My home is calm and quiet, nervous dogs do great with me. My back yard is fully fenced; my back door opens into that backyard. Customized meals for every dog. Home and dog areas cleaned daily and sanitized weekly. YOUR DOG MUST BE FRIENDLY WITH OTHER DOGS and be 25 pounds or less! NO BULLY BREEDS I am retired and need to feel I am contributing to society in some small way. I love animals and they love me, so this is a good fit for me. I can care for dogs, cats, birds, horses, cattle, goats, chickens, rabbits, snakes, reptiles, raccoons and some small wildlife (depending on their needs) in their home or mine!

About: I have had a big passion for animals since childhood. I grew up with many animals and always dreamed of working with animals. I graduated from university with an associate in veterinary technician. I been working for several years in veterinary medicine and doggy daycare i really have fun and enjoy all my time with them. I’m currently working 3 days per week, usually I’m off on Sunday and the rest of the time at home. My schedule rotates, I do not always have the same days off. I have an empty room only for them, small cage if needed and a porch that they can be around. I’m a pet friendly and I always walk my dog around so he can enjoy the complex.

About: We’ll be the next best thing to home while you’re away. My husband and I have had dogs our whole lives, and we believe a house just isn’t complete without a furry companion. I am available full-time to care for your dog and will treat them as if they were my own. We have a large, fenced-in backyard that’s perfect for playtime, and we also go on daily walks. If your dog enjoys water, we even have a wading pool to help them stay cool. Whether it’s playing fetch, relaxing in the yard, or enjoying some snuggles inside, your pup will get the love and attention they deserve. I am retired after 30 years in the healthcare field, so I’m also very comfortable administering medications or handling any special medical needs your pet may have. Between my husband and I, we are home all the time and available to care for your pet 24/7. We have a dog of our own, so caring for a dog is just a normal part of our daily routine. We have a large fully fenced yard, and our own friendly dog to help keep your dog company. Our home is dog friendly (no rules about furniture). We do have a large create if you prefer that your dog be created during certain times.

About: Dogs have been my life companions and I'm a dedicated caregiver. I have experience raising my own dogs from puppy age on through the senior struggles. I had a big boy for 12 yrs and a big girl for almost 15, who I lost earlier this year. I especially love large dogs and the sweeties known as "bully" breeds. I'm choosing not to have a pet again for a while, so I have extra love and time to give to yours! About: I have fostered for the SPCA since I was 12 and have owned pets my entire life. I have a passionate love for animals and recently discovered a new passion for pet sitting! I STRICTLY KEEP ONLY ONE PET FAMILY AT A TIME - so I can focus on their personal and familiar schedule, happiness, and safety. As for my background and experience, as a youth, I began fostering animals for the SPCA at 12 years old, and then at 16 began raising and training guide dog puppies for Southeastern Guide Dogs. I have been awarded volunteer and foster of the year both by the SPCA. As I got older. I saw a great need for foster parents who could bottle feed abandoned puppies and kittens, could care for older pets needing extra time and expertise, and pets with a wide variety of special needs. After adopting several special needs pets who would otherwise have difficulty finding a forever home (the last two passed away last year), I found myself wanting to adopt every animal I fostered. knowing that wasn’t realistic, I realized pet sitting might be better outlet for me to direct my love for animals (Without the pain of not knowing if the pet I fostered would eventually find a loving home). And I have loved hosting happy pets ever since! My children are now in college, and after losing my precious older dog and cat a couple years ago, I now only have one cat we rescued during a storm. My ultimate goal is for both you and your pet to be comfortable and have peace of mind before and during the time you are away, and I strive to love and entertain them so much that they feel at home (or on vacation) until you come back for them. I work from home, allowing me to be available for your pet at almost all times - which is especially helpful with puppies/kittens, older, or disabled pets that need to be closely watched. (I have many years experience with disabled, sick or elderly pets). I am experienced with giving both oral and injected meds, expressions, helping them eat, exercise, etc. Because I only pet sit one animal family at a time, I am able to adjust to your pet(s) schedule. Whatever makes him/her most comfortable! I take the trust and safety of pets very seriously, only keeping one pet (or family of pets) at a time. I also document a daily diary of their experiences, and send pictures on a daily basis (unless requested otherwise). You can review the daily diary document (as well as information I prefer to obtain before pet sitting), in my photos section. This document includes the preferred vet and emergency center I utilize, although I am happy to contact your preferred vet if provided to me. I also have multiple friends who are veterinarians, and I never hesitate to contact them if I am at all concerned about any pet in my care. I prefer dogs be crate trained if they are young and active, but it is only used if we are all gone for a short time (for the dog’s safety and comfort). The rest of the time pets are welcome on the bed, furniture, etc. If there is a reason the dog can’t be crated, please discuss it with me and we can come up with safest and best plan for your pet! I also have a room set up for pets in case they want to be alone or have quiet time. It is also helpful if you bring a blanket from home, so s/he is comforted by the familiar smells of you and their loving home!

About: I worked at an animal shelter for a 2 years- fostering litters of puppies and older dogs at my home. I’m currently studying Animal Behavior and am a Certified Vet Assistant. I have 2 friendly active dogs of my own as well! I currently work at a dog training/boarding facility so I have experience with all breeds from all types of backgrounds :) I’m currently a part-time student and part time employee at John K9. I go on runs, walks and hikes and would love to bring your pet for a stroll. I am also able to just hang out and spend quality time with your pup or cat if they have separation anxiety. I have a fenced yard and pool. If you’re animal needs to be kenneled, a crate will need to be provided. Four people live in my household, so someone will always be present to keep an eye on everything. Feeding will be done separate as a safety precaution and playtimes with my personal dogs will be monitored. I treat every animal as though they are my own; furbabies are exactly as the name suggests- babies!!
