About: As a lifelong dog lover and proud pet parent, caring for animals is truly one of my greatest joys. I currently share my home with two lovable pups, and I’m also a proud grandparent to three grand-doggies and one grand-kitten—yes, it's a full and furry family! With years of personal experience and a genuine passion for animals, I bring both heart and hands-on knowledge to every walk and pet check-in. I’ve cared for pets of all ages, including senior dogs needing a little extra love—whether it’s administering medications, helping with mobility, or just providing that gentle, loving presence they deserve. Before diving into pet care full-time, I was an elementary school teacher, which means patience, responsibility, and attention to detail are second nature to me. You can count on me to treat your pets like my own—with kindness, care, and lots of tail wags! Looking forward to meeting you and your furry family! Currently, I am available for drop ins and walks two times per day. This summer, my schedule is far more open and could easily fit additional times, as needed. I would follow whatever directions/guidelines are provided for me so that your pet(s) routines are kept as close to what they are used to as possible.

“Leslie was so wonderful to my babies. I cannot praise her enough! She helped me when I was in a bind which will not be forgotten. She took pictures of her playing with them with frequent updates, as well. She is definitely worth 5 stars. If there was 6 stars, she would get them!”

“wonderful job once again. Second time I’ve used Alyssa and my cat Max has already started accepting her. He is normallyquite picky and usually afraid of everyone.”

“We officially hired David on rover and as always everything was great. The cats love him and were all so happy. Everything was taken care of properly and as asked. Can’t recommend enough. I also appreciate that there is no extra charge for having more than one cat. It’s never made sense to me that I have to pay someone coming into my home for the same half hour block of time more just because we have more than one pet. Thanks so much!”

About: Dogs are my PASSION! I have been raised around dogs the majority of my life, and involved in non-profit rescue work for over 12 years. Rescues and adopted family members fill my heart with soo much joy! I am experienced with large packs, bully breeds, behavior needs, elder care, medicine management, and special needs. I am certified through ABI-Animal Behavior Institute- and completed my training programs for CACTP (Certified Advanced Canaine Training Professional) and CCTBS (Certified Canine Training Behavior Specialist) and currently focusing on field work hours to attain my CPDT certification in Fall 2025 (Certified Professional Dog Trainer). I work with Behavior Modification dogs at Animal Humane New Mexico alongside my mentor who is also CPDT accredited. My love of animals has been a large part of my life for my entire life. The love and connection that we share with animals, and the beautiful lessons that they have to teach us in this life are worth taking the time to stop and listen to and learn from. Every dog I meet has important works to share with me. Your pets will be like an extension of my own family. I have been a dog mom for over 20 years now, but shared much of my childhood with our family dogs who always brought so much love, joy, and understanding to my life. I knew as an adult that my family would not be complete without dogs, and now my pack completes my family! I have a flexible schedule that can be adjusted to accomodate the needs of most stays and care needs. I can plan around the needs of your beloved family members needs while balancing my own with in and out ability during day and overnight stay needs. When I am in someone elses home, I take much care and respect of the space that I am in. I will be respectful of house rules and needs. I am even able to do minor care including watering plants, feeding fish, opening blinds, etc.

About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life — from playful puppies to older dogs who need extra patience and care. I’m confident handling big breeds, and I know how to read animal body language to keep them safe, happy, and relaxed. What sets me apart is how much I truly pay attention to each pet’s needs. Whether your dog needs extra playtime, a slow walk, or just some quiet cuddle time, I adjust to them. I also make sure to keep you updated with regular pics and messages so you know your pet is in good hands. If your pup has special needs, anxiety, or is still learning — I’ve got you. I’m calm, reliable, and treat every dog like they’re part of my own family. I work part-time Thursday through Sunday from 11 AM to 4 PM. Outside of those hours, I’m available for walks, drop-ins, or overnight care. My schedule allows me to give pets lots of attention before and after work, and I’m fully available on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. When caring for pets in your home, I treat it with the same respect I’d want for mine. I follow your pet’s routine closely — from feeding and walks to crate time or medications if needed. I always keep a close eye on pets, making sure they’re safe, comfortable, and stress-free. I also send regular updates so you know exactly how your pet is doing. If your dog is staying with me, they’ll be in a calm, clean, and loving environment with plenty of space to relax and feel at home. Safety is always my top priority.

About: Loving pet parent, foster pet mom, and experienced pet sitter. For the past year, I have run my own drop-in pet care service for pets of film workers. I'm absolutely THRILLED to branch out and offer my services to pets in my immediate area on Rover! My husband is a film industry veteran, and through his network I found a very special niche caring for crew member's pets while they work *long* film days. Pets of film workers need a little extra TLC because their moms and dads work such long hours (10-14 hours a day on average!), so the majority of my time has been spent focusing on enrichment, walks, play sessions, etc to help film dogs and kitties feel fulfilled while mom or dad are at work. These skills naturally transfer to all pets! Dog or cat, young or old, I would LOVE to welcome your fur babies to my roster and pack our sessions with enrichment! :) As a loving pet mom of 5 including 3 rescue dogs and 2 rescue cats, I specialize in multipet households and know just how important it is to give each pet their own specific attention. No 2 dogs or 2 cats are the same, and I make sure to take time to listen intuitively to each dog and each cat to match my care routine to their needs as well as the needs you, their loving and amazing parents, specifically request for them! Need a rigorous walk for your high energy dog? I've got you! Need a quiet sitter to spend time with your kitty while they eat? I'm on it! No matter what your request - you can rest assured that I will bring endless understanding, love, cuddles, and TLC to the table to make sure your babies feel safe, secure, entertained, and loved in our time together. I will respect every detail and make sure to handle every single pet with care. Special Needs and Senior Experience: My oldest baby is a 17-year-old special needs senior kitty named Catun. She requires daily medicated eye drops, a special diet, and a whole lot of TLC during mealtime due to neurological damage. We've nursed her back to health through some dire times, and despite all odds, she is the happiest, healthiest, and most amazing kitty! I absolutely ADORE caring for her and welcome any of your complex senior or special needs pets as a result. I wouldn't change a single quirk about Catun - she is perfect and taking care of her is the joy of my life. If you have any special needs pets - particularly seniors with special needs, you can trust me with their care and I'm so happy to help! I will listen to them and to you, and love them like my own. Nothing gives me more fulfillment than caring for animals. I can't wait to care for your pets! I'm an entrepreneur and maker- jewelry making and pet care are my full-time job! I am flexible and available outside of the care and needs of my own pack. I often times won't be available for vacation stays due to my husband's film industry schedule, but never hesitate to reach out with last minute needs - if I have capacity, I'm happy to help! I am available for drop-in visits in your home and neighborhood! I could also drive your pup to my neighborhood for walks- it's where I walk my dogs safely every day! I offer daytime on-leash walks when it isn't too hot for dog paws and yard plays in your fenced yards or in your home anytime. I do not offer pet sitting in my own home at this time. I can always come to you!

“Joel was great with our cats. He even got our shy one to stick around and not hide in the bathroom. And he gave us a heads up about an exterior leak after it rained.”

“Sarah did a great job with taking care of my pets. She followed all the instructions and really cared for them. She is dependable and very caring. So glad she is a rover for me and my pets!”

La Luz De Sol pet parents share their Rover experiences
Andrea is the best. She is so caring and took wonderful care of my senior dog Gus. He has special needs and Andrea is very mindful of them. She is very organized and communicative. She provides pictures and updates. If you need a great Housesitter look no further!

Our cat really seem to enjoy having someone stop in and visit with him while we were out of town with family. Julie was very respectful of our home, always made sure our house was locked/alarmed when she left after the visit and treated our fur baby really well. She's very nice, a good communicator and was accommodating, not that we asked for a lot. She also agreed to water my plants on one of the visits during the week that we were gone. We even got adorable pictures of our cat on our Rover cards during her visits. We had a really reassuring experience having her as our pet sitter. We highly recommend her and will absolutely be contacting her for our next trip out of town.

Highly recommend. Margaret was great with both my high energy pittie and my super skittish boxer mix. She kept me updated and sent lots of cute pictures. She even went above and beyond by noticing that it was trash day and taking the trash out for me. It’s always stressful leaving my dogs behind while I travel, but Margaret eased my concerns. I would definitely use her again!

Jody is so lovely and sweet! They took the time to learn about Rudy and his quirks and separation anxiety, and then ask how they could help with the process. They took amazing notes and provided me with a lot of feed back. It’s always a pleasure to work with Jody and I’m glad to have someone who can help me when I need a doggy babysitter! Much appreciated!

I am beyond impressed with Patrick and calm demeanor. He did amazing with our pack and they took to him very quickly and we have a pack 4 pups and our chicken's We received notification from him getting to our home and at the end of the visit as well, received pictures of everyone. We all want an amazing sitter I believe we found that in Patrick. I will definitely be a repeat.
