and I have a dog run as well, I do have a horse and cow on the main part of the property
About: What sets me apart is over 10 years of hands on experience caring for my own dogs. I’ve been through every stage of a pup’s life from energetic, curious puppies to the tender care senior dogs need. I understand the patience, consistency, and love it takes to keep dogs happy and healthy. Because of this, I treat every dog like family, making sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you’re away.” Right now, I have plenty of free time which means I can give your pet my full attention.I enjoy making pet care part of my daily routine from morning walks to playtime and cuddles throughout the day. Having the flexibility in my schedule allows me to keep pets on their normal routines and make sure they always feel cared for and comfortable. In my home, I make sure pets feel safe and comfortable by giving them a calm space, regular walks, and plenty of playtime and affection just like I do with my own dogs. I follow their normal routines as closely as possible so they feel right at home. When I’m caring for pets in a client’s home, I respect their space and stick to the pet’s usual schedule for feeding, walks, and rest. My goal is always to keep pets happy, loved, and stress free, whether they’re with me or staying in their own familiar environment.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Lake Placid
David was absolutely incredible with our Mickey. First time ever using him and would highly recommend. So unbelievably accommodating and kind. Lots of pictures sent making out time away much easier knowing how well she was being provided for. Will be using hopefully only David from here on out!!!

It was so nice to meet Dave. First time user of this sight and was put right at ease with how comforting Dave made my shih tzu feel at home in his home. Dave sent photos throughout the day which also helped me know he was being attentive and loving to my boy. I feel they made a bond that now I can work with and know my Cody will not only be comfortable...but happy beside his new friend Dave when I am not around. I will be calling on him again and would recommend him to anyone who is hesitant to use a "stranger" to watch their precious loved one. In moments, with the manner that Dave conducts himself, they will be fast friends.

Sophie had the best care and the best time with Wayne and his family. She loved playing with Blaire. This was her first overnight, and our first time using Rover. Thanks for taking such good care of our baby. I highly recommend Wayne to care for your dog. He will treat your pup, like his own. Thank you! We will definitely use his service again, and again.

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
