About: As an animal lover, I've taken care of multiple animals since high school. The number of animals that where in my care ranged from dogs, cats, reptiles, hamsters, rabbits, etc. I currently have a full time job from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. I am available for check-ins, housesitting, and walks in the morning. I have a small apartment that is great for smaller dogs and cats to roam. I provide toys and have a friendly rabbit to keep them company.
“Lauren exceeded my expectations with out dogs. She initiated a meet and greet before we left for our trip with our dogs which helped put my mind at ease leaving the dogs in her care. After our first interaction I felt confident she was more than capable of managing our 4 dogs at once. While we were on the trip she was always prompt and reliable. Her photo updates were pure gold. She could add a side hustle of being a pet photographer if she wanted! Overall I was really pleased and will use her again!”

About: I’ve been caring for animals for over 15 years. From afternoon visits to month-long stays, I’ve done it all. I also have experience caring for elderly and sick animals, including my own when she was diagnosed with cancer. I’m patient and kind towards all animals. I adopted two cats in Sept. of 2024 and adore them so much! I work part time at an ice cream shop in Jackson. I have free time in the mornings and most evenings due to the later shop hours. I’m open to any house sits and will stay with your pet! First off, I remain calm and easy when meeting an animal. If I’m able, I like to leave a belonging of mine so they can get used to my scent! I’m a very laidback person so lounging around the house and going out for a walk with your dog is perfect. I love giving pets and cuddling on the couch.
“2nd time having Mary care for my dog while I was away. Mary, once again, has done a wonderful job! It’s so comforting to know that I have someone in Mary that I can trust. I highly recommend her for your next pet sitting need.”

“Makayla certainly lived up to the hype! She was accommodating, and genuine. Communication was great as well. Blue did not wish to see her go when his stay concluded. I am already looking to book her for upcoming visits!”

“I cannot recommend Priya highly enough! She took exceptional care of my cats while I was away on vacation and gave me complete peace of mind. She was attentive, reliable, and clearly has a genuine love for animals. What impressed me most was how she connected with my cat Nova, who is typically very shy and tends to hide from people. Priya was patient, gentle, and earned Nova's trust to the point that she came out of hiding and embraced Priya's care. That alone speaks volumes about Priya's kindness and natural ability with animals. She kept me updated, made sure my cats were comfortable and well cared for, and treated them as if they were her own. Coming home to happy, relaxed cats was the best feeling. I would absolutely trust Priya again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring, dependable, and compassionate pet sitter.”

“My two sons Azul and champ looked fat and fine and like they didn’t miss us much at all! Terrell was on time every day, and he walked them every day and took pictures every day. We were quite well satisfied and relaxed because Terrell took great care of both my boys. Great job will ask for him again.”

About: I have had a dog since I was 10, and have taken care of him my whole life and still do in his senior years. I also have helped with my neighbors dogs by walking them and playing with them. I have done this since I was about 10 as well. I am new to dog sitting, but I think it will be very fun! Until the 12th, I am working as a camp counselor. My hours are 7:30-3:00, but I am happy to see a pet before I work for about 30 minutes, and for however long I need to after I work! I’m also happy to come at night. I am happy to do whatever is needed! I am good with senior dogs as I have one myself, but I’m also happy to play with younger pups and walk and take them out for the bathroom when available. I will also obviously feed them and give them medicine if needed.
About: I’ve been working with dogs for over 19 years and provide a structured, calm, and safe environment in my home. I have a dedicated dog room with secure kennels, supervised interaction, and clear boundaries. I currently own and train multiple dogs, including a fully trained service animal and another dog I’ve personally raised and developed. This gives me strong experience with behavior, energy management, and different personalities. Dogs in my care are treated like family, but with structure. They can enjoy comfort like furniture once they demonstrate respectful behavior and cleanliness. I do not allow destructive or uncontrolled habits. I’m comfortable with puppies and can reinforce basic training, routine, and good behavior during their stay. I also provide advanced training reinforcement as part of my care. Dogs naturally work on obedience, confidence, impulse control, and daily mental and physical engagement while they’re here. I have experience building service-style task foundations and higher-level behavior, but I do not certify service animals. Every dog benefits from structure in my home, whether they need basic manners or more advanced work. My focus is safety, consistency, and communication so every dog is properly supervised, exercised, and leaves more balanced, responsive, and confident. Pet care is part of my daily routine, not something I fit in on the side. I’m home most of the day, which allows me to provide consistent supervision, structured interaction, and regular potty breaks, exercise, and mental engagement. My background in disciplined environments has shaped how I run my home—dogs here benefit from routine, clear expectations, and a calm, controlled atmosphere. Each day includes a balance of activity, training reinforcement, and rest so dogs stay healthy, settled, and stress-free. Because I’m available throughout the day, I can adapt to each dog’s needs—whether that’s higher energy, puppy structure, or a more relaxed pace. My goal is to provide dependable, attentive care so owners can feel confident their dog is safe, engaged, and well looked after at all times. Safety, trust, and structure are the foundation of how I care for every dog. My home is set up specifically for pet care, with a dedicated dog room, secure kennels, and supervised interaction at all times. I carefully manage introductions and only allow dogs to interact once they are calm, balanced, and a good fit. Dogs in my care follow a structured routine that includes regular potty breaks, exercise, mental stimulation, and rest. I maintain clear boundaries while still allowing comfort—dogs can enjoy furniture and a relaxed environment once they demonstrate respectful behavior and cleanliness. I require dogs to be crate familiar or comfortable with structured downtime. Owners are encouraged to provide a crate or familiar setup for overnight stays, though I have limited kennel space available if needed. I prioritize communication and will keep owners updated with how their dog is doing. My goal is to provide a calm, controlled environment where dogs feel safe, are properly supervised, and leave more balanced and well cared for than when they arrived.

About: I grew up in a home that always had a dog, I've had my own boy for seven years now and I've been pet sitting for friends and family for the past two! I'm looking to fill my off days while also helping others care for their pets. My schedule is a bit finicky, but I'm happy to answer questions and make something work! I always have water and a portable bowl for the dogs that I walk. The summer heat is no joke and staying hydrated is important.
“Mrs. Bonnie is super Great!!! She takes care of my fur baby while I’m away at work. She always keep me updated on everything that Stormi🐾 does during her stay. Thank you Mrs. Bonnie!”

When caring for your pet, I will follow your requests and provide the care that you see fit for your pet! I love to go above and beyond, so just let me know how I can best serve you and your pet.
Lake Forest pet parents share their Rover experiences
Katie was seriously the sweetest person and Loki warmed up to her right away. She had a very calming demeanor which made me feel comfortable with her as well as why Loki probably warmed up to her so quickly. She always updated me with pictures and asked a lot of follow up questions that I myself hadn’t thought of. I was so pleased with getting to work with Katie and will be recommending her to all of my friends and colleagues moving forward.
