“I can’t recommend Emily enough! She took wonderful care of my dogs, making sure they were happy, well-fed, and got plenty of attention and sent daily pictures. What really stood out was how they went above and beyond when there was an unexpected mess—she cleaned it up quickly and thoroughly without hesitation and contacted me with concerns. It gave me such peace of mind knowing my pups (and my home!) were in such capable and caring hands. I’ll definitely be booking with Emily again!”

“Alexis was very attentive to our 3 cats. We will definitely book her again. Our cats range from young to old and they all loved her. She’s responsible and trustworthy.”

“The best sitter we could ask for. Our cat, Bruce, was sick while we were out of town and Bethany went above and beyond to make sure he was comfortable and had everything he needed to feel better. An angel.”

“Kathleen was great to trust with my two pets while I was away! My dog is not always thrilled about new people, but she was very patient with him and even got a kiss from him. Will definitely rebook!”

“I have three elderly dogs, two of which did not have not had a good past. They are fearful of people for good reason. They instantly trusted Mary. I have never before been able to go away without worrying the entire trip. She has truly enhanced our lives, already booked her a second time.”
“We hope that Danielle can continue to help us out with our dog. She was very responsive to our inquiries and made our first time using Rover a breeze. She took great care of our dog and we felt at ease going away for the weekend knowing Danielle was watching our pup!!”

“Elizabeth was extremely caring and responsible for our two cats during a month long trip during the winter (including bad weather). We would definitely recommend her for providing care for any fur family members.”

“This was my first time since moving and having my cat alone so I was nervous to hire someone to check in on her. Tai was communicative, caring, friendly and sweet! She closely followed the instructions I left. I am so grateful for the last minute drop-in visit. I will definitely reach out again and would recommend her for anyone’s pet!”

“Colleen is an exceptional sitter. Her expertise and trustworthiness make her the perfect choice. Knowing our pet and house are well cared for allows us to enjoy our time away knowing everything is in good hands. I will always book Colleen for future trips.”

“Mason was exceptional. She allowed me to book her literally last minute and said she could visit the pups without me home (emergency work trip). She was prompt and took great care of my pups, asking me any questions she had to best care for them. She sent me plenty of pics and the pups loved her!”

“Rachel was wonderful. My dogs were excited every time she visited. She left copious notes on what they were up to. She cleaned up any messes they made and kept them happy, healthy and safe.”

About: I have lived with cats and dogs my entire life. Taken care of neighbors’ and co-worker’s pets. Previously worked for a cat vet, so giving medications is not a problem. Recently retired and looking to stay busy! I currently live with three of my own dogs and I’m finding extra free time these days. Recently retired from law enforcement and looking to stay active with dog walking or drop-ins. Looking forward to decompressing and helping those who work long hours not worry about their pets!

About: # About Me Hi! I'm Marisa, a veterinarian with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (VMD) degree from the University of Pennsylvania and a lifelong animal lover. Caring for animals has been both my profession and my passion for many years. My experience includes working in general and shelter medicine, caring for dogs and cats of all ages, providing medications, monitoring pets with medical conditions, and recognizing subtle signs of illness or discomfort. I also worked as a veterinarian for Guiding Eyes for the Blind, where I helped care for guide dogs throughout their training and working careers. Outside of my professional experience, I've raised a guide dog puppy, volunteered with therapy dogs, and have shared my home with dogs and cats my entire life. I currently have one senior Labrador Retriever and four cats, so I understand that every pet has their own unique personality, routine, and needs. Whether your pet is an energetic puppy, a playful cat, a senior companion, or one who requires medications or a little extra patience, I will care for them as if they were my own. My goal is to make sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved while giving you complete peace of mind. I provide reliable communication, detailed updates, and plenty of photos throughout each visit or stay so you always know how your pet is doing. I look forward to meeting you and your pets and providing the compassionate, knowledgeable care they deserve! Over the past few months, I've been focusing on personal growth while also helping care for my aging parents. This has given me a very flexible schedule throughout the week and on weekends, allowing me to dedicate plenty of time and attention to the pets in my care. Whether it's drop-in visits, walks, or overnight stays, I can be reliable, accommodating, and attentive to each pet's individual routine and needs. I strive to keep each pet's routine as consistent and stress-free as possible while they're in their own home. I'll follow your feeding, walking, medication, and exercise instructions carefully, provide plenty of attention, playtime, and affection, and make sure your pet has fresh water and a clean environment. I'll also send regular updates and photos so you can have peace of mind while you're away. My goal is for your pet to feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for until you return.

Three cheers for Mareena! She took excellent care of my cats for two weeks while we were out of the country. Her calm demeanor really helped them, especially with Tuck who is very shy around strangers. She sent daily updates with pictures and I saw him out and playing with her and JiJi. Mareena was very communicative and responsive to all of my questions and concerns. Will definitely have her back again!

Frequently asked questions about Rover
As of August 2026, there are 1,166 sitters on Rover offering Cat Sitting across Kyleville. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Kyleville. On Rover:
- 96% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 98% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 96% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
