About: I have several years experience caring for dogs of all sizes, as well as small animals and exotics. Worked for a couple years at a dog daycare/ boarding facility. I foster dogs with medical and behavioral issues so I’ve seen it all. (Currently taking a break from fostering so I have room to board dogs) I’m home full time right now! I may go out for a couple hours for dog walking, but other than that someone is always here. We have a spare room if they need their own space. We have lots of experience fostering and crate/ rotate. We always make sure to spend equal quality time with each dog. If I am caring for your pets at your home I will spend the night there with them.

About: Hello! My name is Kara, and while I am new to Rover, I'm certainly looking forward to putting my extensive animal care experience to good use! I currently own two cats named Ernie and Fern, and I hope to one day add some more friends to our family. Nearly every job I've had involved the care of animals, from my first job at a doggy daycare, to a few summers spent working at a veterinary clinic, a challenging but rewarding period of time at an animal shelter, and my most recent work at a dairy farm! Even as a child, several neighbors trusted me enough to ask that I care for their pets while they were out of town. Through all of this, I developed the ability to understand the individual needs of each animal and to work toward meeting those needs. Whether your furry friends love long walks, playtime in the yard, or just hanging out on the sofa, I would love to help out! I'm available for drop-in visits or more extensive stays as well. I just moved to Saratoga with my husband, so I'm looking for some meaningful work to start off my time here. My schedule is relatively open, so I can make time for most types of care routines. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions! I am available for a wide range of in-home services. Due to having two cats of my own, I unfortunately cannot have other animals stay at my house. About: I've been around animals since I was a kid. I am very comfortable with dogs and cats. I have a dog at home and have dog-sat for friends and family since I was a teenager. Whether it's taking a long walk or cuddling on the couch, I am happy to give your pet whatever they need. I have a dog at home so I am used to going on walks every day and a feeding routine. I've taken her to vet appointments and given her various medications for routine stuff like tick protectant. Over the years, I've helped friends and family take care of pets including walks, dog sitting, baths, and even puppy play dates. I do not offer boarding at my home but I plan to be respectful of both pet owners space as well as your pet's space. No matter where the pet is, whether that's on a walk or in a fenced yard, I will be alert and focused on the safety of your pet.

About: 20 plus years experienced caretaker. I've rescued, fostered and adopted senior pets, pregnant mamas, puppies and the like. I have experience with walks, overnights, administering meds, wound care and of course snuggles. I work a pretty flexible part time schedule of afternoon and early evening hours a few days a week that allows me to schedule visits as needed to accommodate your pets schedule. However I am instructed to do so by the owner. In my home, I have a fenced in yard, there is also a dog park in the community. I have animal crates if needed. Large and small depending upon what is needed. I also have a silly dog of my own at home as a companion.

About: I have lifelong experience caring for a wide variety of animals, including dogs, cats, rodents, reptiles, and farm animals. Since childhood, I’ve owned and worked with animals of all kinds. In high school, I completed a three-year veterinary science program at a vocational college, where I gained hands-on knowledge in animal care. I also worked at a veterinary hospital, where I was responsible for caring for dogs and cats who were boarded during medical procedures or while their owners were away. In addition, I am a lifelong equestrian with extensive experience handling horses and currently work as an exercise rider at the local racetrack. I also work part-time for another professional dog sitting company. Animal care isn’t just a job for me—it’s a lifelong passion. I work at the racetrack in the mornings, but I am available every afternoon, night, and before I go into work in the morning. I am very reliable! If it’s a fenced in yard, I go outside and watch the dog(s) to make sure they went potty and had adequate play time. If they need walked on the leash, I make sure they have enough time to go potty, and see new sights and sounds!

About: Hello, my name is Alie and my #1 passion is animals! In search of my calling in life, I have found myself working for a pet grooming salon in my hometown, Milton, NY! I spend my days Tuesday-Saturday bathing, drying, and brushing the neighborhood dogs then go home to love on my own German Shepard/Belgian Malinois mix and Tabby! My weekends are filled with time spent with my family (pets are family!) and my pet sitting clients. I have spent my whole life around dogs and cats, helping to fulfill all of their needs, and have been formally pet-sitting for the public since 2021. Since I was about 12 years old, I have gained experience caring for dogs for friends and family, providing basic care such as feeding and potty breaks. As I grew, my experience expanded to include transportation to and from the vet and groomer, feeding, oral medication administration, ear drops/ointment, eye drops, walking, and (the best part of course) playing! Your pets safety and comfort are of the utmost importance to me, I take any time necessary to ensure your pet's comfortable with me being inside their home, even if I exceed the typical 30m or 60m visit length! Working at a grooming salon, I have honed my skills with dog body language so I know when your pups are upset. My experience with cats has also taught me when the kitties aren't happy as well! Meet & Greets are a necessary part of the booking process to ensure everyone's safety over the course of a booking. All bookings that include a dog are required to have a one-time complimentary Meet & Greet prior to booking. Dogs are careful about the humans they trust, espcially with their parents gone, so I'd like to make friends with you present! Other bookings that only include cats are not required to have a Meet & Greet prior to booking but you are more than welcome to request one! Any additional Meet & Greets that are requested beyond the initial complimentary Meet & Greet will be booked at the drop-in rate listed on my profile. At the first visit, slow and quiet are the name of the game, I take my time going about their routine so they can get used to me! After my tasks are done, it's my goal to make them as comfy as possible by offering them their favorite toys and treats at their own pace. By the end of the booking, my aim is to be your pets new best friend and your go-to sitter!

About: I just lost my 13.5 year old shepherd, I have been skilled in taking care of him and his old age and needs, I spent his whole life training him in German and English. I spend all day with dogs and know dog behavior very well, I have worked in boarding facility’s giving meds and food and walking dogs and learning their specific personalities. I groom dogs during the week when I’m done working I am free and certain days i have free time to care for others loved babies Care for your pets in your home where they are safe and happy, teach me how you and they like to be loved and cared for and I will always follow every direction given.

About: I've taken care of animals for 20+ years and I understand and can do everything under the sun with them, from administering home vet care such as shots and pills to helping to train new puppies or older dogs in a new environment to taking care of special needs pets or Senior Care. About: I have 3 dogs , 2 cats , a fish, 2 hermit crabs and 30 chickens. I've also owned horses . I love animals and being around them . I'm currently working but am available from 4pm till 7:30pm . I can do drop in visits or walks in the morning from 7:00 am to 8:00 am during summer. Please contact me with any questions. My pets currently wear collars to keep them in the yard.
