The visiting dogs are not confined and are free to mingle and find their own place to relax. There are ample dog beds, couches, human beds and floor space for lounging and sleeping. I especially appreciate that Ryan limits the number of dogs he boards at one time to a very small group, & makes sure they vibe well together beforehand. The living space Ryan and his boarders occupy is all on one level, which is great for my dog with arthritis. There is a wooded trail for walks adjoining the yard, and a guest bedroom if a dog needs some quiet alone time. I would HIGHLY recommend Ryan and I plan to use him again!”

He lived a healthy, active life for 15 years before he developed feline diabetes. For the last two years of his life, he received daily injections, so I am familiar with giving cats injections. Maintaining access to clean water, quality food and snacks, and a clean litter is paramount to a long healthy life for cats. I am ready and more than able to make sure your cat has access to these things while you are away.

About: I've taken care of dogs since I was a child. I owned two Miniature Pinschers growing up and I adopted one Australian Shepherd mix that has special needs as an adult. I trained all of my dogs from the time they were puppies until they passed away as seniors. I also volunteered at the Humane Society of Westchester. I've always enjoyed being around animals since I was young and animals tend to feel the same way about me. Animals who are usually timid around strangers are comfortable around me right away and they seem to trust me right away. New clients get a free 2027 desk calendar that has photos of my clients and my dog as well (check my photos for a preview). I'm able to adapt to the normal routine of the pets that I'm sitting in order to make the process as smooth as possible. I don't have a lot of room in my studio apartment so I'm only able to watch either 1-2 small dogs or one medium sized dog. Large dogs are too big for my apartment. If I'm at a client's home, I'll change my schedule to meet the needs of the pet. I believe all animals are unique and all have different needs in order to thrive in the environment that they're in. I'm willing to meet those needs by building my schedule around the animals that I'm sitting.

Our lovely property has Invisible Fence for about a acre, so any dogs trained on it get to enjoy lots of untethered play time. Every dog who stays gets a temporary ID tag with my address and phone number in case of accidental 'escape' We love couch cuddles, and both of our girls sleep in bed with my son. We also have dog beds everywhere, and crates & gates available when needed.

While I was living in Queens, New York, I spent a year dog walking and pet sitting around Astoria and Long Island City. My responsibilities included individual and group dog walks, in-home care for elderly and special needs dogs and cats, cat care, litter box/wee wee pad changing, and feeding. I am currently a stay at home mom and freelance writer, so my schedule is very flexible between the hours of 8am and 3pm while my children are at school. As a cat mom, I understand how important safety is when it comes to animal care. From the moment I walk into the house, keeping your pet safe is my priority. During my time with your pet, I will do my due diligence to make sure your pet is safe and happy from harnessing and leashing, through the walk, and finally my departure. I know the importance of staying alert on walks, constantly taking in the environment for any potential dangers from other animals, people, and vehicles.

About: I've been surrounded by pets my whole life. Growing up, I cared for many cats and dogs. I don’t have any animals at the moment. However, I did care for my cat, Susan, and Siberian Husky, Luke, for 15+ years before they both crossed the rainbow bridge in 2019. I know the tender, loving care that’s required to take in an animal and I’m sensitive to the fact that these kittens & pups are your babies! Each dog/cat/pet has a different personality and set of needs based on their breed or lifestyle and I’m prepared to take on any challenge. I’ve had prior experience home/dog/cat sitting and my schedule is pretty flexible. My phone is on hand at all times and I’m more than willing to send you pics throughout our time together! Currently, I have a flexible schedule and am looking to care for cats and pups to fill my days with more furry friends. 🐱 🐶 When I had pets at home, I would care for them by taking them on walks and playing their favorite games. I installed an electric fence for my dog so he could run around and enjoy the outdoors when I couldn’t walk him.

I’m careful with doors, leashes, gates, and each pet’s individual routine, and I’ll send updates and photos so you know how they’re doing while you’re away.

He communicated well with pics and updates during my dog's visit. During our initial meeting I felt an instant rapport he had with my dog that put me at ease. His home is VERY dog-centric! The visiting dogs are not confined and are free to mingle and find their own place to relax. There are ample dog beds, couches, human beds and floor space for lounging and sleeping. I especially appreciate that Ryan limits the number of dogs he boards at one time to a very small group, & makes sure they vibe well together beforehand. The living space Ryan and his boarders occupy is all on one level, which is great for my dog with arthritis. There is a wooded trail for walks adjoining the yard, and a guest bedroom if a dog needs some quiet alone time. I would HIGHLY recommend Ryan and I plan to use him again!”

“You can tell how much Natasha and Hamir really care about dogs and they took such good care of our 6-month poodle puppy Jujuba during our 10-day trip. We were very worried as it was our first time away from our puppy but they did an amazing job treating him as if he was theirs and putting all our worries at ease. Natasha sent us updates everyday with pictures and prioritized Jujuba’s safety. The dog area is separated from the kitchen by gates, so you don’t need to worry about puppy swallowing something that’s not good for them. Natasha and Hamir not only took him on regular walks, but also kept him away from heat when it was too hot outside. Our puppy gets some eye allergy and Natasha cleaned his eyes as I asked. We could see how comfortable and happy Jujuba got with them when we picked him up. We will definitely use them again in future! 🥰🥰”
