I have volunteered at Animal Rescue, Inc, walking dogs and caring for cats. I also volunteered for feral cat spay/neuter clinics. For over 20 years I have provided complex daily care, including medical needs, for my personal pets. This, and petsitting, have previously been accomplished during full time employment as a veterinary technician at veterinary hospitals. About: I have been rescuing dogs and cats for the last 25 years with my husbands help. I love cuddling and loving on just about any animal. As of right now I have a Rottie/English Mastiff rescue named Demo and a calico rescue named MoMo. I frequently sit my granddog Kaito who is a Shepherd/Pyrenees. We briefly tried to live without animals and quickly realized that's no life to live. Pets have a special kind of love and affection you can't find anywhere else. I am currently working less than part time and my schedule is fairly flexible. I can fill in as needed usually with a few hours notice but do prefer at least 24 hours I cannot host any pets at my home as we are still not sure if my dog is reactive. I am more than willing to attend to your pet in whatever fashion you request in your home within reason.

I’m available mornings, evenings, and weekends, with a flexible schedule that allows me to adapt as needed. I am able to care for about a dozen pets per week and I only book one house-sitting family at a time to ensure each pet gets my full attention. Walks and drop-ins can easily be added into my day, especially Monday through Friday. Pet care is both relaxing and rewarding for me — I love building relationships with the pets I visit, and I think they look forward to our time together just as much as I do! I provide care exclusively in my clients’ homes, starting by learning their pet’s established routine to ensure they feel comfy and happy. I gather all the important info — like vet contacts, emergency numbers, and where cleaning supplies live (just in case!). I’m a tidy sitter too: I take out the trash and scoop up any yard “presents” to keep things fresh. I have multiple animals in my classroom at school including guinea pigs, rabbits, a bearded dragon, and turtles. I also have several dogs and cats of my own! I have a lot of flexibility outside of my normal working hours of 7am-3pm during the school year.
