“Sarah helped me with a last minute request and took amazing care of my boys!! I was away for a fishing tournament and it was amazing to not have to worry at all. She was very great at updating me on everything and sending pictures. I recommend her to anyone and will use her again!!”

“Chelci was absolutely wonderful! I cannot recommend her enough. She dropped in twice a day during my 3 day trip, and she was incredibly reliable and responsible. Her communication was excellent, and she sent wonderful photo updates that kept my mind completely at ease. Even my cats picked up on her great vibes right away! Everything was purrfect when I got home. I will definitely be contacting her next time I am out of town!”

“Breana took great care of our two cats while we were gone. She knew how to work with the cats, giving them attention, and attending to their needs. We really appreciate all her help as we hate to leave our sweet boys, and felt comforted to have her care for them!”

“SHE WAS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! My dogs loved her and good sense she was a good person and I love that she constantly played with them. This was the first time I have ever used someone to help me with my babies and I 10000% will do it again. They don’t even listen to me as much as they listened to her, I feel so much better knowing that they were in good hands while I’m away.”

“Jayleene was a huge relief for us going on vacation and leaving our cats. She updated us both visits when she got there. We have one cat that doesn’t really care to be social and our other one is the social butterfly. Her son came along and in the photos, he looked so happy and Mikasa was being so sweet with him. Thank you so much. Will definitely be using her services again!”

About: I've grown up around pets my whole life and caring for animals has always been second nature to me. I've done pet sitting alongside my partner for a while now helping with feeding, walks, playtime and keeping routines consistent while owners are away. I understand how important it is for pets to feel safe and comfortable in their own environment and I try to make that as stress-free as possible. I'm new to having my own profile, but not new to caring for animals. Give me a chance, your pets will have a wonderful time with me! As a shift supervisor, my schedule is consistent and allows me to plan ahead, which means I can dedicate time each week to caring for pets. I make pet sitting and walks a priority around my work hours, and I’m reliable about showing up when I commit. Whether it’s early mornings, evenings, or days off, I have the flexibility to make sure pets get the attention, exercise, and love they need! When I care for pets in a client’s home, I focus on keeping their routine as familiar and comfortable as possible. I follow any instructions closely—whether that’s feeding schedules, walks, medications, or playtime so that pets feel safe and cared for in their own space. I treat each home with respect, keep things tidy, and make sure you can come back to both a happy pet and a comfortable home.
“I had the pleasure of entrusting Valerie with my 8-month-old puppy for the first time, and it was an absolute delight. From the start, her commitment to ensuring a smooth transition was evident. She even visited us the day before our appointment to meet my furry friend. Valerie's instant connection with my puppy was reassuring to witness. Leaving my puppy in Valerie's care was a breeze. I knew she was in capable and caring hands. When I returned, my pup was happy and content, which is a testament to the quality of care provided by Valerie. Thank you so much, Valerie. Your professionalism, warmth, and love for animals make you an exceptional dog sitter.”

“For the last year or so, Nikki has been stopping in to take care of my kitties when I leave town. I always feel like I can be present with what I'm doing with out worrying about how my fuzzy friends are. She always let's me know they are doing well. I highly recommend Nikki if you want to travel worry free!”
“Kenna is awesome! We have used several sitters/walkers booked through Rover and Kenna is by far one of the best. She's great with my dog, and my dog loves her. A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Lake Jackson. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
