Since it was our first time using Rover and we were coming from out of town for a wedding, we were a little unsure of how everything would go. But from the moment Rich greeted us and Lucy, we felt completely at ease. He carefully introduced her to his pack, and she fit right in, enjoying the great backyard space and having a great time with the other dogs. We're so grateful for the care Rich provided. About: I've had my own cats and dogs all my life. I've watched family pets and neighbors pets as well. Its a joy to take care of them. I take care for dogs up to 30lbs. I'm home every day and available to watch your pets. I have plenty of time to cuddle, play and meet their daily needs. I will provide pictures of their vacation time. I have a pet friendly home where cats and dogs are like family. They are allowed on the furniture . I will provide leash walking and ample outside time.

“Alexa and Alex were amazing! Great communicators and were very accommodating. They were flexible with pickup/drop off times, they helped a bit with crate training and separation training. They even offered to meet in person first to make sure Mabel was comfortable with them and Shay. But most importantly, Alexa and Alex were so sweet to Mabel and I could see by photos that Mabel was very happy being with them, in their home. Mabel and Shay were such best friends and were always so excited to see each other! I will always go to Alexa and Alex (and Shay) first for any babysitter needs in the future! 10/10!!!”

About: Hello Fur Baby Families, I am a retired elementary school monitor and a "Grammy" to six grandchildren,their dogs and to my three friendly rescues. Betty, Nancy,and Weeza have a fun and safe outdoor fenced in space, full run of our "Pooch-Proof" home. There are plenty of toys, bed, love, and treats ( as many as your pet parents allow) including fresh homemade jerky. For many years we shared our home with Lucy who was a diabetic rescue We educated ourselves on her special needs including insulin injections. We would love to have your Fur baby/babies over for a playdate or a sleepover. They will receive love and care just as if they were at their "Grammy's" house. **Please note I am open to watching dogs up to around 20lbs. I am available 24/7 for day stay or extended stay. I am fully retired and available to give you piece of mind when you are away from your furry friend. Our rescues are part of our family. Our home is "Pooch-Proof" inside and out. I have a relationship with the rescue agencies who have approve my home for doggie care.

About: Hello! My name is Sarah and I am an active hiker and camper. I took a break from Rover for a few years, and now I’m back! I love being outside and I love dogs, so I figured I would combine the two! Rain, snow or shine, I'll be there. I work and live full time at a nature preserve which means I can check up on your pup frequently, and my schedule is very flexible. I have one dog of my own who loves hiking, and can be very high energy and require a lot of love so I know how to entertain energetic minds. I've been caring for animals for 10+ years now, so you can trust your furry companion with me :) since my schedule is flexible there's no pressure if you need to cancel last minute. Since I have an energetic pup myself, I devote many parts of my day to caring for him. Including your pup in that routine will be super easy and Otto will love it! If your dog is more chill, I will make sure to entertain them in different ways so I don’t overextend them :) Anything you are most comfortable with, I’m happy to follow! I will make sure your pet comes first in every situation and ensure they’re comfortable while under my care.

About: I've loved and cared for 11 family dogs and countless friends' dogs and cats since I was 12. I have a deep respect for animals and am very attentive to their signals and communication. I will absolutely adhere to your routines and ensure your pet is comfortable in my home and with me first and foremost. For me, pets are family, and I treat your babies as I would my own! My day always starts with coffee and my dogs. Your dog will receive 3 walks per day, minimum, and will be free to roam the lower level of my home, where I work from my home office. My dogs have their space upstairs in our main house, and my guests downstairs with me. This ensures I can attend to my boarders' needs immediately and help them get acclimated to a new environment with new smells. I have direct access to my backyard from my downstairs space and will keep your dog safely leashed when outside.

About: I’ve grown up with dogs and have always had a deep love for animals. From playful puppies to older, more laid-back companions, I’ve gained experience caring for dogs of all breeds and sizes. I’m passionate about providing them with the attention, care, and exercise they need to stay happy and healthy. Whether it's taking them on long walks or simply hanging out with them, I’m here to give your pet the best care possible I do work full time, but definitely have the time to take care of your dog or cat. I work from home 3 days a week (Monday, Thursday and Friday) and would be available on weekends with a few days notice. There is plenty of space to play inside and outside. I live in a private home with a fenced yard and one friendly dog at home. I’m fully committed to giving your pet the attention they deserve!

About: I have taken care of pets since I was a kid. Neighbors always relied on me to help care for there pets when they were away. I have trained puppies and am good with seniors. Our pets are a priority and get taken care of first thing in the morning and always on a schedule. If they require special attention, that always comes first. It is imperative that the pets needs come first and stay on a schedule. Pets need to know that they can trust the provider and build a rapport. Pets will always be a priority.

About: Hello I have been watching dogs for several years now. I truly love the companionship of dogs. I have watched many breeds of dogs including Labradors, Pit Bulls, Yorkies, you name it. I have many dog toys at home and a sizeable yard for the dog to go potty in. I also have a large home so your pet will have plenty of space to roam around. I will send pictures daily and let you know how your dog is doing. If your dog has any special needs or requires any sort of medical attention I will be there to provide the required assistance. About: Animals have always been the biggest part of my life. I've never met an animal who I didn't immediately love, no matter what species or size. I have spent my life learning to understand and communicate with animals to best meet their individual needs. The majority of my experience is in caring for animals with special needs and disabilities. I have an extensive background in animal care, including; veterinary student and technician, former volunteer coordinator & foster with the SPCA, current volunteer large animal caretaker, and much more. I am Pet CPR certified and I always carry a first aid kit, along with allergy friendly treats, a spare leash, and lots of poop bags. My goal is to give you and your pet a positive, stress-free experience that they will look forward to almost as much as they look forward to having you home. I am flexible and will always do everything in my power to accommodate requests made on short notice, emergencies, extended sitting stays, and even some holidays. I also offer the following amenities which can be added onto any existing pet service; light house cleaning, laundry, basic dog grooming, and basic dog training (these services are separate from Rover and do not appear as options, please inquire directly). I am also more than happy to accommodate other pets, and have extensive experience with all species of birds, rabbits, rats, guinea pigs, tortoises, turtles, fish, pigs, cows, and horses. I'm looking forward to meeting you and your furry, feathery, or fluffy family members! 🐾 Animal caretaking is my life, 24/7/365! My schedule reflects my current availability around the other animals I am currently caring for, and my availability is first come, first served. I can make accommodations for emergencies or short notice when needed. Your pet will never be out of sight during visits or stays, and update photos will always be provided as frequently as you'd like during our scheduled time.
