“Veronica was wonderful with our two cats. I would recommend her to anyone and would use her services again anytime. It was the first time I used a sitter, and it worked out perfectly”

“Amruta was awesome! She was very friendly and accommodating. I received lots of updates and pictures which made me feel very comfortable leaving my dog with her. Would recommend!”

About: I am 22 years old and have had dogs my entire life and know how to properly take care of any dog of any size. Even though I am a dog person cats do not bother me. I graduated from Post University in Waterbury, CT. I am very easy going and super easy to work with. You can reach me at just about any time of the day with any questions or concerns. I knew I have always wanted to do something like this but, was not sure exactly where to go. If you did not catch my name, I am Joe and am happy to start helping out. When I am home I am always walking the dogs and also love to throw the ball around and run with both of my dogs. As said previously I walk and play with my pups and they love to run and stay active just like myself and they have a ton of energy.

About: I have had a dog growing up my whole life. I currently do not have any pets of my own but I watch my families pets. I love to have the company of pets and treating them like my own. I am a teacher working full time. I am able to come home during the day to take pets for walks. I get home in the afternoon and am home for the night. I am in it out of the house throughout the day to care for your animal. I get home early in the day and will hang out with your pet all night.

“I can’t recommend Iliana enough! Her communication is impeccable, keeping me updated throughout the day with messages and adorable photos of my pups and chickens. It was such a relief to know my dogs were in good hands.”

About: I have been around dogs and cats my whole life. Throughout high school I have gained experience with house sitting and overnight dog sitting. Comfortable with giving dogs medication as one of my families dogs required insulin twice a day. I have experience in caring for bunnies, hamsters, fish, rabbits and more. I am a student located about an hour north of NYC. I only have class 3 days a week so I am quite flexible! I am able to provide overnight sitting or drop or basis. I am confident in caring for dogs who have different needs, I am used to giving dogs medication. Watching the dog and making sure to take them out when needed and give them extra pets when needed as well.

“Thank you so much! Danielle went above and beyond to let refresh the dogs’ water bowl even when I hadn’t remembered to ask. A true dog person with their best interests in mind. 10/5 stars”

“Mario is awesome! He was very thoughtful and patient with our pets and did a great job of communicating with us while we were away. He really put us at ease. Would highly recommend 👍”

About: I have taken care of all sorts of animals since I was very little. I am a equine major and own 3 dogs and a cat. I am working evenings part time on both weekends and weekdays around my softball schedule. I am looking forward to seeing and meeting all different animals. I am very responsible and trustworthy and care for your pets just as if they were my own. I would never want to put you in a place to have to worry.

“Loren gave us such peace of mind and sent us so many updates and photos and videos. She was so attentive to our cats and took the time to let our shy cat get used to her. She is amazing with animals and I would totally rebook Loren again in the future! I would recommend her services highly🐾☺️”

About: I have been taking care of dogs since I was 8 years old. I have experience with friendly and social dogs, as well as shy and aggressive dogs. I am extremely passionate about animals and believe all they need is the correct care, comfort, and attention! I currently work from home and have a flexibile schedule to walk and care for dogs during the week as well as on the weekends. I will take dogs on walks, let them outside if there is a fenced in yard, feed dogs, give them medication, and put them in a crate if needed. I am comfortable handling anything that your dog needs!

About: Growing up, my very first chores were dog- related, so animal care has always been integral in my life. While I sadly no longer have any furry friends of my own, I am an animal person at heart. I’ve pet-sat for family, neighbors, friends, Rover clients, for pets of all breeds and sizes, and I’m very comfortable around any dogs. I grew up with 2 German-shorthaired pointers, and I was responsible for their care daily before and after school. As we (me and the dogs!) all got older, I was the primary caretaker of them in their senior years, so I’m very familiar with the struggles and ailments that come with elderly dogs. I am strong enough to lift most dogs if stairs are any issue- our dogs were around 60-70lbs. I have had roommates with cats who I’ve become very close with. I’ve always loved cats, so learning to care for them and earning their trust was so exciting. I’ve cared for the cats for a week’s time before, so would feel comfortable caring for cats as well. I love pet sitting- it’s nice to have a furry friend to visit since I lack one in my own family at the moment! Any client of mine gets all the pets and attention they could ever dream up. I am also very active, and I walk or run every day, so having a companion there is a bonus for us both! I look forward to your consideration, and if you have any questions about my experience or anything please let me know. I am currently between full-time jobs but keeping my calendar updated very frequently with my summer availability as I am hoping to pick up work either ongoing or on a one-time basis! Depending on the comfort of each pet, I always spend some time introducing myself and getting to know them at first. Spend some time petting them and getting them comfortable with my presence in their space, and next playing with them if they’re up for it. Once they know they can trust me, we’ll take the day ahead together and they’ll alternate resting, playing with toys, and walking outside. I also love to share photos with owners, so I’ll be sure to keep you posted on what we’re up to.

“I am a River sitter myself and found myself stuck a few hours from home needing a last minute sitter as mine was booked. Kim was so kind to squeeze my dogs in last minute and took great care of them! Highly recommend!”

About: Growing up in a home with two beloved rescue corgis and cats, I learned early on the importance of compassion and care for animals. My family dedicated countless years to fostering dogs in need, primarily from southern areas, which helped me understand the unique personalities and needs of every pet. Currently, I have three energetic rescue pups that I raised from puppies, and this has only deepened my love and understanding of dogs. With years of experience pet-sitting, walking, and fostering, I’ve gained a strong ability to connect with dogs of all backgrounds and temperaments. Whether it’s giving special attention to shy rescues or providing energy-filled playtime, I’m here to ensure your pets feel safe, loved, and cared for in every way. I'm currently a student-athlete at URI and do not have a job, so I have flexibility throughout the day during the week. This allows me to give your pups the outdoor time they deserve, whether it's for a quick walk or a longer adventure. I have plenty of experience walking dogs, and I always stay alert to my surroundings, including other animals and people. Observing your dog's reactions helps me determine the best course of action to ensure their comfort and safety throughout the walk

“Natalie is the best! She is kind, on-time, and sent photos throughout the entire process. I felt confident leaving my pets & home in Natalie's care. Will definitely book her for my next vacation, and you should too!”

“Jeanette looked after my 2 cats for 6 days. She was always on time and communicative. I received pictures and comments everyday. My cats were well taken care of. I will definitely use Jeanette again!”

About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life — big and small. I care for my two large dogs daily and helped raise my Boston terrier until he passed at 14. I’m comfortable with all breeds, patient with senior dogs, and treat every pup like family. Reliable, gentle, and experienced. I’ve built my schedule to prioritize quality care for every dog I look after. I’m available Tuesdays and Wednesdays anytime after 11AM, as well as after 6:30PM every other weekday by request only ensuring your pup gets dedicated attention, exercise, and playtime without rush. Whether it’s daily walks or drop-in visits, I balance my commitments so your dog always feels valued and well-cared for. Consistency and reliability are important to me—I treat each dog like family and make sure their routine is smooth and loving. Your dog’s safety and comfort always come first. Whether I’m walking your pup or visiting them in your home, I keep their routine, personality, and comfort level in mind. I follow any feeding, walking, or medication instructions exactly as given, and I take time to build trust with each dog—especially shy or senior pups. I always double-check doors, leashes, and gates to make sure your pet is secure before and after every visit. If anything seems off or if I have a question, you’ll hear from me right away. I believe pets feel safest in familiar spaces, so I create a calm, respectful environment where they can relax, have fun, and feel loved even when you’re away.

About: I have loved and been around animals my entire life; I say all the time I’d rather be in the presence of animals than humans ha ha ha! I have worked for a veterinary office, had my own animals, and have looked over friends and families animals. I pride myself on being a true animal lover & will go above & beyond for your fur babe & your family. I’m currently a SAHM who wants more interaction with animals (for my children as well)! My availability is pretty open. You let me know what’s needed & Im sure I can make it work! Whatever you prefer- I’d do! Crate, free range, leash, walks…We have a clean, fun (3 kiddos), and non-smoking home. Your pet would be considered like my own~ whether that be snuggles, hiding in the basement from storms together, or going on leisurely walks together. They’d be like my own for their time w/ me.

Christene P.
“Christene was a lifesaver to my family! We have a Cane Corso who is very large and powerful. We hired Christene to walk her a few times a day and spend time with her. She did an amazing job and even left us notes about how her day was. She always appeared more calm when we came home the days she was with him. As a result we hired her a few times we went on vacation. She watched our dog and 2 cats and would send us videos upon request of how they were doing. I would highly recommend Christene as she is certainly an animal lover and has a knowledge base about pets as well.”

Aspen P.

“Aspen is a kind, loving, responsible sitter. She is great with my kitties. I would recommend her anytime”
