About: Me and my family have owned a French bull dog for 8 years, as well as I have worked at a doggie day care (digstown) for 4. During my time at digstown I have cared for every size shape and personality imaginable! I currently only work one day a week and I am home for about 80% of my day, I own a car so transportation would never be a problem. I am a believer in treating others dogs how you would want yours to be treated, I will make sure everything that the pet needs is done on time and efficiently because that’s how I would want someone to treat mine

About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life—since I was 5 years old. My mom is a dog groomer, and I worked with her for years, which gave me hands-on experience with dogs of all sizes, temperaments, and needs. I currently have three of my own, ranging from 40 to 190 lbs, so I’m very comfortable handling large breeds and high-energy pups. I’m confident with everything from basic care to reading dog body language and managing senior or anxious dogs with patience and calm energy. I work from home, so I’m home all day and able to give your pet plenty of attention, playtime, and potty breaks. My flexible schedule means I can easily stick to your dog’s routine and be available for walks, feedings, and cuddle time throughout the day. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or yours, safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I take the time to understand each pet’s routine, personality, and any special needs or quirks. I follow instructions closely, keep a clean and calm environment, and never leave pets unattended in unsafe situations. I also give regular updates so you always know how your pet is doing. About: I had a Tibetan Terrier who lived to be 14 years old, so I've had plenty of senior pet care experience, as well as administering medications. I currently have a golden retriever who is about little over 1 year old who I got at 8 weeks so plenty of puppy experience as well. I've trained both of my dogs to do many tricks. I've never owned a cat but I've pet sit for plenty. I'm taking classes at the University of Alabama so whenver I'm not in class or taking care of my own dog, I'm free. Especially weekends, afternoons, and evening. I can take your dog on walks or if you have a fenced in yard I can go hang out with them in the backyard.

About: From a young age I was taught to care for all kinds of animals such as birds, cats, dogs, pigs, and ferrets. I can bottle feed pigs, kittens, and puppies. I work with puppies on basic training skills such as sit, paw, and lay-down. I can also bath animals and give medicine when needed. My classes start at 8:00 AM so if I need to make morning trips for animal care it would need to be around 7:00 AM I get out of class at noon and typically don't have additional activities until 5:00 PM. After that I'm available from 8:00 PM till 10:00 PM for last calls at houses. Currently I live in a dorm where I cannot have animals but when I was home with my family I took the dog out first thing in the morning for a walk/ jog. Once we are back to the house I provide breakfast and got ready for school. At lunch my mom would let the dog out to go to the rest room, around 3:00 when I got home from school I took my dog out to play or swim for 45 minutes to an hour. Around 5:00 PM we would chill on the couch while I completed homework and then we her outside for her last potty break around 9:00 and then when she comes in I comb her and get her ready for bed for the night.

About: My passion for pets and their mental well-being started early. Since 2019, my dad and I have volunteered at animal shelters, walking dogs and house training them to help them find loving homes. Now, as a college freshman, I’m continuing my mission to give back to the community and support animals as they grow. With two dogs of my own I trained and experience raising a litter of puppies, I understand how important it is for pets to feel safe, loved, and engaged. When your pets are with me, they’ll get more than just care—they’ll enjoy fun agility activities, positive interaction, and, most importantly, safety. I am currently a fully time student, along with involved into on campus clubs and volunteers at the Hospital, but, I still make time to take care of animals at my local animal shelter. Your pet’s safety is my top priority. My home provides a secure, pet-friendly environment where your furry friend can relax, play, and feel at ease. I ensure all spaces are free from hazards, with secure fencing and locked gates for outdoor activities.

About: I love watching animals more than anything! Always know that your animal is loved and in great hands when I am in charge and responsible for them I am a full time student at The University of Alabama. This is my first year so I am still getting used to everything! I only have 2 classes max a day so have plenty of free time!! I know how to crate animals, as I have a puppy back home that is crate trained. If your yard is not fenced I will at all times keep your dog on a leash!!

About: I am super flexible and comfortable with dog care. I currently have an energetic young german shepherd so I understand the importance of dogs getting lots of exercise so that they can relax throughout the day. The main breeds I have experience with are Labs/Retrievers, German Shepherds, Beagles, Mixed Breed herding dogs, and Horses! I understand when dogs want to play and when they need their own space to relax. I currently have a german shepherd that I exercise twice a day either by walking, hiking, fetching or chasing hose water. Typically, I do one of these activities in the morning and one in the evening. My dog is free fed throughout the day, but I am familiar with dogs that prefer the routine of scheduled feeding or don't have self control, so I am comfortable following the routine that the dog is used to. I have a great walkable neighborhood, but I am very familiar with great places to walk and hike with dogs throughout the city. I am a grad student with lots of flexibility so my schedule is different from week to week, during the summer I will have lots of time each day to spend with your pup, but during the year I will provide excersize but less one-on-one time. I have a fenced in yard and a 1900 square foot home with hard surfaced floors. I don't allow my dogs on furniture, but if your dog is used to it, that is not currently a concern. My fences are sturdy and chain link, and about four feet tall. I prefer dogs that are crate trained overnight, and am happy to provide my own crates for them to sleep in. If they are not, I would happy to set up a play pen environment for them to be in!

About: Hello, my name is Alex! Animals have always been an interest of mine (fun fact: my favorite animal is the grizzly bear) and I love caring for them! I've been taking care of my family dogs for the last 5 years and recently adopted my kitty a little over a year ago. Outside of that, I volunteer at my local shelter and have been hired to walk dogs by neighbors as well as dog/ house sit from time to time. I may be new to Rover but I am not new to being dependable and responsible! I am currently a Junior in college and do not work a job during the academic year. My main constraint is classes when school is in session, but other than that I will work diligently to fit into whatever schedule is needed of me! I know how difficult it can be to trust someone else with your pet. This is why I do my absolute best to make sure each fur baby is treated with the same love and care that I would want for my own. My goal is to give them - and you - the absolute best experience possible.

About: I have stayed in homes for several days caring for three dogs, ensuring they received attention, exercise, and routine care. I’ve also provided traditional pet sitting services, checking in on dogs, feeding them, and taking them for walks. I am extremely detail-oriented and committed to following all instructions exactly as given to ensure pets remain comfortable, safe, and happy whether they are in their home environment or mine. I am a college student home for the summer and I am working a part time job 20 hours per week at Lake Forest Racquet Club. Therefore, I have a very flexible schedule as I usually only work from 7 A.M. to 12 P.M. four days a week. Whether caring for pets in my home or a client’s, I prioritize safety, structure, and stimulation. In a client’s home, I strictly follow all instructions and respect their space while maintaining a calm and clean environment for the pet. About: I have always had a huge spot in my heart for animals and I wish I could help every single one in bad situations. I have always known I wanted to work in Veterinary Medicine so currently I work at a clinic as a Veterinary assistant training to be a licensed Veterinary Technician !! I have so much experience with animals from puppies/kittens to senior dogs/cats including their different needs and type of care and can’t wait to learn even more!! *If possible, I do request proof of up to date vaccinations and preventions (flea, tick, heartworm and worm)* Since moving to Tuscaloosa, I’ve gotten a job at a vet clinic and my boyfriend (Mason) attends UA. He loves animals just as much as I do and we will always have them in our home! Our schedules are very flexible and someone is almost always home:) My dog Tug is a GSP (German shorthair pointer) and is absolutely rotten! He loves going to the dog park and is very friendly and loves meeting new people and friends!! With that being said we can always take them to the dog park if allowed and play with them in the backyard and definitely go get pup cups! I will not be alone any of the time for my safety and the animals safety, I will always have help and support!

About: I got my first family dog at the age of 12 and he was a 100 pound chocolate Labrador named Max. When I moved to Germany, I was not allowed to take him so he currently lives with my brother. After moving back to the US, I got my own toy poodle at the age of 16 named Eymber and was completely responsible for her. Once I moved to college, I got her a puppy named Koko and they absolutely love eachother. Eymber is now 5 years old and koko is 1. Occasionally, I stop by the Tuscaloosa animal shelter to volunteer and I love being the reason a pup was happy that day. I love my babies and all fur babies more than anything in the world!!💛 I graduated from the University of Alabama in December of 2024. I’m a stay at home wife while my spouse works at the Alberta elementary school of performing arts so I’ll have plenty of time to cafe for your pups. I have a small fenced in backyard and 2 adult toy poodles who are very sweet to everyone. I live in a small neighborhood with tons of space to take walks/runs. I also prefer a gentle approach when correcting behavior and I believe crates should be a safe space rather than punishment.

About: I have been training and taking care of dogs and cats since I was little. I love playing and caring for all types of my four legged friends.
