“This was my second time booking Robyn and Steven and i couldn't be happier! They do a great job with my pets and my home is always cleaner when I return than it was when I left. They both went crazy when Robyn stopped by to get the key. They love her so much and were so excited to see her. I will definitely book them for my next trip and every trip after! I am so happy that I found such a sweet, wonderful, animal loving couple to make my travels a little stressful. At least I never have to worry about my home or my pets being safe and well cared for.”

“Rose stayed with our pets while we were gone for 7 days. Everything that we asked of was done and more! I would recommend Rose if you’re looking for someone to care for your pets.”

“Sophie & Ryan have been our house sitters several times now. They are both amazing! We would not hesitate to have them in our home in the future. Our dog, Gonzo, loves them. They take him on little adventures to a winery or the nearby equestrian center. When we return home our home and dog are always more clean than when we left. Thanks guys!”

“Therisa (TJ) was fantastic staying in our home to watch our very rambunctious Great Dane and pointer/lab mix. She was very communicative and gave me detailed updates about the pups and her stay at our house. We highly recommend Therisa and we look forward to being able use her services again in the future. Thank you!”

“Crystal is great! We’ve been using her to pet sit for about a year now. She is friendly and very communicative and she takes great care of our very senior dog and cats”

About: Life long animal lover. Cat owner since Elementary school. Currently have 3. All different breeds. I have experience with dogs too as I used to have 2 Labs. I often dog sit for my friends on weekends so figured I'd give this a go as well. Love meeting new pets I have lots of free time on the weekends and love going on walks whether its hot or cold. Most evenings in my work week are free. Pretty flexible if there are some pop up opportunities. I just love hanging out with animals in my free time. Cat wise: I am very careful to not let any cats out of the house. I know some can be escape artists. Lots of practice there. I will sit patiently for more timid cats to warm up to me. I typically won't pick them up at first or pet their bellies. I usually get my friends cats to warm up to me quickly and get them playing soon enough. Will cater to the cats that like drinking from the faucet too. Dog wise: I am ready to meet their energy and go on some fun walks. Will even be down to jog with them if they have a lot of energy. I'm cautious about food allergies so I will make sure I only give treats that are allowed and be patient to make sure they go to the bathroom during our visit. They will get all the pets they need!

“We had a great experience with Mandy! She stayed in our home for five nights to care for our pack—two dogs and two cats—and when we got home, everyone was happy, healthy, and well cared for. She sent frequent updates and tons of adorable photos, which gave us peace of mind while we were away. Our home was in good shape when we returned, and we appreciated her thoughtfulness and communication throughout the stay. We’d work with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a kind, reliable sitter!”

“Pam does a wonderful job taking care of Archie and Cooper! Very attentive and providing us plenty of updates and photos while we are away! We appreciate everything she does and know our dogs are in good hands!”

“As always, amazing care! Shannan is so kind, communicative and really cares about my babies! They are so happy and relaxed when I get home. Already have her booked again and will keep her coming back anytime we go out of town ☺️✨”

“Do yourself a favor and book this sitter! This was my first sitting experience through Rover and it honestly may have spoiled me. From the onset of the experience, it was all very professional -- Karla came to do a meet and greet with the dogs at home and was so thorough in her questions and gauging of my comfort level, I instantly felt at ease. Both her and her partner were very warm and very low pressure about actually booking with them, even though they had taken time out of their days to meet with me, but I immediately knew I wasn't looking further than them. I got daily updates when I was away and when I got home, my dogs were comfortable and content. :]”

About: Hi! I’ve grown up with animals my whole life and have always had a passion for them. I’m so passionate, in fact, that I’m in my gap year before I start veterinary school next year! I have fostered over 20 dogs, so I am familiar and comfortable with a variety of breeds, sizes, and ages. I am currently the mom to a 1 year old dog and a senior dog, so I have first hand experience on the different needs and requirements for a happy and healthy dog! Additionally, I have personal experience in beginner puppy training, senior care, and handling reactive dogs. I am available 7 days a week at all hours. I just moved to Jacksonville a few weeks ago so am hoping Rover can help me meet some furry friends and create forever bonds! As a dog mom, I know first hand the anxiety that comes with having someone watch your pets, so I make sure to provide plenty of pictures, videos, and updates. I am very active and love to be outside so I can take your dog on as many (or as few) walks/runs as they want! Or if your dog isn’t active, we can chill in the AC! Due to my flexible schedule, I can provide both dog walking services and house sitting services (as well as overnight visits if needed)! My schedule allows for me to make your dogs comfort and safety my #1 priority! Due to having a reactive dog myself, I do not allow your animals in my own home for your dog’s safety and comfort! I am very tidy and organized, so I will treat your home with respect, and leave it cleaner than I found it!

About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I care for every pet like they’re my own. I’m attentive, gentle, communicative and genuinely love bonding with each animals unique personality whether it’s a long walk, quiet companionship, or playful energy I adapt to what your pet needs most. I also respect your space routines, making every visit, smooth and stress free. I currently have a part-time job with a flexible schedule, which gives me plenty of availability during weekdays and weekends for pet care. I am able to prioritize walks drop ins and sitting throughout the day and I enjoy building a consistent routine with each pet I care for whether it’s morning walks midday, check-in or overnight stays. I can easily work pet care into my daily flow. I know how important it is for pets to feel safe and comfortable in their own space when I care for pets at your home. I do my best to stick to their usual routines so things feel familiar and easy for them. I’ll treat your home with care and your pet like family whether that means extra cuddles, sticking to their favorite walking route or just keeping them company while you’re away

“Kristie looked after out pit-mix and cat for a weekend and was fantastic. She was gracious and asked great questions during our initial meet and greet. She gave us updates and pics throughout the weekend. She was such a calm presence for our animals while we were away. Our home was clean and looked great, when we returned. We would definitely rebook with her. Thank you Kristie!”

About: I love meeting new dogs and getting to know each one’s unique personality. Dogs have a way of reminding us that life is simple and beautiful when you focus on what truly matters. Just like I do with my own dog, Leo, I treat every pup as part of the family. I enjoy taking dogs on neighborhood park walks and supervising their play in our spacious, fenced-in backyard (see photo!) for some fun and safe exercise. Qualifications • Compassionate toward all animals and attentive to their individual needs • Respectful of your home and privacy—I care for your space as I do my own • Playful and engaging during pet time, while being dependable and thorough with all care tasks I work weekdays in a hybrid work model that allows for a flexible work week, so I can ensure I give your dog the attention they need and deserve. I mainly work from home on Fridays and Mondays. My wife also works (weekdays only) from home in the afternoons and goes out of her way to care for dogs as well. I have a large fenced back yard (see photo!) your dog is free to play around in. I will do everything I can to maintain the same quality of care you provide your pet.

Alyssa M.
“Alyssa lives in my apartment complex and I met her through Ada, the dog she is fostering. Ada was on her leash, about 15 feet away, begging for my attention so I asked if I could pet her. Alyssa said yes and explained that Ada is hyper-reactive, but I still thought she was an adorable dog. After talking with Alyssa over the last few months and having Ada stay at my apartment a few times, I could see how well Alyssa cared for her and trained her. Ada behaves so much better on the leash now, you almost wouldn't even notice her walking by you on the sidewalk. Alyssa even wrote detailed instructions on shampooing Ada's feet hahaha”

Lackawanna pet parents share their Rover experiences
Emily was FANTASTIC! She was prompt to respond and sent me pictures of my babies without me even having to ask. And she didn't charge extra, like lots of other services. She is my new "go to" any time I'm out of town and can't take my dogs. And the price was unbeatable. I felt so comfortable with her dogsitting my angels. Thank you, Emily!

Mandy did such a wonderful job taking care of Brownie while we were out of town. It was Brownie’s first stay as an only dog as his sister recently passed the rainbow bridge so we were nervous about leaving him for so many days but Mandy eased the worry. She took many photos and gave regular updates. We will 100 percent use her again.

Ari was very responsive to the initial request visiting our dogs to see if she and they were a good fit. During the house sitting she arrived on time and provided video and text updates. She even stayed till we returned as our stubborn Brittany would not go in her kennel. Everything was easy and Ari was great, will use again.
