About: I've taken care of my dogs, pugs and a lab, since I was a child. I've also dog sat for family members dealing with a wide range of dogs. I'm currently working part-time and going to school part-time, and would love to check in on dogs and take them on walks before and after school/work. Available to walk and check in on dogs anytime before 8 and anytime after 7. I can be flexible on times during certain days as my work schedule changes. I will follow any rules my clients have for their house and their dog. I'm able to let dogs out on a leash or in a fenced in yard. Will spend some time giving the animal the love and attention it deserves.

About: I’ve had dogs my whole life. I have experience with diabetic dogs. Dogs that need medicine. Special needs dogs. I love to play with them, walk them and I will treat them as my own. We raise horses so I have a lot of experience where you have to pay close attention so I would notice if something is off with you dog and I would address it immediately. I’m retired so you would not have to worry about your dog or cat. I would walk, brush, and play with your dog or cat. I would take care of your animal as my own at your home. I would make sure they are loved like my own. If they have special needs or need shots, medicine or anything extra you can feel safe with me.

About: I have been surrounded by animals my whole life, and through those years they interest me more and more. I had/have multiple cats and dogs, and the connection with them has been something I couldn’t imagine not experiencing. Plus, the knowledge I have gained from being around familiar animals makes me feel I would love experiencing new things with other pets, and get to know their unique personalities. With that being said, I am open to almost any training/service necessary for your dog(s) or cat(s) needs and would love to get to know your fuzzy family! I’ve just started school, and my classes are every weekday from 5:30 pm to 10 pm, just so you’re aware if that contradicts any booking requirements you need. I have my own pets to take care of, but other than that I don’t have consistent routines that would get in the way of the times and dates I’m available. For drop-ins, I will do feedings, outdoor/potty time, and get to know your pet(s). If there’s any questions or other service not noted that you’d like to ask I can do, I would be happy to answer. Walks- I do at least 15 minute walks, and up to 90 minute walks. More characterized questions, such as walking area or what certain necessities your pet(s) needs can be discussed once I have contact/a schedule with you.

About: I’ve been around animals my entire life, so getting older & widening my love for animals into a job seemed so fitting. I really enjoy those outdoors walks & dog park visits I am able to get in. Not only do the animals need to burn off energy, but I do as well! I currently am working a part-time hostess job at Casey’s in New Buffalo while I do only college classes at the same time, but still have plenty of hours in the day to attend to your fur babies! I am extremely flexible to any needs. I prefer watching the fur babies at the clients home because the pets are more comfortable there & can do their daily routines there. I would rather adjust myself than to have them adjust!

I’d absolutely love to help your family out. I have six years of experience walking and taking care of dogs, and also can provide light grooming. About: I enjoy taking care of a variety of pets, and have helped care for many over the years. I have experience from everything as small as hamsters up to horses. I currently have dogs, cats, ferrets, and a horse. Many friends and family have relied on me for advice or to care for their pets. I’m available most days any time after 8am for pet sitting or dog walks! I can also do multiple drop in visits throughout the day! Normally at home I feed the dogs dinner, my mother does breakfast! I also take them out for walks around the yard. In your home I would do whatever is asked, and clean up any messes made.

If they have special needs I'm happy to be your care extender. I am retired and self-directing, so my schedule can typically be tailored on an individual basis to fits the needs of Fido or Feline. I prefer advance notice and planning so there is a chance to build trust and familiarity with your best friend. I do not offer pet sitting in my own home. I can pet sit in your home if desired. About: I have always enjoyed spending my time with animals. I got my first dog when I was in elementary school - sadly he recently passed away - but since coming to college I have been missing my sweet fur baby. Being able to play with and care for someone else's pet while also earning extra cash would be an ideal job experience for me. Getting a new pet really isn’t an option for me right now. With all the free time on my hands, and I would love to get the chance to spend it walking and playing with your fur babies! In the past, I have dog sat for other friends and family and I really enjoyed it and having the extra company is always a plus!

About: I have been around all sorts of animals since I was a baby. I had a German shepherd growing up. Now I own a hound mix who is very energetic and keeps me busy which I like. While I was in college I worked at my teams stable and took care of my coaches horses, chickens, and her donkey. Since I own a dog of my own, pet care is in my every day life. I am a server at Dante’s house of pizza. Even with my busy work schedule I still have plenty of time to take my own dog to the park, walk him, and play with him. I want to share my love by taking care of other peoples animals. I can ensure them that their furry friends will be safe in my care. My dog’s name is Gino and he loves being outdoors whenever we can be. He loves going on walks with other dogs. He is really happy when I take him to my friend’s house to play with their dogs. My dog is very spoiled and gets to snuggle up with me in bed. I am responsible to take him to the vet when he needs his yearly check up. I make sure he is well groomed and well fed.

About: I have over a year of experience working in an animal shelter mainly working with dogs. I have worked with all kinds of dogs ranging from large to small. About: I work at a board/groom/train facility and as have cared for 2 senior dogs, Have medication administering/pilling experience, as well as experience with puppies raising one myself , I am also receiving further training as of now I work full time but am free after 3pm, on days I am free any time may be discussed, I am open to any day of the week I have experience identifying behavior and health of dogs from stool to ears/eyes and everything in between from both my work and personal experience, I am also taking training courses related to pet heath.

About: I’ve worked at a dog hotel, and I’ve pet sat for both cats and dogs. I’ve never met a dog that didn’t like me, and I’ve never met a cat that didn’t tolerate me. I’m a student pilot, so some days I have about 2 and a half hours where I won’t be available. Otherwise I have a very flexible schedule and can spend all day or any time caring for your pet. I don’t have any pets of my own, but I’m good at making anyone’s pets friendly with me. I’ve done daily check-ins and up to two weeks staying at someone’s house to keep their dog active and happy.

About: They call me that because once you start feeding squirrels, birds, stray cats, neighborhood dogs walking by, and maybe a raccoon & possum once or twice, like me, then you’ll start to befriend them. Soon after it’ll start to feel like animals are attracted to you (but it’s mostly because I give them food lol). I go by Janet and I love animals from feathery to furry. New update from November 2025 - I’m back on Rover after a year-long hiatus and accepting new clients in the Chicago land area and northwest Indiana. 😊 My husband and I moved into a house with a spacious backyard in Lansing, Illinois. I’m open for arranging pick up and drop off as I do have a reliable transportation. Lastly, a meet and greet at my home would be ideal so your pup(s) can meet my husband, who will be there a majority of the time, and get a feel of where they will be staying. But rest assured I will be 100% responsible at all times for your pup(s) while under my care. I currently work from home. I set my own schedule, so I’m available to work whenever I am needed including mornings and weekends. Preferably daytime and Fri - Sat date night evening. I care for pets by making sure to thoroughly read care instructions and immediately contacting the owner by either call or txt if I have any questions. And most importantly by never letting them out of my sight!

About: I’m currently employed as a kennel manager at a dog daycare and boarding facility in Burns Harbor, Indiana. I’ve grown up with dogs my entire life. I’ve gained experience caring for dogs that require extra attention and medical support. I am comfortable monitoring and administering medications for dogs with seizures, cancer, and diabetes, and understand the importance of careful observation. I work full time, but my schedule allows me to be available in the afternoons and evenings when I’m on day shifts (off around 2–3 PM). During the weeks I work night shifts, I have daytime availability. I am available all day Wednesday and Sundays. I am very flexible regarding your animals care to ensure they stay comfortable and remain in the same routine while you are away. My care ranges from young puppies to older dogs that may need more attention. I provide feedings, fresh water, potty breaks, walks, playtime, etc.

About: I worked full time for a shelter and loved working with every animal there. Meeting them at their level so that their needs were completely fulfilled was my passion. Whether they were high or low energy, dim or bright, friendly or not, I thrived on figuring out what would make the the most adoptable and what would make them most comfortable in the harsh shelter environment. It was a difficult and demanding job at times especially when I needed to provide first aid or medication/therapy for ailing animals but I always enjoyed coming home knowing I did something that meant something to those parent-less pets. I also had the lovely opportunity to work the social media for the shelter and take photos and videos of each animal to best display their personalities to the wider public who wouldn't normally see them otherwise. I currently work part time with very flexible hours so I am frequently available to provide service to both my own pets and others. I find it very fulfilling to be able to make time for my own furry friends! Working in a shelter environment I often met many animals at their lowest when they were beyond scared and upset. I got exposure to many dogs and cats that were horribly unadapted to life around people and had personalities on either end of the spectrum. I am more than comfortable with animals that are more aggressive in both appearance and personality and was frequently tasked with retrieving abandoned or lost animals using the company van.

About: Since I was a little girl, animals have always taken to me in ways that I haven't fully comprehended and it's amazing to witness. I like to believe that they respond to the love that I've always had for them! With my services, I’ll make sure the pets are loved and cared for like my own, whether they be cats, dogs, or more! Rest assured, your fur baby will be in great hands☺️ I am currently in school full time, but am available in the mornings and evenings to care for your pet! I am also available Sundays for in home, drop in, or dog walking needs I can be of service in anyway that is needed! While I’m not able to provide care in my own home, I am able to complete safe drop ins, sitting in the pets home, or dog walking if needed.
