About: I have had dogs my entire life, and taken care of them in full for my family, friends and neighbors. I love four legged furry friends; giving them walks, playing with them and making them feel comfortable. I have always adopted rescue dogs so have a good sense of how to take care of apprehensive dogs, as well as hyperactive or dogs that need more attention and a patient trainer. I have amateur experience training dogs and have learned tips from my sister who is an experienced dog trainer and dog walker. I have chickens at home and have cared for furry, scaled and feathered friends in the past, I love them all. I am patient and loving when it comes to taking care of animals and hope you will consider me to take care of your best friend(s)! My partner and I have recently lost our best furry friend and I would love a reason to get outside more often with my favorite animal (dogs!) or any animal at all. I currently work full time but am off on Sundays/Mondays as well as evenings. My job allows me to leave midday as needed. If I can plan ahead with a care schedule, I have no issue fitting walks/care as needed. I personally have always had free range dogs, but have experience with free ranging as well as crated dogs. I am comfortable working with contained pets as well; chickens, other birds, snakes, tarantulas etc.

Due to unforeseen circumstances we were without a cat sitter shortly before going out of country for over 2 weeks and were more than a little stressed. Luckily, we found Meghan who not only was available but made us feel totally at ease. She is a great communicator and goes the extra mile. I can't say enough good things about her. About: I have cared for many animals over the past 18 years while managing a pet resort. I have also walked dogs during my lunch hour. I recently retired after 18 years in veterinary medicine and managing pet resort. I have always loved animals and have 6 dogs of my own. I have a 6 foot fenced yard and have 6 dogs of my own. My dogs are dog friendly and go to daycare often and play.

I often foster kittens and make sure to take shelter dogs out for days on town to give them a break from their kennels! Kaila is a terrific person - very nice, personable, and very good with Daisy. I had Kaila coming in because I had surgery and needed help with my dog's basic needs - feeding her, walking her, etc. Kaila gave it her very best. Daisy, my lab, pretty much didn't want to leave my side. I didn't realize she was too attached to me. Kaila did a great job & tried hard to get Daisy to play, walk, etc. I would highly recommend Kaila to anyone who needs dog care!!
Hampton is so wonderful! My (normally shy) cat trusts him and is totally comfortable with him which is such a treat and a testament to Hampton’s gentleness. Hampton is always so communicative and lovely and provides the best updates. He even goes so far as to tidy up litter box and take out trash, which I so appreciate! I will continue booking him as long as he’s able to!
