About: I’m studying to be an engineer and my dad has a joke that i’m coming back as a veterinarian which says a lot. Unconditional love is what dogs have and the only thing you can do with it is to give some right back to them. I love going on walks and runs even without dogs, so it’s a perfect match. I’m also pretty good at tug of war, i might let your dog win a few times. I’m currently a student at A&M Kingsville with a lot of free time between classes and i’m very flexible as far as my schedule goes. I’m always eat at home and can unsure your dog gets a meal too. I do have a medium sized crate along with some treats of my own. In my apartment complex there is a fenced in doggy area as well as a bunch of yard throughout. As stated though, i love going on walks and letting them explore the campus, and other people love giving out pets and scratches.
“Charisma was great! Took such great care of my babies and even offered to come an additional day when my previous sitter couldn’t come! Sent lots of pictures and followed all instructions! Would 110% recommend and use again, she was the best!”

“Sarah helped me with a last minute request and took amazing care of my boys!! I was away for a fishing tournament and it was amazing to not have to worry at all. She was very great at updating me on everything and sending pictures. I recommend her to anyone and will use her again!!”

“Chelci was absolutely wonderful! I cannot recommend her enough. She dropped in twice a day during my 3 day trip, and she was incredibly reliable and responsible. Her communication was excellent, and she sent wonderful photo updates that kept my mind completely at ease. Even my cats picked up on her great vibes right away! Everything was purrfect when I got home. I will definitely be contacting her next time I am out of town!”

“Breana took great care of our two cats while we were gone. She knew how to work with the cats, giving them attention, and attending to their needs. We really appreciate all her help as we hate to leave our sweet boys, and felt comforted to have her care for them!”

“Very pleased with Kelci . Our pets seemed to be a lot more relaxed vs the neighbor taking care of them . I believe I will continue to her next time if possible ! I would definitely recommend her ! 😊”

“Was great with handling my dog when she was nervous and had never met Chase. Wouldnt feel more comfortable with anyone else watching my dog after that and I will be using Chase in the future.”

About: I have lots of experience with both cats and dogs. I have also had fish, rabbits, and snakes (at separate times) in the past. Currently I have a family of three at home, a German Shepard, kitten and senior cat (15 yo). I have pet sit for many family members and friends in the past as well as taking care of my own pets and elderly cat I have had since he was a kitten. I am currently working part-time as a pet sitter in between my college courses. I also have a corporate job, but am looking to spend my extra time taking care of animals and going on walks to help me lose weight! I have a fenced yard and an outdoor kennel. I have my own transportation. I also have a separate home office that is available is animals do not get along or sometimes some animals need their own space! All of my animals are super friendly and curious, especially our German Shepard he loves making new friends!

About: I’ve had experience with many animals of different species for many years and can take care of all needs. I was a dog trainer and certified in dog and small animal wellness. I am currently a pet care specialist and do all that I can for all and their pets. I also have a degree in environmental science and pet wellness. I also like to applaud myself for customer service skills and being personable with everyone I meet. I will talk to you like I’ve known you forever and I strive to be someone those can be comfortable around. 😊 As a pet care specialist and pet owner myself, my schedule ranges from 8-9 am for spot cleaning and feeding, then around 12 I do pet checks, and around 5-6 is when I do final checks. For dogs, it follows the same structure with added enrichment and outside time in between. I have one dog and one puppy who spend time mostly outside and come in for breaks and food/snacks. I have a cat who eats twice a day and will occasionally be put in his stroller to go outside and enjoy the fresh air lol. And I have 2 guinea pigs who eat twice a day and will come out of their cage for enrichment and play time.
“For the last year or so, Nikki has been stopping in to take care of my kitties when I leave town. I always feel like I can be present with what I'm doing with out worrying about how my fuzzy friends are. She always let's me know they are doing well. I highly recommend Nikki if you want to travel worry free!”
“I hired Holly for drop in visits to inject insulin on my diabetic dog. She was very professional and punctual. He didn’t even feel the poke. I will definitely hire Holly again to care for my pets.”

About: I come from a mother who absolutely loves dogs and a father who has been forced to deal with that 😂. I've been around dogs and cats my entire life and helped my mom with fostering pets of all ages, sizes and physical conditions, from a Great Pyrenees to a small pack of Chihuahas. Though I only started sitting locally just over a year ago, I'm very familiar with meeting new dogs and caring for their individual needs. I'm out of school right now so I will have plenty time to come check on and stay with your pets. After I'm done caring for my own, of course. I am available to do a meet & greet to learn just how to take care of your pets, and I can also send a daily update picture just so you know that your animal companion is getting they care they deserve.
“I have two cats! Keliann did a wonderful job! This was my first time using Rover. I was a bit nervous at first how this was all going to go! She was very helpful and informative which helped ease my anxiety! Throughout the time she kept me updated with detailed notes on how the visit went! She seems very attentive and definitely an animal lover! I can’t thank her enough for her help!”

About: I always grew up with dogs and got in to the dog industry 6 years ago. I started at a doggy daycare and eventually got a job training protection dogs. Throughout my professional experience I managed multiple dogs in both a home and facility setting. Ensuring each dog in my care is fulfilled every day is my top priority! I am currently able to provide full-time care for the pets in my home. My life revolves around my dogs and any guest would fit right into my rotating schedule. I have a room dedicated to the pets I am sitting as well as a securely fenced backyard. I will crate and rotate guests with my dogs, unless explicitly friendly, to ensure the safety of all. Any pet in my home is treated as my own!

We have a fully fenced in yard , and a todler who adores all animals. I have plenty of experience with senior care, as well as medication and shot. I am verry flexible with my schedule. We have plenty of space and room for whatever you require. Wether that be a quiet room for a seniors with access to the yard, or lots of exersize and cuddles. Please let me know what you need and I will make this a home away from home for your pups. I am currently medically retired from the Army. My only job is caring for your fur babies, and making sure they get everything they need and more. I have a large fenced yard that your babies will get lots of exersize in. About: From a young age I loved being around animals, I started out helping my mom since she is a wildlife rehabilitation rescuer. I worked as a Veterinary Technician with small and large animal, and have been working as a receptionist in Veterinary Clinics for 7 years now. Animals bring a happiness to me that is indescribable and if you hire me as your pet sitter I promise that your fur babies will become a part of my family! I will treat them as my own, if you’d like to book please let me know. I like to do meet and greets before I do the job to meet your fur babies, you, and make sure that I have an understanding of the routine to best take care of them while your away! I am currently not working so I am doing pet sitting full time, I can pretty much do any date or time. Just let me know what works best for you. For pet sitting, I would do so in the comfort of your own home and where your pet feels the safest. I do not have a fenced in yard, so to make sure that the pet care is safe I feel it is best to provide it in your home.

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Brazoria. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
