About: I am an avid pet-loving Minnesota native who would love to watch your pet & house-sit while you are away. I moved to NM in August and can't wait to continue to meet new pets! I do exceptional dog walking, dog and cat sitting, and house sitting as needed at clients homes. I take great pride in my pet-sitting job and hold it to a high standard regarding time spent with pets, walks, and cuddles. Pet care has been a crucial part of my early twenties lifestyle. I have always been an animal lover, but cannot own a pet myself due to where I live. If I am able to watch someone's furry friends, it makes my day! I keep pets food schedules as close to what they are used to as possible, as well as stay overnight, play with them, and take them on walks. I love to explore my clients backyard when I am pet sitting, whether that be a trail to follow, a pond to walk around, or a neighborhood to admire. I am an avid walker, so we will certainty go on a long walk. I am always mindful of traffic and keep pets on their leash, unless specific directions are given. Safety is my top priority.

“Tara is amazing! Finding someone to help out with a puppy is not an easy task, but she is always willing to come by and do drop ins, even last minute. Our boys are always very excited to see her and are super comfortable with her. Both our boys are large breed dogs that most people would shy away from, but Tara is great at taking the lead with them. We also have a complicated feeding schedule, as one is an adult and the other is only 4 months old, and we feed half kibble half fresh food. She does a great job with detail to their feeding needs.”

About: I currently have 3 dogs (pitbull, red healer, chihuahua). Professionally worked at a doggie daycare and I just have a very sensitive heart for dogs/cats. I have another gig job ( I deliever for Amazon) so I can be very flexible. I really enjoy the freedoms of making my own schedules. My home sits on a state highway, so I am very vigilant about secure fencing. I do not allow my own dogs to be outside unless I am home.

About: I have a big family with lots of pets so I’ve done plenty of dog sitting which consists of going on walks, bathing, feeding and enjoying each other’s company. I adopted my dog Gus in April Of 2023 and we go on daily walks. I also fostered a dog for about 6 months I am available after 3pm Tuesday-Saturday and, all day Sunday-Monday. I currently walk my dog at least three times a day so your dog can tag a long or we can schedule more person time with your pup I’m aware of basic pet safety. Like what foods are unhealthy and closing doors and gates behind me. I can regulate any other pet safety requests to keep you and you pet safe and happy:)

I’ve supported senior pets through their final stages with patience and compassion, and I’ve also helped care for newborn litters, closely monitoring their health and development as they grow. I’ve owned and cared for an older three-legged dog, and I’ve helped friends with pets who needed assistance walking, standing, or getting comfortable. My lifelong experience with horses — including care at the professional competition level — has strengthened my attention to detail, reliability, and commitment to high-quality care. I’m comfortable administering medications, including oral and IV treatments, and have experience doing so for dogs, cats, and horses. Above all, I treat every animal entrusted to me as if they were my own, providing thoughtful, attentive, and genuinely loving care. I currently work a flexible 9–5 schedule, which allows me to stop by during the day for potty breaks, short walks, or check-ins as needed. Outside of my work hours, I have open availability aside from time spent at the gym or caring for my horses at the barn. I prioritize clear communication and planning to ensure your pets receive consistent, reliable care throughout the day. In my home, my pets are truly part of the family. I have a Belgian Malinois mix who has 24 hour access to our fully fenced backyard with plenty of space to run and explore. She can also come in and relax in our upstairs office whenever she would like, so she is free to choose where she feels most comfortable. We go on daily walks and occasional hikes to keep her happy and fulfilled. Because I also have three indoor cats, one elderly and one still quite young, I supervise full house access to make sure everyone feels safe and relaxed. My dog is very cat friendly, but I am always mindful of each animal’s comfort level. My cats have free roam of the house, lots of toys, cozy spots, and supervised outdoor time during warm summer days. I pay close attention to their different personalities and needs, especially my senior kitty. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on keeping things as normal as possible for them. I like to learn their routine, when they eat, where they sleep, how they like to play, and any little quirks that make them unique. I know how important consistency is for animals, so I do my best to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you are away.
